Cannot return once I closed [and reopened] program

I scoured the boards for hours and I can't find my solution. I hope that someone has experienced this problem.

When I close a project, even as simple as indicated (with a clip, corrector of fast color just applied), I can't make it when I reopen it. When I created the project for the first time, I was cutting, application of effects and rendered without problem.

Changes of combining images / nesting make no difference. I deleted temporary files on my computer.

I've done several projects (with more than one clip, of course) on this computer.

System

Windows 8.1

8 GB RAM

Intel i7 2.00 GHz

Any thoughts on what could be the solution? Thanks for any help!

Well, it looks like the 4 k images was too much for my system. I created a new sequence on a clip of 1080 (since you can't change the settings with my setup for a reason any) and added my 4 k sequences to the chronology of the hd. Runs smooth. So, I guess I just need to use an HD clip whenever I have change a project. :/

  • How can I get a folio by default for the cover page when the application is closed and reopened.

The folio I do is a kind of 'show and tell' the thing, it must be pretty linear so a top of page from the cover of every time that it is open and then can be read through. I know it's easier than just using nav to return to the cover, but people that I do this to have knowledge of 0 and 0 willingness to learn, therefore, I would the folio to return to the front page, whenever the content viewer is closed and then reopened.

I had to work on a previous iteration, but on my last version, he remembers what page I'm on when I reopen it the Viewer (logical and practical I know but not in this case).

  • Print templates do not work correctly when you change the orientation - prints come out with no dye if I closed and reopened LR

I have two main models I use, their use for just the month without problem on a mac, you have a PC and installed CC in Lightroom, but he has decided that she wants to be stupid. This product only when I move a model oriented portrait in a landscape oriented one or vice versa. Sometimes I can fix it by exchanging between many different models and more and all of a sudden he finds himself again and I'm good to go. I * could * close and reopen Lightroom but it mucks up to printing, the model goes back to normal, but the next draw will be missing a color completely. Its a big waste of ink when a set of my inks costs $500. I'm on a PC and have the latest installed version of LR. I have attached the screencaps. Some would like TO help on this issue.both.jpg

To anyone who has this problem, Adobe fixed it for me. When and only when the model is displayed correctly (usually on start-up LR) then right-click on this model and choose "Update with current settings". As the models were created on my mac for a reason any PC did not want to make them work properly. They will be working always once start LR so this should be an opportunity for you to correct!

  • Firefox open tabs after I have closed and reopened

Whenever I open Firefox, the program opens several tabs that I had searched and reviewed a few months ago. I tried to disconnect correctly in Firefox. I also uninstalled the Firefox program and all its components and reinstalled the program. I met the same results. All tabs open everytime I open Firefox. I was happy with Firefox and don't want to give up on the program. Please help me.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the profile folder of Firefox that store session data.

Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and groups of tabs open and closed tabs (back) to get lost and you will have to re-create them (take note or bookmarks if possible).

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

App Tabs are supposed to stay open, available whenever you open FF4. They are not. I have make them and close. When I reopen it, they aren't there. I can't find anything to find them. 'Help' does not recognize "tab app" at all, despite my version being listed as 4.0.1.

  • The Explorer does not collapse 'Libraries' and 'User' to the closing and reopening of the records.

This is a rather minor annoyance, but it seems every time that a user develops their folder 'User' and farm explore, Explorer will continue, opening with the folder 'User' expanded until they reduce manually.

Part of the computer is to be efficient as possible, and when I open explore to find the folder of the user is developed, pushing "Computer" and "Drive C:" out of the box, I think it's pretty boring.

Vista always collapsed the "User" folder, then why isn't Windows 7 do as well?

Is it possible to disable this behavior? I already looked through Group Policy, but until now, I had no chance.

I found a working answer to the Microsoft web site. A record appropriate to the real problem-solvers to the destination address.

There is a registry key that captures the State of the State of opening and closing of the main files in the Explorer on the left Nav-component, which can be set in the left of the Explorer, Explorer closed to set the key "reg", then the value of reg key manually turned to unalterable. Now when you open occasionally these folders as Favorites or your user ID (or several program file is more problematic / parameters of the open dialog box will open your user folder), after having turned regkey unalterable, when Explorer or application of file dialog box is closed, the expanded NavPane records regkey is not re-written, staying at your preferred expanded state / collapsed.

State information about the left NavPane of Explorer are stored in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Modules\NavPane registry key. If you delete the value of registry ExpandedState, the next time you open the browser it will show the tree 'by default' State.

A user also wrote a batch text file (so you can see each line of code to see what it does) to allow you to explore the value as you wish, then turn to the State of NavPane read-only to preserve the State indefinitely. The batch script also allows you to reset the features to windows default (turn the read/write registry key) and so on.

