QUESTION; How to run the Setup program when I get this message please.

In order to run the Setup program to reinstall windows, put the disc into your computer and start to it, which will give the classical configuration of BACK blue screen and after you format your drive, and windows installs the first part, you will need to return to the mode of windows.

    Windows Update problem (new)

The following procedure applies in the case of installation (reinstall) Windows 7.  It does not apply to a usual, normal day.

I'm afraid that you will do the reinstall again.  Not a terrible penalty to pay.  Usually takes less than an hour.  Then immediately proceed to the next procedure.   It's strange, but it really does work and many people have proved it.

NEVER install anything other than Windows updates until your system is up-to-date.  Once you have the list update, install all together.  Installation of updates in batches is not expedite the process or do better.

    1. Before you begin to re - install, download (32 or 64 bit) KB3083710 and KB3102810 in advance and store on a USB
    2. Start and end the re - install Windows 7 SP1
    3. Before that the newly installed system can go online for the first time, Disconnect the computer from the Internet.  This chronology is essential.
    4. Install KB3083710 and reboot manually.
    5. Install KB3102810 and reboot manually.
    6. Restore the Internet connection, and run Windows Update as usual.
    7. After a few minutes, you should have a lot of updates to download and install.

  • Cannot run the installation of the mavericks

I am trying to upgrade an old iMac running OS X 10.5. ?. I installed snow leopard and ran the update is now at 10.6.8. I had a copy of the Mavericks install on another system then I copied as the old iMac. When I run it, I get the following:

"This copy of the Mavericks install OS X cannot be verified. "It may have been corrupted or altered during the download.

I know that this facility has run on the machine, that I copied it from. I also tried to run an installation of El Capitan of a file and got the same message.

I did go to the app store and try to download the upgrade from there, but it gave me another error I'll put in a separate post.

I would be very happy to help

    Thank you

    John

Install both applications belong to your Apple ID or another Apple ID? If the latter, then you must use a copy of your Apple ID. You will not be able to download the Mavericks but you can download El Capitan. However, if the computer does not meet the system requirements then you may not able to upgrade past that Snow Leopard or you may only be able to upgrade to Lion.

If you have already purchased the Mavericks in with your Apple ID then you should be able to re - download it from your shopping list in the App Store. You also need to associate the computer with your Apple ID through preferences to iCloud.

  • Installation of Win 7 pro on win 7 ultimate

    OK, the first facts:

My friend has a computer that came with Vista installed.

Some time before, she had a problem with the computer and brought it to a repairman.

When she got the computer back everything was in order, but the repairman installed a copy of Win 7 Ultimate instead of Vista.

Everything went well for a while, but yesterday after an update, Windows 7 has been declared as not authentic.

She immediately called the guy who told him that it is not surprising that it had installed a pirated copy.

She now wants to buy a legitimate release of Win 7.

    Now for the questions:

She does not have the ultimate version of Win 7, Win 7 Pro would be better suited for her. Is it possible to downgrade Win 7 Ultimate to Windows 7 Pro without losing all data on the hard drive?

In addition, she still the Vista COA at hand. Then it would be possible to just switch to Win 7 Pro without having to reinstall Vista first?

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to downgrade directly from Windows 7 Ultimate Windows 7 Professional, without modifying the files. You can not downgrade any Windows like the upgrade. THUS, back up all personal files and other files, and then perform a new installation (will erase the partition and install Windows 7 professional fees). You can then restore the files. Note that installed applications/programs should not be backed up because they can be installed after the installation of Windows.
This process requires no installation of Windows Vista. But if you plan to upgrade, rather than clean install of Windows 7 Professional, you must install Windows Vista (new installation) first and then proceed to the upgrade.
Note this upgrade can be made between architectures, i.e., x 86 (32 bit) x 64 (64-bit) or vice versa, even if it's Windows Vista to Windows 7.

Yes, doesn't look like it is compatible with Windows 10.  You can wait and see if they release drivers for it in the future.

