Cannot get Portege R100 to retrieve by using the original diskettes
I just brought my 2005 Portege R100 to retire to give one of the children - but it wouldn't start. I changed the boot CD-ROM order > LAN > HDD > PC Card and put the original recovery disks in the drive of DVD Toshiba genuine (and compatible).
The system starts the DVD player and then gives me the following messages:
No found record CD/DVD-ROM
Then he reads the source files in the A: drive and try to mount the PCMCIA drive
He then tells me it can't find the device driver "TOSCD001".
Invalid device CDROM drivers selected
Bad command or filename
Unable to copy the CD to RAM-drive C: drive!
All tips are welcome because the child looks forward to his laptop!
Thank you
Alan
Hello.
I guess you need a companion disc as described here
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB5100S70004R01.htm
You must boot from this floppy disk to load the driver for CD/DVD drive.

Recovery Manager cannot restore computer using the original image
Hello
I'm working on a Pavilion P6000 desktop series (WW639AA). Windows 7 (64 bit) does not load as it seems that his score is corrupt. I ordered a new restore disc (and additional floppy) HP to restore the hard disk. I tested the hard drive and all past. However, when I run the Recovery Manager and try to restore the computer, I get the following error:
«Recovery Manager cannot restore you computer using the original image.» Contact HP support. ' Error #0xe0ef000e.
All of the suggestions.
Thank you.
blewettjl,
A disk that has been 'cleaned' will have this error with HP rated DVD.
HP has a patch, called CyberLink Recovery disk utility: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-80183-1&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en

Stupid question CS6. How can I get rid of my experience after using the quick selection tool?
The best way would be to make sure that your layer is not a background layer: click the lock icon in this case. Then click the icon at the bottom of the layer panel layer mask. This will create a mask that you can refine and not be destructive.

Hello
I keep getting error messages when I use the computer. It started two days after you download an update from Windows. A sample of the error is:
C:\windows\system32\difxapi32.dll is not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.
I use a vista. I don't know how to solve this problem, many want to help.
Thank you.
Hi Colinthebrave:
Start with this little tool to help get rid of the error, once your system is stable again and then try to run your updates again.
Thank you for your message; Let us know how it goes.
o
o The System Restore tool
If the problem you are experiencing started occurring recently, you can use the System Restore tool. Using this tool, you can restore the computer to an earlier point in time. The tool using System Restore may not necessarily help you determine the problem. When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose another restore point and then click Next.
3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
4. click on finish.
The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

I have problems activating dreamweaver on new pc using the original activation code
I have a copy of StudioMX 2004 and had problems activating Dreamweaver on my new pc using the original code. It is said there is a network error, but it does not exist. When I try to activate by phone number they give is of insurance Lloyd's bank. I did a live chat with Support and they gave me a new code that has worked and enabled Dreamweaver but I didn't activate the fireworks at the same time. When I tried to use the new or the old code, I get the same error message and the same telephone number of Lloyds Bank. I tried the live chat, but they refuse to stop them from saying that they do not support Dreamweaver 2004... one of the ideas?
Have you seen this page with a number of activation for the old (very old) products?

Are you sure that MX2004 will work on your new operating system?

Can I use the original iPad Air 2 charger to charge my iPhone 6 Plus? It shortens the life of the battery of the phone?
Yes, you can. No, it won't. Apple sells this as compatible with the iPad and iPhone adapter.
And the phone does a little faster than with the phone adapter.

