cannot revert to English the first installation

I just bought the M252dw. The first initialization of the on-board display, I touched french by mistake. Now, I cannot complete the initialization process because the led screen instructions are entirely in french. I can't go back to 'home' because pressing on the icon of the House does nothing and the screen is permanently blocked to 'reset '.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

If you can return to the home screen, if you please, try the following:

Move the screen to the left and tap the image of the machine.

Then press the picture of the machine again. (Service installation)

Then tap the first condition in the list. (Language)

Select the desired language.

Then tap Yes.

If you are still not able to access the settings of the printer, please Contact the HP Support for help. I don't have the reset available for this model. Check the model number and the form to receive a file number for faster assistance.

    I suggest that you follow these steps.
     
    Step 1:
     
    First of all, download and install .net Framework Cleanup Tool to remove selected versions of the .NET Framework on your computer.
     
    Step 2:
     
    Manually install the versions of Microsoft .NET Framework below:
     
     
    Once this installation is complete, try to install the other required software and check.

    I try to use the Microsoft Office tool that implement an MSI for 64-bit Office 2010 installation file.  The tool works file and creates the msi file.  I get to the tool by going to the x 64-bit folder on the office 2010 installation disc.

    I install a new virtual machine from Windows 7 and tried to use the MSI file to install office 2010 and I get the error:

    "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded is may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program"

    If I just click Setup on the office 2010 dvd he moved very well on the same VM window7.

    Does anyone have an idea how do to understand why the windows installer keep fails or what he wants?

    If I click on the msi even on a system with office 2007 is installed, I get the same error.

  • Satellite L500-1ZR - battery died during the first installation

    I really hope someone can help me.

    During the first time I started my new Toshiba Satellite L500-1ZR battery died and my laptop turns off. I was in the middle of the installation and now when I start it, it gives a word of warning: "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error." Windows Setup cannot continue. To install Windows, click OK to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. "However, when I click OK it restarts and I find myself the exact same caveat. I tried F2 and F12 to see if he had options to do a startup repair and also I inserted a disc on which I downloaded a hardware configuration, but it won't work.

    Anyone got some ideas on how to solve this problem?

    The advanced boot menu, you can access via the F8 key before Windows starts.
    With the F2 and F12 button, you can access the BIOS menu and start.

    So try to use the F8 key to access the Windows Advanced Boot menu and try to start the Windows repair option. It starts from Toshiba HARD drive recovery and restore settings factory.

  • The first Installation fails after first Boot of the Satellite L750

    Hello.

    I turned on my brand-new Satellite L750 - 04K 010 for the first time tonight (bought new) and start going through the initial setup process for Windows 7 Home Premium. The installation must "Installing devices" and then hung up without activity for about 2 hours, how I decided to restart.

    Then I kept getting the error windows installation has failed and would then need to restart the installation process. The computer will restart but kept coming up with the same error and the loop would continue even once.

    I have not received the installation discs.

    I tried to press F8 to see if the computer repair would work but only gave options to repair the system to a previous state. No Toshiba option was available.

    Help!

    It's pretty stupid situation now.
    If there is no way to launch the installation of recovery once again I recommend your dealer and ask for help. With other words, ask for the replacement of the laptop.

    What you can also do is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and explain the situation. I put t know what they can do for you, but I imagine that you will get a DVD of recovery for the installation of the OS.

    Of course I n don't know what the right solution, but I don't see another option for you.

  • Cannot install VMWare tools on first installation of VMW Player for Windows

    Y at - it a tip to install VMWare Tools on VMW Player for Windows.  Tried as a Player 7.1.1 and 6.0.5.

    I downloaded the "darwin" and "windows versions" of tools with version management for versions of reader (for Player 6.05 6.05 tools).  But I don't know how to get VMWare to see downloaded files.  I connected the darwin.iso in the folder of the payload for the CD/DVD drive under settings of the virtual computer.

    I always get a dialog box with this message when I select install VMWare Tools in the menu:

    "Cannot find component on the update server. Contact VMware Support or your system administrator. »

    If you have the appropriate iso image attached to the guest, you have no need to use the "Install VMware Tools" menu - it's all that.  Go to comments and run the installation from the CD-ROM drive.

    As the primary diagnosis, try to remove the file opm.db once and check.

