cannot close

Can Hi anyone help? When I try to shut down my computer it goes until "logging off" and stops.
I tried to end the session on the Start button, and it came with 'exploring exe"not allowing you to close.
I am running vista Home premium on a fairly high computer HP spes.

In addition to what said lets Chorros, I suggest to try a Cleanboot to see if the problem occurs. If it does not occur when you are in a cleanboot, then use the steps in the article to narrow down the cause of the problem, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Step 1: Perform a clean boot Note if the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

  1. Log the computer by using an account with administrator rights.
  2. Click Start

    type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

  3. On the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)
  4. Under the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

    Note following this step lets Microsoft services continue to operate. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

  5. Click OK and then click on restart.

    Cannot close the first tab (end of LH we) but others are closing. Indicator download on tab keeps indefinitely - running windows under all the tabs are functioning normally.
    Open another copy of Firefox allows all tabs to work normally in this copy

    If this does not work in mode without failure, then disable all extensions and then try to find out who is the cause by allowing both the problem reappears.

    • Choose "Disable all add-ons" on issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode to set window to disable all extensions.

    You cannot close another application programmatically. If the user closes the addressbook, it should return to your application.

    I met with the problem that Cisco Security Agent cannot close port 135/TCP on PC windows (XP or Win7).

    I configured the network access control module to prevent all client/server connections to port tcp/135 of the rule.

    I checked my police using nmap, so this port (TCP/135) 20 minutes shows as filtered and I see connect event monitor on the CSA MC, over the next 20 minutes he see as open and no newspaper doesn't show. (not exact time, then it maybe 30 minutes or 5, this varies)

    Can someone explain how TCP/135 works and it is possible to close it using the CSA?

    By mistake, we hit the button settings label number 3.  We do not have memory installed maps.  The instructions say that this:

    Otherwise, this button opens the copy settings menu.  Our problem is that we cannot close this menu so that we can print.

    We followed a hot and cold reset reset procedures without result.  The User Guide does not mention how to close this setting.

    So, we can now use the printer.  Can someone help us please?

    As I mentioned in the first post, I tried the hot and cold nothing works reset procedures.  I finally came to my senses and remove the printer and let windows 7 install the drivers again.  Then it worked.  I should have done that right away.

    This seems like a minor issue, so I recommend leaving her alone and allowing victory to force her to stop.

    You can also open your Preferences cc dialog box and not start cc when you connect if this prompt mind.  Just run the application cc, at most once a month.

    I "solved" the problem, or at least found a work around.  The program must be open as administrator.  Right click and open as administrator.

    If we don't do that all the time, set manually as open as administrator every time will strive do - follow the directions on the following link...

    Hi gurus,

    We did the migration of the Hp-Unix Sun Solaris applications. Oracle apps 11.5.10.2 with base 10.2.0.4 and application work well with few problems.

    Questions:

    1. a few custom forms (forms of message) cannot close. If us close by clicking on the X mark the upper right, it does not close can only minimize.
    2 couple of custom forms will not open even we have .fmx in the custom folder.

    Need some suggestions on this issues.

    Firefox kept crashing.
    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, BUT I get a message that I need to close Firefox already running. I can't close it because it says that it cannot access the PROFILE.

    You must locate the profiles.ini file and delete this file or use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

    Also go to shipping and the view box. Current view | Show all messages if you see the message.  Then go to file | Work offline, and then you can delete the message.  If you still cannot get rid of it, then close OE and delete the outbox.dbx file and OE will be a new.

    I CAN close a window using alt - f4, file > exit or using master.

    Other problems that may or may not be related.

    When I try to open the Device Manager and many other programs of the Control Panel, I get a small box labeled "Microsoft Management Console" that says: "cannot create document empty."    This box will have a button at the bottom to click, but it is empty.   These white buttons also appear in several other boxes pop up.

    There are 3 updates of windows usually trying to install when I start but never go beyond 0% installed and, finally, exhale and return to the previous settings.

    I found the answer that fixed all my problems.

    The basics are that you will find a hidden file under the name of "user32.dll.mui" in C:\windows\system32\en_US
    and replace it with a copy of the file in another location on the disk or a copy under a different name as 'user32copy.dll.mui' or ' user32 (2).dll.mui'.
    I found that my original "user32.dll.mui" file was empty and one that I have found elsewhere on the disk was about 17 k in size.

    You will need to follow the detailed instructions include take "ownership" of the file before, it can be renamed, but it worked for me.