The last time I asked a question like that, someone made it is perfectly clear that they would not help me to crack a password..., three times. If you have any suggestions that may help me in fact, I'd be in your debt. Otherwise, save your time and ignore all this.
I am trying to perform a repair to the XP operating system. When I try to boot from the CD drive using the original Windows XP disc, I can not connect. It's a dead-end.
When I try to boot from the hard drive, the system reaches a certain point, and then it re-boots. If I just sit and watch, it keeps re-initialization. Strange thing is that recently, I changed the password. I simply do not remember what it is. And, seriously, I have experienced repeated amnesia episodes. The obvious thing to do is to keep my own hand written records..., I only using computers since 1982, before IBM introduced its first PC.
The BIOS provides a way to clean up all the stored passwords? This is where I'm going next.
I apologize for being a little rough. Part of that comes with age.
Jeff
Hello, Jeffrey. I just read one of your other threads. Brian Tillman brings a great point that you missed. The BIOS password (if it still exists) has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other passwords, including those for things like a Windows XP profile.
Unless you have created passwords, while they do not exist. So, if you need to boot from the Windows CD using the Recovery Console, and you are prompted for a password, then chances are that just by pressing the Enter key (indicating an 'empty' or empty password) is all you need to do.
So, if I were you, I would not at all concerned about your BIOS.
In addition, I think you mentioned that you couldn't even see the administrator account. Assuming you have Windows XP Home Edition, this is how it is supposed to be. If you want to see it, you will need boot mode safe. Then you will see. :-)
If you DID create a password and have no idea of what it is, there are tools to reset your password. But I think that people don't post links to these programs in these forums Microsoft (not very well why). But they are easy to find if you use a search engine.
You say that you have recently changed a password, but you did not indicate what it was for. It is important to understand that the built-in Administrator account is NOT the same as another account that you are using happens to have administrator privileges. And assuming that you never set a password for the built-in Administrator account, so if you are using the Recovery Console, everything you need to do is press the Enter key.
HTH.

Use the original Windows XP Home Edition CD to reinstall
I lost my cd of windows xp home edition, Microsoft sent me another copy. Now that I moved I lost the copy, but I found my original. Now I have to fix my turn, is it safe to use my old copy. Or I have to format the tower all over again?
* original title - Microsoft has sent a copy of windows xp at home, now I lost that one, I found my original copy, I can still use it *.
Use 'The Original' with the original product key. For OEM versions, the product key sticker is one on the side of the tower case. Commercial versions have the key of product inside the box.
Insofar as you are using the CD, you must do a "repair installation", the CD must be at the same level service pack as what is installed on the tower.
Create a "Slipstreamed" of integrating XP SP3 version
AutoStreamer, it is easy to use and for the most part explicit.
After you create the CD then do a "clean install", see the last part

Help, please!
I started my computer today and it came with this error:"sidebar.exe - incorrect image.

Windows/System32/SFC.dll is not designed to run on windows or it contains and error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator. Also I got an error report saying that windows sidebar stopped working.
My computer is VERY slow in all the commands I give.
I also tried to run the sfc (System File Checker command) and acts like he is going to run the program, but then just closed.Do you have an idea what is happening with my computer and what I can do to fix this?
Thank you very much!
Hi deacon829,
You did changes to the computer before that happened?
Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists, to do this, follow the steps below,
Access the menu advanced startup options by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. In the advanced startup options select safe mode
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
Step 2: If you try to install any application before this program, try to uninstall them.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program
If this solves the problem, you can deduct that the demand is probably corrupted, damaged or incompatible. You can check with the manufacturer of the program for more information.
Step 3: System Restore: System Restore to put the computer's system files to an earlier point in time.
Look for steps to restore of the system in the link below:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-system-restore
If the problem persists,
Step 4: A scanner online for any threat and try to correct

Thank you, and in what concerns:

I have Photoshop CS5 student/teacher edition. The computer on which it was installed just rebuilt. Can I reinstall using the original serial number 5 years ago?
Yes. It is a perpetual license. The serial number will work as long as you have the hardware and the operating system to run the software.
Download the installer from Adobe's CS5, install, then enter your serial number.

Portege R100 crashes after installation of the graphics driver Vista
Hello world.
I tried to put Vista on my R100 and surprisingly that everything works well. However, the only thing that's not the driver graphic. He moved very well and watch as signed but the machine hangs all the time when using the driver.
When you use the standard vga driver in windows, all right, but obviously you can not watch movies or whatever it is coz of the pilot garbage.
any ideas people?
Thank you
Rob
Hello
I put t know where you found the driver for Portege M100 Vista because I just checked the page of the Toshiba Vista driver and did not find the graphics drivers for Vista!
AFAIK the R100 uses a Trident XP4m32 with 32 MB of video memory graphics card.
You search for vista for this graphics card driver or you will use the standard graphic driver.
In my opinion, you should be a happy man because you were able to install Vista on your laptop and it works with the standard graphics driver.
As much as I know this laptop is not vista capable and I don t think you will be able to use it with a maximum return.
