  In fact - what HP means without out and say what they deem a legacy device (printer) and even if they included a universal driver (Microsoft put in Windows 7) and it should work without doing you anything else - it is perhaps not fully functional as it was in previous operating systems where they (HP) it supported.

  HP in this case is the manufacturer of the equipment and in all related case material - the hardware manufacturer is responsible for the materiel support (drivers, software, etc.)

  You can follow the advice of HP, if you want to:

  Install the driver with Windows Update with a USB connection (downloadable Driver is not available)

  But really what they're trying to say is, "your printer is old - buy a new one from us so that we can stay in business."

I have a wireless home network with my Photosmart 7350 connected to my desktop computer that is still running XP. The wizard sees the printer and adds but cannot print a test page. He says that it is waiting, then the print job disappears. I downloaded the Vista driver for the printer. When I run the troubleshooter, it cannot determine the problem. No surprise as convenience stores rarely did help. I got around the problem by sending documents to the desktop so far and then print it from there, but it gets old. Any ideas?

  I suggest a different manual uninstall. Then use our printer HP install wizard for Windows for a re - install.

  It was very probably administrator rights on the computer, since you had to go around adding to full access to the temp folder. When logged on with administrator rights, you shouldn't do this step.

  The network port in a home environment with a router, usually is TCP/IP.

  • Check the physical connections
  • Restart the print spooler
  • Uninstalled drivers form old printers
  • Unplugged printer, driver uninstalled, installed updated, plugin printer driver
  • Printing without paper, lack of paper is not detected
  • Ran HP print and Scan Doctor, fixed an issue with print queue

  The problem is that when printing with a limited account, administrator accounts are able to print.

  The account via the display panel > user accounts and created a new. It is now print again, but I lost all my favorites and other information. Only the files that were saved were Desktop and My Documents.
