Cannot create media recovery g6-2210

When asked to insert a disk, I do, but nothing happens. The instructions tell you to do not disturb and it can take an hour, but I get zilch, nothing, no response at all, he just waits.

The media design program is the best. I recommend that you go from Imation to a better brand of DVD media.

Here is a link to the note of media blank DVD in terms of quality and material. You may notice that Imation does not appear on the list.

What is the product name complete of your laptop? You have two letters that should be on the end lack.

What is the operating system installed?

Best regards
ERICO

  • Cannot create a recovery on my Satellite C660D-1CU media

    Hello

I have a big problem with my laptop, Satellite C660D-1CU.
When I initially and then all the programs and Toshiba, and Toshiba recovery media creator this message is on display:

It is impossible to create the recovery media.
Can't find file recovery HARD drive on the second disc of the first hard drive. This computer has no valid environmental restoration of the hard drive.

Can someone help me because I really need my pc back to factory settings because I have too many bugs.

This problem occurs if the Toshiba Recovery creator tool cannot find the recovery image on the HARD drive. There are several reasons for this. Recovery image can be removed, deleted or structure of disk partitions HARD maybe changed. Just with the original settings and their State of origin HDD it will work.

Unfortunately now you will be able to create a recovery media or the installation of HARD drive recovery.
What you can do is a new and original for your model of laptop recovery DVDs and it is possible on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Cannot create a recovery on my Satellite S50T-B008 media

I have just bought a laptop by Satellite S50T-B008 and recovery media creator, when I click on create it tells me to insert a greater than 11.8 GB USB flash drive. I have a 32GB Flash DRIVE installed.

I click OK and then another box comes up saying the same thing. I keep going round in circles and I can't create the recovery media. I tried with other USB flash drives and different USB ports on the laptop and get always the same.

    Any ideas?

On my two machines I used ve 16GB USB stick from two various manufacturers and all went well.
I recommend you to use the USB 16 GB also. Try restarting your machine (full stop) and test again.
You can also try to format the USB key before starting the creation of recovery media

  • Satellite U840T - cannot create USB recovery media

Can someone advise please - I have a new U840T Satellite with SDDS and try to create a recovery media using a USB key.

The Toshiba 'Recovery Media Creator' inviotes I plug a USB key at least 10.4 G. So, I inserted a new USB 16G. The app clearly did not see this, even if it is recognized by the PC itself, no problem.

When I press 'create' to load the stick, the app just says: "the process of creation for all media was cancelled" is not only wrong spelling, but completely useless.

I do something wrong, ir is just a very poor app?

    Thank you very much...

  • Cannot create a recovery key USB media

Tried to create a recovery without success media. Many people here advocate the use of flash drives, but it does not come without its problems. I had a problem with a swipe of the sandisk Cruiser 32 gb... the manual says not to use the flash drive, if it is compatible with windows 8.1 which is not.

Yet it still hovers zip nothing and I formatted and tried to fat 32 and ntfs.

So what USB flash drives are really compatible? seems to be the next logical question.

Or what I can try without having to spend more money on players flash compaible.

    Appreciated

It seems the SanDisk Cruzer Glide you try to use may be compatible with Windows 8 and therefore may not work. Please try another USB stick 32 GB drive which is known to not be compatible with Windows 8.

  • Cannot create a recovery for my Satellite A300-1BZ CD

I tried to use the Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator repeatedly and with many different brands of discs to create the recovery disk.
However each time as the laptop is about to finish burning the disc, there is an error and the operation not can be completed.

I don't think there is a problem with the drive as I have used for many other things including watching movies without problem.
Could Toshiba please send me a recovery disk instead?
    Thank you

    > Could Toshiba please send me a recovery disk instead?
A mail recovery disk? Very interesting. Mailed 4 GB image is not so easy.

I don't know what you're doing, but if you want good tip then use Verbatim or TDK DVD-R blank media. For the DVD-R.
I have too many Satellite A300 and recovery DVD, I created successfully.
Do you use DVD-R virgins too?

  • C855-1VT satellite - cannot start media recovery disk

    Hello

I have the laptop above that was dumped on its edge causing the hard drive to the jam and fail.
This means no access to the system recovery, so I ordered arvato shop Toshibas Recovery Media recovery media.

I installed a new HARD drive has slipped into the recovery disc and boom, no bootable media insert system disk.

I tried the disc on other laptops, same thing, with no bootable media, but back to arvato who kindly sent me disks replacement... you guessed it... exactly the same thing so I put in my windows 7 install cd and it read the disc properly.

Arvato said they asked toshiba to check the image which they did and found no errors, but the stock of arvato could be faulty, I thought. in any case, they offered a refund which doesn't really help.

I may be missing something so this post hoping tosh guru of you might be able to help :)

    Thanks in advance,

    Night...