    Launch the Task Manager, to terminate any process like the creative cloud, CoreSync Adobe related to... etc.

    Then follow the procedure below:

    Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) with the key R together at once, you will get a command window.

    Type below command and press the enter"" key.

    AppData

    It will open the Appdata folder.

    Then go to the Local > Adobe > OOBE. OOBE folder and delete "' Opm.db ' file."

    Once you had deleted opm.db fIsland, relaunch the application Adobe Creative Cloud and check.

    There was only 1 answering machine on my previous post, and didn't us get any where.  His response was to start the installation with the switch to NO search of WebEx service.  When I pointed out that we must seek to WebEx Messenger, but that our usernames for Messenger and WebEx meetings are separate, the thread is dead.

    Is there anyone who can tell me how to install Jabber for Windows 11.5 so that the user is not EXCLUDED to change the username on a new install?

    We have installed just 11.5 Jabber on a couple of new corporate machines (Win7 using Skype as IM Corp)

    We have a Jabber ongoing performance using WebEx Messenger driver, so we have no SSO or AD integration.

    After a clean installed Jabber with no switch and no custom URL (we just downloaded CiscoJabberSetup.msi for v11.5 and ran in the download on the machine folder) the screen to connect comes but the user name is already filled so it is GREY you can change.  The format is our corporate email address.  We are also no "Reset Jabber" option in the file menu. Which is gray as well.

    Then, we took another machine and installed from the command line with that for options:

    "msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi CLEAR = 1 CLICK2X = DΘSACTIVER"

    Same question.

    So, where is Jabber pulling these usersnames and why we can not change it?  Why does "Reset jabber" clothes outside too?

    I have a feeling that it is because UPN_Discovery is automatically enabled (for autousername population). Can you try to install Jabber with disabled UPN_Discovery?

    MsiExec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi UPN_DISCOVERY_ENABLED = false CLICK2X = DISABLE

    To run as an administrator, open the windows in administrator mode command prompt (right click on Start menu on windows 8) and browse (> cd) to this location for jabber Installer CiscoJabberSetup.msi and copy / paste this command.

    Reset gray is indeed a bit odd.

    THE FIXED!

    Was exactly what I thought, an overheating problem. Bought a cooler extra fan and change the thermal paste on the CPU and now the temperature remains cool and stable. Recently a 4 minute video 1080 p 30 fps very edited to the H.264 format in less than 5 minutes without any reboot crash or computer, and great video.

  • Can I install Windows 7 on another computer if the first installation on another computer has been deleted before activation?

    Here's my situation: I installed an oem version of Windows 7 on a computer, I've set up - downloaded all the updates. I have not activated yet. Now I changed my mind about the operating system I want to install on this computer. Because the software was not enabled can I remove and install in the future on another computer? Or Microsoft knows somehow I installed the operating system on a computer, even if I do not activate it.

    Only the activation records material signature in the Activation of MS servers to compare to reinstall or check the real.  What you have now is an installation not enabled with probable 30 days to activate.

    You are wise to wait to be sure because once the OEM version is activated in the EULA, it can be moved to another motherboard.  However since OEM became the only Windows 7 Home or Pro version available there are some reports of agents activating MS make exceptions to move with a good cause.  But this cannot count on.

  • HP C4385 don't scan and then cannot be found by the HP Installer...

    A scanning several pages with my HPC4385 yesterday when the Scanner has suddenly stopped at halfway through a page of scanning.  After a new attempt of several times, the software tells me that scanner could not be initialized.

    I uninstalled the software and tried to reinstall and now HP and HP Setup Setup cannot find the printer/scanner at all?

    One other thing to note is HP on the LED flashes quickly after turning the power on.

    I also tried to do a full reset by pressing and cancel at the same time and no change in behaviour

    I recommend you to perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

    I recommend then perform a reset of the printer.  Return to the configuration of the system that you were before, by pressing the power and Cancel buttons, then blue, green, and gray buttons.  You can use the reset instructions below:

    Press the black 'Copy' button until the display shows "Reset Menu", then press the "Color copy" button once. Press the black 'Copy' button until the display shows "Reset partial" and then press the button "color copy".  The printer turns off.  Wait 60 seconds and power on the printer at the end of the reset.

    Please let me know how it goes.
