Cannot install iTunes on 11 HP flow

I just bought a HP flow 11 and I had a lot of trouble trying to install iTunes 12.3.2. When it's done downloading I clicked to try to get the program to run, but shows a pop-up up that says, "this application can run on your PC. To find a version of your PC, check with the software publisher. »

iTunes should install and run fine on a 11 as long stream that you have enough room to install it on the C: drive.  For all but the most banal of libraries, you will need to use an SD card to expand the storage or have your library on an external/USB hard drive.  I'm running on a stream 13 (essentially the same machine with a larger screen) with my library on a 2 TB USB 3.0 drive and can even run iTunes on the 7 Tablet flow.

Based on recent reports, the error you see can be associated with an incomplete download or corrupted Installer.  I would try to download the file again - for the current version of iTunes (12.3.2.35) and the size of the file should be:

  • the file size of 64 - bit - iTunes6464Setup.exe - 167,608,088 bytes

    Hello kev1234567,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

I suggest that you download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to here.
You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

Once you have opened the Windows Installer Cleanup utility, it will fill all the programs installed on your computer by Windows Installer. Select iTunes and then click on the button Delete. It deletes all corrupted files or incomplete iTunes from your computer. Then remove the Hello and QuickTime. They will be both installed with iTunes again.

NOTE: iTunes Store purchases or songs imported from CDs are saved in your my default music folder and are not deleted by removing iTunes.

Then go to Apple.com and download the latest version of iTunes and try the installation again. You should now be successful in installing iTunes.

If you're still having problems, please refer to the support of Apple records: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923

    I hope this helps.

    Sincerely,

If please reply back and let us know if this helps solve your problem or if you still need help.