    Hello

Maybe the image is OK, but the CD/DVD drive cannot read the disc of Arvato.
What you could do is to copy this recovery disk to another disk using another computer.
Then you could try to start the device using the new disc copied.
    May be worth a try.

In addition, you can try after workaround:
Go to BIOS and check secure boot settings and the boot mode.
What are the settings appear in the BIOS?

I m application because you said you could boot from Win 7 disk, in this case secure boot must be disabled and the boot mode must be set between UEFI and MSC mode.

In case you want to install Win 8 secure boot must be enabled a UEFI should be used

  • Cannot create a recovery image

    Hello

I just bought a HP Pavilion x 2, it has a 64 GB SSD.  I want to create a recovery image using the HP utility but when I try, it fails. I think it is because there is not enough space on the Windows partition to create the image.  I have a USB drive connected with 27 GB of free but looks like it will create the image on the C drive, before you copy it to the USB drive. I don't want to remove my recovery partition until I know that I have another copy and I can't find anything else to uninstall to get the 14 GB I need (have 12 GB free). I have only had the tablet a few days so did not have much here, have uninstalled everything I put here except for the updates of Windows that I did. I erased the wimy file temp user profile.

Does anyone have ideas, what I can do?

    Thank you

    Juliet

Windows has its own tool to create a recovery disc in usb http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

  • Satellite Pro A300-28V - cannot create own recovery disks

Have a portable Satellite Pro A300-28V with Vista Business 32. After a HARD disk recovery partition recovery, I decided to use the PC function full system backup to make a picture for later retrieval with all my current settings. Too inconvenient for factory reset default (Thunderbird 3.0 Mail, Open Office and some other small applications already running no problem for years on another computer in the office).

The system needs 5 to 9 DVD and he wrote the first DVD. Takes about 30 minutes. Then, during the audit of this disc, it crashes. Audit bar stops at about 30% complete.
Anyone with this experience? No, the company "Complete PC Image" works well on an OEM of Vista installation?
Or maybe it's the DVD player in need of an update? I do not use a 3rd party burning software.

    Hello

What program you use to create your own recovery discs? For example, I mean Acronis, Norton Ghost, etc..

In your case I would try with another program like Nero or CD Burner XP burning.
In addition, you can try to remove upper and lower filters in the Windows registry, maybe that will work.

Finally, and especially on the Toshiba site, you can check if there is an update to the firmware of your CD/DVD drive.

  • Faced with a failure of OSD task sequence. The failure messages in the end are: failure to file WIM mount (0 x 80070002) & Failed to create media (0 x 80070002)

    Hello

Faced with a failure of OSD task sequence.

The failure messages in the end are:

    --------------------------------------------------

Has no file WIM mount 0 x 80070002

    Cannot create media 0 x 80070002

CreatTSMedia failed with error 0 x 80070002 details MediaGenerator

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It comes via SCCM 2007 R3 and a version of Windows XP.

I think 0 x 80070002 means "the system cannot find the file specified."

    But what file?

How do you determine what the media Wizard is missing to generate this error?

    Is this a driver problem?

    Thank you

  • Cannot create recovery media

Attempting to create a recovery media for my new laptop Toshiba L-500; I get the following error message:
    {Cannot read the following file.
    D:\ZZImages\ZZImages\PREINST13. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
    (Code d'erreur: 020150-20-00000000)}

This has happened while creating recovery disc 1 and disc 3... with the same error message. considering that the Recovery Disk 2 was created without any problem.
I tried burning the files again for discs 1 and 3, which could once again, but 2 disk has been created again successful without any problem.

    Please indicate the possible solution.
(4.7GB//120Min//16X used transonic DVD-R) to create Recovery Media Creator Toshiba recovery disks)

Try to use TDK or Verbatim DVD-R. I used these empty discs to create recovery discs on several different Toshiba laptops and every time everything was fine.

It seems crazy, but you may have problems using some some discs.

  • Re: Cannot create flash drives recovery media

I recently bought a new Toshiba NB305-N440BL and updated netboo to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Edition Premium. The Wizard "Create the recovery media", as suggested, I tried to create the recovery on two flash drives media. Flash memory were new and had never been formatted.

What program inserted the "wizard" said that necessary to format Flash drives, but when I asked it to be in format, the program said that there was a mistake and they could not be formatted. I then formatted drives using Windows Explorer Disk Manager, reinsert the readers and received the same "...". needs to be formatted, but wouldn't format... "message. I have also received "error 040E2D-00-00000000 code."

I have googled this error message and found two people who had the same problem with their Toshiba NET books when they attempted to create backup hardware. There are no answers to their requests for assistance. Is there another way to do back ups?

    Thank you

    Hey,.

Have you tested different USB keys and different brands?

On my laptop Satellite T also requires USB stick to create recovery media I used a USB 8 GB memory CN (Spaceloop XL) and this worked great! :)
