Cannot receive an outside call

Hi all!

We have such a problem. We have an infrastructure of control VCS, VCS Expressway and MCU. VCS Expressway has dual NIC option enabled; 1 LAN has an internal IP, LAN 2 - public IP address (without NAT).

Two VCS are configured according to manual)

( http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs/config_guide/Cisco_VCS_Basic_Configuration_Control_with_Expressway_Deployment_Guide_X7-2.pdf), with the exception of the settings NAT and firewall - we do not have.

When we call for our network internal (for example [email protected] / * /) to the Organization of foreigners ([email protected] / * /)-everything is ok. But we cannot receive calls from outside.

An external DNS is also configured according to manual, domain name of VCE Expressway is external can be solved.

You have any ideas what may be wrong? Thanks in advance.

What exactly do you see in the newspaper of the network? Can paste you it here? (Be sure to hide sensitive information such as addresses IP, etc.).

It does not appear that you have created the SRV records required, such as

_h323ls._udp.

_h323cs._tcp.

_sip._tcp.

_sips._tcp.

at least I'm not able to look up one of these SRV from here.

Have 2 comcast email accounts. 5 days ago, that both has ceased to receive emails through Thunderbird on my laptop. They work on the comcast site. As if by magic one of the email accounts started getting yesterday - no problem.

The other is still "stuck" and DO NOT receive emails via Thunderbird on my laptop; I can send emails without problem. Of course, it's my main email account. Comcast checked the settings and could find no problem on their end. Gave me that a number of their center of insurance of security but so far cannot get them to take my call. sigh seems strange to work and the other does not; essentially same settings for both.

    Help appreciated.

This would indicate that the problem is at the end of Comcast.

  • Are you aware of fraudulent callers purporting to represent Microsoft? I received a phone call from a man claiming that he was calling on my MS Windows System.

I received two telephone calls from a seller who claims to represent Microsoft saying that my computer was "unwanted download."  He has given two different names for him society, something like 'Windows provider Services' the first time and was the call from a blocked number.  He directed me to some information in my System Manager (right click on computer, then Event Viewer) who recorded downloads of updates to MSWindows (lucky I knew what I wanted to).  I wanted Microsoft to know that there were people claiming to be outside suppliers working for MS calling and giving misleading information.  I do not see who to contact about this, so I'm posting this information here, hoping someone will pass this along to the appropriate Microsoft part.

I had my Windows operating system from a seller so I knew from the start (before even that I was their number has been blocked) that I was dealing with a fraud, but the guy was very persistent and had an accent of the Indian subcontinent, so if I didn't it would have been pretty convincing.
In any case, I hope that this help catch the guy.

This is a very common scam, many people have reported what happens to them recently on here, your chance that you could avoid to do this,

  • Can send emails, but cannot receive the get Mail error ID: 0x8DE00002

    Original title: Windows Live mail

    First timer. Windows Live mail. I can send emails but cannot receive them. The following error occurs;

Can't send or receive messages on behalf of Hotmail.co (rosspriory).

    Server error: 4402
    Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x8DE00002

Unlike what the error message says, I can send emails. Only, I don't get all using Windows Live mail

I can access the web version and it sends and receives e-mail messages. But I find the flaky web version, to say the least.

My only problem is how to find my way in this forum?

    Do not laugh!

    Server error: 4402

This error is often associated with folders created by the user. I seem to remember that a user facing this error discovered that he had reached the upper limit on the number of files. Is this possible? There is a maximum number of folders created by the user regardless of the nesting level, and I think it's 128. Otherwise, check that the files that you see in Windows Live Mail are identical to those that you see at http://mail.live.com. If you have recently added a folder, empty it by moving its contents into a folder under storage folders, and then remove it.

The program log shows where the error arises. Registration is enabled on the page of Maintenance program options, you can get to by pressing Ctrl-Shift-O for Options when displaying your message list. You will see the button of the Maintenance on the Advanced tab and logging for the different modes is selected at the bottom of the page. The newspaper itself, it's a text file called WindowsLiveMail.log and he lives in the root of your storage folder. The location of this folder is given under the storage folder on the same maintenance page.

You will later need to remove Windows Live Mail account, and then add it again back to restore the synchronization between the client and server relationship. Because this may involve a lot of re - download messages, this is the last resort. He might have to wait until your account has been reset to the level of the server, which would require the intercession of a support worker. Let's try the less memorable potential remedies first.

I don't think that repair or uninstall and reinstall the program will have any effect on this server error.

  • BlackBerry 8830 smartphones cannot receive mms

One of my friends cannot receive mms. Msg says connect vzw to see. Is there a setting somewhere to change the handset, or is the only way to contact the carrier? She is paying for unlimited services, seems a little ridiculous that she can get only the photos by e-mail on BES.

The MMS function is managed by the carrier, not for the device, call your carrier and ask why a MMS function does not work.

  • Volume icon appears at random then spend or receive the phone call

    Hello

Without doubt, I went through all the threads it are on the theme of the volume icon, but have not found anything that fits my 'problem '. I have an iPhone SE and sometimes when I make or receive a phone call the grey volume icon appears on the screen. I attributed it to the apps from third-party such as IMDB or Facebook but tried various scenarios and honestly can't pin it down to a specific. Someone at - it a similar problem? To be honest, it's quite annoying to see the gray icon volume pop up like this out of nowhere. I should add that all is well in terms of volume and the volume keys. No clue as to what causes this problem?

    Peace,

    Wojtek

How do you know that all is well with the volume keys? They can work properly (increase or decrease in volume when you press on), but there might be a problem with the hardware with them or the mute button.

Make an appointment on the Apple store and bring the phone to be checked.

But there may be other software here?

    Hello

What software do you mean exactly?

As far as I know that the MobiLink was preinstalled on some units Portege M400.
    This software supports these features:
Send and receive SMS, composition and read TEXT messages in several languages, compose and send to multiple recipients, the mobile contacts address book support, Rich edit for the launch of URL and Email using embedded addresses.

As you can see that you can not use this software to make calls!

Almost certainly, it was a scam and with various names and phone
numbers, one that has become very common these days. See

In addition to their money get on your part to do anything of any value,
If you leave them in your computer, who knows what they were doing or where
    What confidential information they stole.

So if you have done so, I highly recommend that you do both of the following
    immediately:

1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.

    2. after reinstallation of Windows, change all your passwords.
    especially the banks or other
    financial sites.

Since they have perhaps installed a recorder of strikes, changing just your
Passwords may not be good enough.
