  I try to install Windows Embedded Standard 7 on an vacuum Compact Flash 4 GB but when installing, I get an error message "Windows cannot access the installation sources. "Check that the installation sources are accessible, and run the Setup again."

  I created an answer file with the Configuration of Image Editor and I created an Image of the IBW of my answer file. All the files and the Image of the IBW (738 MB) files are copied to a USB bootable 4 GB. I inserted the Flash DRIVE to a computer with a Compact Flash 4 GB (which contains only a primary NTFS partition set as Active) and it starts on a USB key. IBW Wizard starts and I followed the instructions until the disk selection step. I chose the disk and partition of Compact Flash and I press the next button. First 2 installation steps manage (copy of Windows files and extend Windows files) but 3rd step (installing features and updates) failed with the error message "Windows cannot access the installation sources. Check that the installation sources are accessible, and run the Setup again.'.»

  I tried to do the same thing with a Compact Flash 4 GB, which contains 2 partitions: a primary NTFS defined as active and a system partition, but I got the same result. Then I tried to install it on a Compact Flash 8 GB which contains 1 single defined primary partition as active and I managed.

  Problem is that I must install on a Compact Flash 4 GB.

• Cannot use the timecode source in my project?

  I do not properly understand that Premiere Pro that you cannot use the timecode source in your project? I know that I can change the BEGINNING of t - c in a clip, but I need to read it off the camera (XDCAM EX3)? And if indeed I can't use source t/c - WHY NOT? My files audio syc'ed must be Sync manually!

  You can read the timecode source of your clips in several locations within Premiere Pro.

  If you load the clip from the source to the source monitor, don't you see the time code of the displayed item?

• Cannot generate the main Layout, invalid media error

  I am currently using Robohelp x 5. I get the error, "invalid media. Cannot create the Y:\JUSTIN\AwareHelpStage file", when I try to generate the main layout for my project. Does anyone have an overview of what could be the problem?

  Also, when I go to, file-> generate primary layout and change the output folder. I get a different error, 'Please select a new subfolder of the project or folder out of the path of the project'.

  I do not have a "Y:\. "on my computer or, at least, when I try to make my computer can't find it.

  I have 95% connections and only a few .png in my project. Could be the error media that this is a reference?

  I changed the name of my .xpj, about 70% of the way the project, that it was by. I'm not sure, if I tried to generate a main page layout because I changed the name. Could there be some kind of confusion in the system when it is trying to produce the layout because of this? The reason why I ask, because it asks the name of my project, the name in the text box 'Project name', when I go to file-> generate a main page layout.

  There seems to me to refer to a network location.

  I might suggest you right click on your unique Layouts of Source folder and create a totally fresh provision. Leave the path to the output folder because it is in the new provision. See if that solves nothing.

• Satellite L650 cannot get the Gigabit connection to switch

  I ran windows update yesterday and installed the recommended updates, restarted my laptop today the error message "Unable to load the main class" appears in a box and I couldn't do anything until I had closed this box, after the loading of firefox it displays a message not responding, then a bar indicating that plugin adobe did not start successfully so I clicked to reload page Then, I rebooted my laptop to see if this solves the problem, but the same error message appeared and firefox have responded in the same way, someone has an idea how I can fix this problem?  I run anti-virus software and malware from comodo and my OS is windows vista 32. I also downloaded an update for adobe flash yesterday but the problem has not produced until after I had done the updates of windows.  Thank you

  Keep the computer in a clean boot and check the status of the issue. If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem. Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service. After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

  I am trying to configure mapviewer on our environment and after

  Add the DB details

  Save & Restart is updated the file xml but not displayed on the data source tab.

  But where as the other details of DB, I am able to add without problem, then if I click on change by selecting the data source to add/edit the details required to DB I get following error.

  Source of data editing is not yet supported. However, you can delete and re-create it with the new settings.

  and on the Management tab is not showing me any option to add the new source of data manually.

  Maybe the connection details are wrong, you see something in the Map Viewer logs files?

  A part of the Flash application. I'm working on right now is the following-

• Cannot generate the main provision in RoboHelp HTML X 5

  Several years ago, I had created a project using RoboInfo Publisher 5.  It's a fairly broad knowledge base with several folders, themes and a decent index.  When I switched computers recently I have tried to reinstall RoboInfo 5, to see that I could not activate it.  When I called Adobe support, it gave me an installer for RoboHelp X 5 as RoboInfo was is no longer supported.