  • cannot record audio streams in Win 8 pRO

I can't save the audio streaming to Win 8 using any software... Sound forge (updated driver) Audacity (just installed as test) and your 'recorder '... They will all be the record of a microphone but not reading.  The file should be saved to HD and then it can be played using the media player... Also I can't use the built-in DVD/CD device, he continually tells me to insert a disk... My external HP dvd1040 works very well, but this is not the point...  These two problems may be related? ... In the Device Manager it tells me the CD/DVD unit is not plugged in and there is several HDMI and S/PDIF devices that show not plugged... From time to time, it (they) change... Sometimes, the Device Manager shows four items sometimes ten to twelve, more unplugged... Leave a clean install, not an upgrade, Vista (update, at the time), I have Win 8 Pro...

Maybe your outdated software and is not compatible with Windows 8? Try this audio streaming recorder

It works like a charm with Windows 8 and 10.

Here are some articles that cover some causes of the error code that you are experiencing.  If none of these match your situation, you can search Microsoft Product Support for this error code, because there are several other articles related to this code.  What happens when you try to start with the installation CD?  You get an error?

  • Installation of Win 7 Pro 64-bit on Mac Pro (Intel) with Boot Camp

Trying to install OEM Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on a Mac Pro (Intel based computer) using Boot Camp (with Apple OS X 10.6). The installation went well until the system reboots to the CD with the OEM Windows 7 drive in the Bay. At that time there a MS-DOS appears on the screen that looks like this:

    1.

    2.
Select the Startup Type of the CD-ROM:

There is a blinking cursor (line underscore) after the semicolon, but everything I type on the keyboard appears on the screen when the cursor blinks. I use a USB keyboard connected to the computer for the installation, so I know it works. This blocked me.

Is it possible that the OEM version is causing this problem? Can I use a regular full version of Windows 7? Do not spend money to buy, then discover it displays the same screen.

I'll check with both Apple Support, but it seems strange that everything went very well with the installation until the Windows 7 loaded into the Bay. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Are you sure you are using the right drive?

The OEM versions include a disc OPK and the Windows 7 installation disc, make sure you use the right one.

Also, insert the disc, press C on your keyboard and select the Windows 7 disc to boot from it.

    Hello

As far as I know your device comes with Windows XP Home Edition, but you can install professional at any time. All the drivers, tools and utilities that you have on the CD-ROM of the tools can also be used with professional.

As Tom says check the installations instructions and install all of the components in the order. It is very important.

  • Compaq SR5710F: installation of Win XP pro on Compaq SR5710F

I have a disabled friend who asked me to help her with a computer, it got from goodwill.  It came with Windows Vista (ugh!) and with a nasty virus called Artemis.   It is used to using Windows XP in the computer room community here, so he wants to put XP on this computer.  I tried to find drivers for the computer and have found that HP (Compaq) does not support XP, even though it is listed as part of the minimum requirements.

Anyone know where I can find drivers for XP for Compaq SR5710F?  I also understand that I have to change the BIOS SATA to IDE?  Who will work with him always connected to a SATA drive provided in there?  I read a post in the forum that someone named Paul Tikkanen seemed to be very useful.  Mr. Tikkanen, if so, please help me as well. : )

    Randall

    Hi, Randall:

This PC must be able to run XP fine.

You should not need to change the BIOS settings to install it.

After you get XP to install, here are the drivers you need...

First install the chipset driver and reboot.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/9701/en-us

Then, install the graphics driver and restart.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/57493/en-us

Audio: Accept the agreement, download and install the driver of the first on the list displayed in green.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=24&PFID=24&level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

See if the modem Vista driver works...

    That should do it.

  • Qwest QuickCare/IE problem, cannot run the installation program.

When I try to download setup Qwest QuickCare the following text is displayed: "not found required IE version.  Need to IE 5.5 SP2 and above to install it. "But I have version 9.  Why I have a problem using Qwest QuickCare? I ran Windows IE fix - it, and he says that he has no problem with my version of Internet Explorer.

There are no problems with your IE 9; Is the inclusive who wrote Qwest QuickCare 2.7 seem to have committed two errors.  First of all, their test for the version of IE cannot say that 9 is more than 5.5 (it may have been written when no one "expected" a new version).  Second, they chose the order (1) uninstall any previous version of QuickCare which was installed successfully at the time where IE was 6 or 7, AND ONLY THEN (2) check the version of IE installed.  Reverse order would at least leave the previous 2.5 QuickCare or intact.

Who answers your question "is something wrong with my IE.  Unfortunately, it leaves unanswered the question "how to get installed Quickcare.
