  I'm not sure what actually happened, its all suddenly I am limited to open most any platform of navigation Web sites.

  On Chrome, if I try to open "stackoverflow", it says:

  This site is not reachable

  StackOverflow.com refuses to connect.

  ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

  Done with Safari, it simply returns:

  Safari cannot connect to the server

  However, it support other websites like google, Apple and a few others.

  When I "ping" the terminal or start in 'safe' mode, it works perfectly there.

  I did search google for that matter, but none were useful:

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select Preferences

  4. find the Extensions tab

  5 disable all extensions of

  6. relaunch Safari

  This issue clarified itself with the two latest updates for Vista and I'm happy to announce that the mouse now works correctly. In the excitement, I forgot to mention that when I got to the office as a whole, the mouse was working ok, it scrolls up and down like a champion. Something needs to happen with a Vista update just before the question because I think remember me that he updated and then I noticed the problem. I'll keep the office install now and make sure that when I noticed something like this again after an update using see and system restore if that works.   It is an XFA file that is not detected by the PDF viewers in the web browser.

  Please right click on this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1344E.pdf & select ' Save As... ', now, to save the PDF file to your desktop & open with Adobe Reader.

  I'm sure that it will work as it worked on my end.

  Look at your site settings...

  1. go to Site > Manage Sites, and then click the site that you are trying to work with

  2. click on edit

  3. under servers, click the remote server

  4. click on change

  5. under Basic, you must have your FTP address (usually yoursitename.com for GoDaddy, it can sometimes be an IP address with other hosting companies), your username and password, then the root directory

  6. under the root directory, make sure that you have one of the two /public_html/ or httpdocs / (call GoDaddy to check the type of server that you are using so that you get the right root)

  7. test the connection

  8. If it works, when you connect using the window files expanded (with the server on the files and from left to right) you should see a list of files, including your index.html, some GD files formmailer.php and missing.html page and all the rest of your current site files.

  9. If you see this list, click on Get and DW should prompt you with "Get entire site?

  10. click on Yes and the entire site will be downloaded to your machine. From there, open the file locally, edit and download

• A particular Web site tab always opens in the left sidebar

  When I click on bookmark LSC icon in my toolbar, this site opens in the sidebar on the left of my computer screen. This sidebar WILL NOT CLOSE when I try to access any other Web site. It's really annoying.

  Opening in the sidebar is the default value for the bookmarks created via a link or a button on a Web site.
  You can view the properties of a bookmark using the context menu in the side bar (Ctrl + B; Command + B on Mac).
  In the Bookmark Manager (Bookmarks > show all bookmarks) you can click on the button more in the lower details pane on the right.
  Make sure "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

  I can play a video, but cannot pause. Audio files give the error: "failed to listen to video because the file is corrupt."
  I think these are flash videos of base but not 100% sure.
  If I try Google Chrome, I can view all content correctly (videos play/pause properly, audio works fine).

  It would be easier to just use Chrome, but I think perhaps to draw attention to this could help improve Firefox somehow.

  A particular website does not load, and I was previously able to view this site about 2 weeks ago. It's a free WordPress site/blog.

  I keep getting the error message "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I've tried deleting all cookies and emptying the cache with no success. I also tried a "DNS Flusher" with the same result.
  

  I followed all the recommendations on the link using Firefox and checked the FAQ and community sections with no luck.

  I can view the page in Safari. The owner of the website can view this website using a configuration similar to mine (Mac OS 10.5, Firefox 12.0).

  Nothing I know have changed since I was able to view this site 2 weeks ago for example, I'm not going through a proxy server, nor do I have any secondary security or anti-virus running.

  Any help would be appreciated.
