Cannot change the link colors

With recent browsers and versions of dreamweaver I can't change the color of the text on my links, even though I have a tag CSS specifying a different color and style.   For example, I want the links in the table on the right to be bold and a different color... http://www.colonialstock.com/corphome.htm.    It only displays the color to one: bind style CSS.  I want it to display the SideTabs style and color.  Here's what I have for the CSS tags:

. {SideTabs}

color: #1B 3652;

cursor: auto;

do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.

make-weight: normal;

do-size: 12px;

}

a: link {}

text-decoration: none;

cursor: pointer;

color: #0368C 2;

}

a: visited {}

text-decoration: none;

color: #0368C 2;

}

a: hover {}

text-decoration: underline;

cursor: pointer;

color: #0368C 2;

}

a: active {}

text-decoration: none;

color: #0368C 2;

}

Any help please?

Try this in your CSS (same style for all States to link):

. SideTabs a: link,.

. SideTabs a: visited,

. SideTabs a: hover,

. SideTabs a: active,

. SideTabs a: focus {}

color: Red;  / * adjust the hexadecimal color code as Req'd * /.

do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.

make-weight: bold;

do-size: 12px;

}

  • Cannot change the font color on the desktop icons

    I am running windows vista. I can't change the font as in windows xp. No matter if the background is dark or the police is always black... Help!

    Hello

    Thanks for posting the question in Microsoft Answers.

    I apologise for the inconvenience.

    Unfortunately, you cannot change the font color of desktop.

    Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

    The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.

    In previous versions of Windows, it did not matter what color you chose to fund policies, some would still make invisible because of the background color of a desktop wallpaper. The user was constantly moving icons around the desktop computer to another colorful area where the police could be read. This was the source of a large number of complaints from users asking for a policy that was still visible, regardless of the color that was behind the police.

    However, you can change the theme and see if that helps:

  • In Illustrator, I've created a text box and cannot change the font color of black.

    In Illustrator, I've created a text box and cannot change the font color of black. I tried changing each CMYK percentage individually, but it stays black. I have not had this before. What is going on?

    akayshay,

    If I (put) understand, you can simply create a region Type, and then select with the normal (black) selection tool, then set the fill color to none in the Toolbox, and then click Add a new fill in the appearance palette and with the selected fill (yet) set your colour (ing) desired.

  • Cannot change the base color by typing the values

    I tried RGB CMYK and Hex and I can't change the base color of red. The only way I've been able to make changes are with the sliders or the wheel. Have I missed a button or a step somewhere?
    I type the numbers in the boxes below the colors and nothing happens.

    Hello
    Yes, currently the Panel values/color sliders are all or nothing. We are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. Thanks for your patience!

  • What is the property to change the link colors?

    DW5.5 in win 7

    I have a css file that is attached to my documents "twoColLiqLtHdr.css."

    What would be the property (at least that's what I think you would call it) to change the color of normal link from blue to white.

    I have another page that has some online code that sets the color of the link to yellow for this page only (a: link {color: #ff0})-provided by Nancy this Ant.

    I want to leave this yellow page with links, but change the color of a link to any other pages.

    all pages are derived from a model.

    but I guess I make the change in the css file!

    I can't find reference to a: link {color: #ff0} in the file "twoColLiqLtHdr.css" so I guess that's the default

    I tried to add in the body, containing sections and content, but that had no effect, UN-less that I did something wrong, I saved the file css after I made the changes

    If I move my mouse over a link in a page of the browser thingy (ships wheel) appears and tells

    twoColLiqLtHdr.css

    body

    . Container

    . I'm glad

    any help would be appreciated

    Thank you

    Try the following (replace yourColor with the color of the desired link and hover color). Add this at the end of the twoColLiqLtHdr.css file

    . Container a {}

    color: #yourColor;

    }

    . Container a: hover {}

    color: #yourColor;

    }

  • Cannot change the links applied to the text after the update of the MUSE

    This same event happened to me after you apply the update to MUSE before the update today, 08/01/2013.  All the links that are applied to the text on my web pages still exist, however, I cannot change.  The same situation applies to the associated ToolTip.  Please note that the links exist yet - I am simply unable to change after you apply the update today.  If I preview the page in a browser or that you publish the page, all the links work.  The only way I can apply a change is to remove each link and recreate.

    In addition, please note that links that I created in the vertical menu widgets appear very well!  I can view and edit them.  It seems that this problem only affects links applied to the text.  The images are included for reference.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

    LinkProblem2.jpg

    Hello

    What version of Muse you were updated to? We made a few changes important UI hyperlinks for version 3, which came out a month ago, so the passage of the 2.x to 3.x would cause some of these issues. I'm trying just to rule out the possibility that the upgrade to 3.0 or 3.1 and 3.2 caused this, because just dot release had a bug fixes.

    Thank you

  • Active window color problem - cannot change the background color

    original title: Active window color problem

    By right-clicking: Desktop, then click on: personalization / window color and appearance / settings (Advanced) appearance, Windows user can assign a background color of the active window in any application.  This is useful for those of us who don't want a stark white screen; We can assign a mild pastel tint which may be easier on the eyes for long term sessions.

    At some recent point, I lost the background color of the active window within Windows uses 'household.  I still not my background color assigned in any application I run (Word, Mail, etc.), but using Windows Explorer to navigate through my hard drive, the active window is now always the default stark white Windows.  How this change and can it be forced to adhere to the assigned active window background color?

    Hello

    Step 1: Check if the problem continues in a new user account.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-a-user-account

    Step 2: If the problem does not persist in a new user account, then the old profile could have been corrupted. Try the following article to fix a corrupted user profile.

    It seems that if your image is in grayscale mode. Go image > mode and change to one of the color modes.

    Hello

    How can I change the font color in Notepad? I recently saw a .srt file that shows the different font colors and when I opened it in Notepad, it appears from fonts to black as usual... ! The advice in this regard will be appreciated... !

    You cannot change the font color in Notepad. Why not use the WordPad integrated, or one of these freeware programs 'Office Like'.

    I use stylish addon for Firefox with a dark default css. I also changed the default window colors in the Windows registry. This changed the subject: white page to a dark color. But when I open a link in a new tab before the page is loaded, Firefox displays a blank page with a white background. I wonder how to change the white color to another.
