  Method 1: Put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

  To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  I have Windows 7 Home Premium installed on my Dell Inspiron desktop computer. The other day, I installed a few important updates from Windows Update. Finally, I would like to get to the windows logo screen where the logo moves. The logo suddenly freezes and stays that way. I started in safe mode, and he says that recent updates have not succeeded and it was back the changes. I'm still not able to log in. I can boot the system in safe mode, but it does not recognize my mouse and my keyboard to use. I can not even find my OS drive to use. I am very frustrated. I've had this computer for only a few months. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You can probably fix this by using the system restore. Here we go:
  1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
  2. select Repair from the menu.