  Now, when you try to update my existing project to RoboHelp HTML X 5, I find the menu selection to generate primary layout page is grayed out.  I can create a new project and publish it without problem, but I can't get my existing to publish.  After some research, I deleted the CPD file and reopen the project.  The first time I open it, after that the index is re-created, I can select in the menu generate main layout, but nothing comes.  If I close and reopen the app, the menu selection is grayed out again.

  Any thoughts?

  If you right click on the pseudo-dossier of single Source Layouts, you should see an option to create a new page layout.

• try to copy files mini DVDs recorded on my camcorder on my hard drive. continue to "cannot read the file source or disk" when sound to half way through. __

  Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

  If you cannot copy files normally, try to copy guest rather using Xcopy command.

  1. click on start, principally made programs, click Accessories and then right-click on command prompt, click Run as administrator.
  2. type the following command line and press ENTER. In the command line, drive is the letter of the CD drive or DVD drive.

  xcopy drive:-*. * /s > c:\test1

  See if that helps to successfully copied the files on your hard drive.

• Cannot access the main part of the hard drive

  I am running xp Media Center on a Dell Inspiron E1505.  I wanted to be able to boot XP or 7 so I created a partition 6 GB and loaded with Windows 7.  I did not assign a letter to the partition.
  I am only able to boot Windows 7 and my HDD shows that 6 GB.  I have a lot of programs and information on the other 105 GB portion, which I cannot access.  As 6 GB disk space, it shows that I have less than 32 MB of free space. n

  When I click on properties for the c: drive, volume and complete, I can see the rest of the disk space assigned any letter.  What can I do to access this part and boot from XP again.

• When I tried to start my computer, I got an error message saying there is no hard drive installed, cannot find the main drive.

  So I got the cd to reinstall windows xp, and he says he does not have a cd drive. I can only choose f2 or f12, but not all options appear. Normal boot and the following three, don't you remember those who, 1 to 4 in any case. Cannot run diagnostics as it says that there is no drive. Tells me to press f1 to retry or f2 for this to be.   If you assembled your PC yourself, this may happen because of the bad connection in your hardware.

  You can consult:
  1 make sure your CDROM /dvdrom is properly connected.
  2. the hard drive is properly connected, make sure that there is no loose connection.
  3. Insert the CD of Installation of XP and reboot the PC to check again.

  Is the usable hard drive prior to this install attempts or you install a new copy of XP into a new PC?

• Cannot create the IPv4 Interface on switch SG300-20 entries

  It is a brand new switch, mode of L3, and I am connected to port 5. By default, all ports are VLAN1 (management) defined as the PVID and are defined in trunk mode. I can connect without problems, and nothing else is connected to the switch.

  I did a master reset (via the web interface and button reset for 20 seconds) several times, and every time I try to assign an IP address to a VIRTUAL LAN on the page located at IP Configuration > GPI and Interfaces > Interface IPv4, I lose connectivity to the switch and it should be reset.

  I make no changes to the VLAN1 (management) or the port I am logged in, but the problem persists. My switch is bad? Thanks in advance.

  It is done, your switch has several types of IP addresses,

  -static IP address (you set this)

  -dhcp (a server or router that sets)

  -default (if neither of the other is defined) 192.168.1.254.

  If the sg300 or 500 device has the default IP address and add another IP interface (on a virtual LAN or on a port), it will determine that static or dhcp is the management interface and the address 'by default' won't work any more.

  The workaround for this is:

  When you configure layer 3 routing on a sg300 or switch 500, once the switch is in mode l3, you must:

  1 - give each VLAN interface a static IP from vlan1.  This can be the same as the default 192.168.1.254, but I recommend to choose another address where you decide to add another switch in the future.

  2 - before you set an IP address on the new VLAN, assign a port of access to the new vlan (so you can move your desktop to this vlan) management if necessary.  management of VLAN--> belonging to a vlan port.  Once you assign the ip address and your management interface goes far, move your pc to port on the new virtual local network, give it a static and reconnect to the new IP address.

  3. use the cable from the console and CLI to configure the interface vlan, as the console port does not go down, or lose connectivity when configuring a VLAN.
