  Hello

  I am using Captivate 3, and I have this file to a project that I can't change the captions in. I didn't have this problem until I imported a slide from another project. Since the slide imported, I not was able to change the text captions. When I double click on the caption I want change, nothing happen. If I click the legend once to highlight and go to the menu and click on an option to change the caption, nothing happens. Captivate is only do this on the project that I imported a slide, all the other projects I opened works very well. I tried to save the file under a different name, and I always get the same result. Someone at - it any other ideas? I do not have anything good? Thanks in advance for the help!

  May be that the CP-file or objects have been corrupt. I recommend creating a new blank file with the same resolution and copy and paste the slides in this new file. Better, not all at once, so that you might be able to find the culprit "slide".

• Captivate 8 - cannot change the captions or contained text of the smart shapes

  I am arm wrestling with C8 after C7 update last week.  Now, on the first software Simulation, I recorded from scratch, I can choose failure of legends and the intelligent forms with text in them, but I can't edit their content.  These elements are NOT locked in the timeline panel, otherwise I would not be able to select them.  I can move them around, but they contain the auto text that Captivate put into them, and I can't change it. I can also change the shape and type of legend of failure or intelligent form. When I insert a new legend I have the same problem.

  
  

  The project has 55 slides, so it should not be because of its size.  I erased the library of unused items.

  I recorded under a new name, closed and reopened the project, closed and reopened C8 - same question. Any ideas?

  Windows 7 laptop of my grandson, I'm migrating FIREFOX (excellent resource!) of my aging XP desktop. An existing Mozilla installation on the guarded device tries to connect to an ISP in Sydney (1000km) which kept out, I guess because the signal is too weak. Too far - on the Internet?

  Reinstalled my new ISP contact, reinstalled a fresh copy of Firefox, copied the old profile XP (just underneath the random string file name), but cannot change the fault. Firefox at startup tries to raise the old ISP (Sydney) and expires, and then allowing me to establish a manual connect with the ISP (my current) new.

  _rl.cur is not a slider that comes with XP. Nor is the folder named arrow. You must have installed a 3rd slider party system and I guess you are trying to change that.
  Try to reinstall it.

  Unfortunately, you cannot change the font color of desktop.

  Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

  The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.

  In previous versions of Windows, it did not matter what color you chose to fund policies, some would still make invisible because of the background color of a desktop wallpaper. The user was constantly moving icons around the desktop computer to another colorful area where the police could be read. This was the source of a large number of complaints from users asking for a policy that was still visible, regardless of the color that was behind the police.
