  I have installed and configured the services foundation, eas and essbase in windows 2003 server, afteEA r configuration I have observed that there are no tables for eas schema then I found that it was a bug and applied patch and set up again it has been successfully configured.

  When I tried to connect to the administration via the regional service console server. He States unable to connect to the administration server. everything else works.

  I see only 4 services in services.msc

  Oracle hyperion configuration manager

  EMP web server application

  opmn services

  OSH services

  all services are started with the exception of oracle hyperion configuration manager. I tried to start, but it does not start... is - this service has an impact on the administration server.

  I checked the logs, I can't find anything in easserver.log.

  any suggestions?

  Looks like you have deployed web applications to a single managed server that is running on a port by default of 9000, then try to add the server to the Regional service as servername:9000

  Please check the Log-In of credentials of the user that has been created by you to connect to the Regional service Console.

  User must have administrator credentials.

  I'm stuck with not being able to see one of my applications in the Regional service Console. I created an EPMA and a classic application and I created Essbase cubes for each of them. I have also successfully connected to my server Essbase in the Regional service Console. However when I click on the sign near the Applications node under my Essbase Server located under the node Servers Essbase in the Vision of the Regional service Console, + who + sign simply disappears and no applications appear. I would be very grateful for any advice on what is wrong in my situation! Thanks in advance!

  First connect them all with admin in EAS, then expand the essbase server, right-click security right and update the security of shared services to all users.
  Remove the essbase server in EA
  Add a new essbase server, make sure that it is checked to use external authentication and enter your account details.

  We have created business rules for our planning application using Calc Manager and they work very well.

  But my doubt is that calculations do appear in the essbase.

  WT could be the reason for this... Please suggest.

  The Regional service console will show you only the calculation scripts, not the rules for calculation of the Manager. This is a technical limitation.

  Prior to version 11.1.2.3, we also had business rules. These were available in the Regional service console. Then, you had a section in the view of the company next to Administration, servers Essbase called Business Rules. I usually call them Hyperion Business rules (HBR) because users easily get confused with all the scripts and rules.

  In planning, you can see the calculation scripts and rules for calculation of the Manager.

  We use version Hyperion 11.1.2.1. I faced a new problem in Regional service console. The Essbase Cluster-1 node in the service console Regional expanding not when I tied to drilled her. For this reason, I am unable to view the applications, calculation scripts, etc. We need to run calc scripts and to add new members in the application.  Any body experienced this before? Kindly guide me to solve this problem issue.

  If you use the web console EAS, then make sure you are using a supported Java version, if it is supported, and then try adding the server essbase with the hostname instead of cluster.

When I start the Console of Essbase Administration Services, I get the next error * "error - 1042006 - network [111]: unable to connect to [localhost:1423]." The customer has expired waiting to connect to Essbase Agent using the TCP/IP protocol. Check your network connections. Also make sure that this server and port are correct. * Please guide me to solve this problem.

  Follow the steps below.

  * 1. Open the Windows registry (Start--> Run--> RegEdit). *

  * 2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters.*

  * 3. Add new DWORD value named "TcpTimedWaitDelay."
  -Right click and select Edit
  -Select "Décimal" radio button, type 30.

  * 4. Add new DWORD value named "MaxUserPort."
  -Right click and select Edit
  -Select "Décimal" radio button, type 65534

  * 5. A restart of the server (reboot the Hyperion related Services) is cas.*

  Recently, we upgraded to Hyperion EPM version 11.1.1.4 (Miantenance release) 11.1.1.3 version. When we try to open the Console to service Regional via URL, it is opening another window to download easconsole.jnlp. We have downloaded the JRE 1.5 and 1.6 also, but it still gives the same question. Pls advice

  Well, if the problem is that I think that, when you try to open the EAS Web Console you will have just a message box asking what you want with the file open or save, and when you open the message box refreshes all simply. If that's true, save the file to, say, your desktop, go to your desktop and right-click on the file and open. It says that Windows cannot open the file etc etc. Click Select a program from a list... then place you where is your record of hava and select Javaws.exe (Java Web Start). For example, mine is here, but you may need to search:

  C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaws.exe

  Make sure that "always use this program...". "is checked.

  When combined, restart your connection to the console and it should be ok

  I deployed Hyperion EPM 11.1.2.3 on VMware Workstation 10 with Windows Server 2008 R2 with Embedded HTTP of WebLogic Server. Deployment and configuration completed successfully.

  I have the latest Java 7 is installed.

  I can connect in the workspace, but at the launch of Regional service to http://localhost:9000/easonsole/console.htmlconsole I get the following error:

  We have an export of all data to a database with 11 pag files (2 GB each). We used the feature console of regional service for this purpose.

  I just wonder do we also get the same amount as txt files or is generally smaller export? It seems to take a while to get the made export.

  We have exported some time before Level0 coming out for a database with more than 30 cases of pag and it produces a txt file which was less than 1 GB in size. Also used time was very short.

  In this case we did not know that it would be fair enough to export data of Level0 then import it back and recalculate.

  Oh, I forgot, the version is 9.3.3

Since then, we were not able to to connect/start of any application, including the WebLogic Server. In the oracle database, I found a papper «logic of starting web» about me They said that the security file is damaged and I followed the steps to recreate the security file (cwallet.sso) and then all the started application works well except the easconsole. When I try to connect it shows the message "failed to connect".
  
  I would like to say that until the drive became fully all my application worked well. It comes to my development environment. My EAS Server works well because I am able to connect using the easconsole of my production environment.
