  I have a pixi and configure Exchange synchronization.  Email is works very well, but no contact or synchronization of calendar occurs.   I tried to delete the account and add in contacts, it did not work.  Tried the same thing using the calendar account add, once again not to sync contacts or calendar but e-mail worked every time.  Y at - there soemthing on the server that must be resolved, others in the ocmpany run iPhones and Blackberry without problem.

  The downloaded the updates yesterday and amazing pixi works.  You would think that the first thing that would make a new hone would be updated.  Not wait a week after it worked.

  I've recently upgraded to the Desktop Manager 5.0 and have been unable to sync it with my camera (8320 - T Mobile) since then. I followed the instructions at http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?message.uid=67297 to create the synchronization log files, but have been unable to decipher the contents of these logs to find the problem. Any suggestions?

• Synchronization of calendar with Domino traveler gets alerts but not entries

  I have a very annoying problem - I have configured my pre to sync with Notes via the traveler interface (Exchange).  I get alerts on upcoming events in time and these alerts have all the information, but nothing appears in the calendar itself.  When I reset the phone and re-installation of synchronization, the events show on the calendar for a few moments, then disappear.

  Yes, I chose "All" at the top right (and I've tried to 'Exchange' and back some time switching and yes ' display mode "All calendars" is on this account) and yes I have upgraded to 1.2.1.  Still having the issue.

  Any thoughts on what to try?  Miss me the meetings because of this and I'm pulling my hair out.

  Well, 1.3.1 seems to have solved this problem - I now of the calendar entries.

  You have posted in the forum for the calendar application which is nothing to do with Outlook, part of Microsoft Office.

  If you subscribe to Google Apps (paying) then you need the utility of Google apps sync.

  If you do not use paid for Google apps, then you need Gmail to Outlook calendar synchronization utility which is available here:

  This is not supported by Google more, but works - I use it currently.

  Here is the official response from one of the developers of the calendar:

  • CalDAV is done entirely via http/https and the calendar app is happy to send the xhr on ssl requests if you enter an https url. He is also happy (currently) to send unencrypted http requests although if you give a url for a server that doesn't support ssl. Hope that helps!

  So it seems it should work on a technical level, and that you already add CalDav address in a format "https".

  Are you able to access this calendar normally with other calendar applications? Maybe I need to open a bug for this issue.

  About 1 month ago received the message "Server error" sync a new device (Virtual Machine), I'm sorry, but I did not copy the exact message, but remember you that the notice was to try later. Long story short, after 3 days worth of 'try later' with the same error and many users have the same error on innernetz that I decided to delete my acct sync & start reading. BAD MOVE.

  We want to give freedom to our users to decide if they want or do not want to delete their data. In this case, technical difficulties prevented some users to do and we are sorry for this topic.

  Go ahead, take into account that our servers store the data permanently and databases are cleaned if the stored data does not within a reasonable period of time.

  I have the Options set to always open with a blank page and until today, which has always worked. But today it always opens with the tabs from the previous session. I certainly do not want. I've upgraded to version 38.0 but this made no difference.

  Windows hides certain default file extensions.
  Among them are .html, .ini and .js, .txt, so you can see only file name without the file extension.
  You can see the type of actual file (file extension) in the properties of the file via the context menu in Windows Explorer.

  The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.

  You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: 'Open with'; do not double-click).
  The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

  You can remove the user.js file if you do not create this file yourself.

  If you use Google as your calendar server, but using calendar as your interface applications, I think that you create the event in the calendar on your phone or calendar on your Mac. Is this correct? Make sure you have your Gmail account on your iPhone instead of Manuel Fetch.