Here is the link to the site of Microsoft with all the details and the script file:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/Windows/en-us/48ebc898-290D-405f-b4d5-c3dc72278b76/collapse-all-foldertrees-when-closing-Explorer

    ---------------------------------------

As a feature add-on to what precedes, I understand this info because the comma/space syntax is different for Win7 vs. WinXP / other versions which is well documented on the web sites. This sytnax opens the Explorer to your file preferred, separate records that are expanded / collapsed with the answer provided to the direct question of this thread, but usually directly related to the objective of opening explore according to your specific needs.

Here are the command line parameters to further open Explorer to a directory preferred in Win7 32-bit Home Premium. Create a shortcut with this command as a target line: C:\Windows\explorer.exe explore/e/root, / select "C:\". ","C:\PreferredDataDir ".

Replace C:\PreferredDataDir with of course your favorite directory, including only a reference to the root of C:\ or a different drive letter if you prefer on a subdirectory. The specified root option still allows access to drive E: etc, unlike the desired effect added to the possibility of limiting traffic only within the specified root, which may work on other versions of Windows.

  • Closing and reopening the workstation with running virtual machines

I have recently upgraded to 10 Workstation and I am having a strange problem. In preferences, I have checked option which says "continue to VMs run after the closure of workstation. In workplace planned 9 this option worked exactly, but workstation 10 seems that partially works as expected. In Workstation 9 I could close my computer, and then open then in from the tray icon to always see my virtual machines running with the small green icon play on them. However, in the 10 workstation I close the workstation and all my virtual machines continue to run, but when I reopen it workstation all my virtual machines appear in the workstation as if they are off; but they run because I can RDP for them. If I right click on one of them all is grey with the exception of mark it as a favorite and delete. I can't power off, change the settings, see the console, or anything like that. The shows the icon that VMs are being run, but even suspend, stop or suspend tray icon options or background open VMs do not work either. The only way I found actually to get my computer working again is to use the Task Manager to kill the task of vmware - vmx.exe. As soon as the task is killed for each workstation running, they operate again in the workstation.

If anyone has encountered this problem, or know a fix for this? I have run several virtual machines and never have any idea that vmware - vmx.exe is for what VM when needing to change something on one of them. I make sure that I can kill them all in order to make a change to one of them.

    David Moore

Ok. I have this problem. However, the fix has been an awareness in desperate need of repair. I ended up uninstalling the VMware Workstation and then remove all references to the registry with REGEDIT. I then restarted the computer and reinstalled VMware Workstation again. After this heavy treatment, it works again the way it should work. It seems that the upgrade to the latest version of Workstation 9 to the latest version of 10 break something somewhere.

By the way, Dayworker, it was and is version 10.0.3.

  • When I closed and reopened my PC all my previous mail disappears. How can I stop this?

With outlook, all mails have been identified, when I started the PC, now when I run Thunderbird starts with empty folders outside of "Deleted".

How can I keep all messages in the po box until I delete them

IMAP e-mail accounts show a remote view of the files on the server. These e-mails are kept on the server. You subscribe to a folder. Then when TB starts and it will show you the folders subscribed and you select to read an email, the content of this file is downloaded in a temporary cache on your computer so that it is faster to retrieve other emails in this folder. When you close TB, the cache is deleted as well.

You can also choose to synchronize your folders. In this case, a copy of the folder and e-mail messages are downloaded to your computer and stored in the folders of your profile and you can access it in a State 'offline '. However, when you make changes, alter, move, delete etc, whereas this folder synchronizes with the file on the server and update it so that the two copies are the same.

In your case, it seems that you have created an IMAP e-mail account, but have not subscribed to the records.

By default, Thunderbird showing only subscribed folders. It's a way to manage the background image when you have a lot of remote folders and you don't want to see all of them in the files pane.

You are subscribed to a folder by right clicking the remote Inbox, selecting "Subscribe", developing the tree view of the Inbox in the window, and subscribing whatever files you want.

You can configure it to display all folders by unchecking the checkbox to "tools-> account settings-> Server settings-> advanced-> IMAP-> show only subscribed folders".

Here are some links to good information about IMAP mail accounts.

  • 100% poster 1% after the form is saved and reopened

I have a numeric field with display and change the template to {zero} | num.percent}. It works exactly as I want, with one important exception. If the user enters 100, the form displays properly as 100%. However, after the form is saved, closed and reopened, the value of this field appears in the form of 1%. This only happens with 100% (that is, if the user enters 25, it shows that 25% even after the form is closed and then reopened). Any idea how I can get the 100% to display properly after the backup? I've exhausted all options.

Never mind... I had a rogue code that was causing the problem.
