• Cannot save a copy under? help please?

  I can't save a copy as. I am trying to send a draft to a friend and I can't figure out how. I saw the option ' save a copy under "before and now I can't find it.

  It's under file... as long as you have enabled ALL the advanced tools in the main Logic preferences > advanced tools.

  Note: actually you need not to all light to see this feature, just the top one... but light them ALL in any case as at the time the features of Logic Pro X are enabled for you to use, rather than having to work in a much more limited 'Garageband Pro' mode...

  Hello! In view of the fact that you say that it is a trial version, I think you're using CS6.

  I think that somewhere, you entered a dimension with the bad units: If you type in 1024 x 600 inches, but select, your document may be huge (it is 1024 * 600 * [the ppi you selected] pixels, instead of 1024 * 600pixels.)

  

  Beware, if you select the size option and the resolution in the crop tool, to use pixels as value if you need a document of this size (to crop to a certain size, you can use the size option and the resolution in the drop-down list in the Crop tool options bar):

  

  In case you are using an older version of Photoshop, be sure to type in the correct unit in the crop tool options bar, it will give you a fixed pixel amount, even if the resolution is set at 72 or 300 ppi:

• Cannot download my copy of CS6 PS from my account.

  Hi, I am unable to download my copy of CS6 PS from my account. I get the following "413 header length too large." I had to uninstall as the app would not update. Now, I can not download it again. Really frustrating. What should I do?

• Cannot open the project first exported from After Effects

  I was working on something in After Effects, basically just audio and video clips. Editting really. I decided, would be faster in the first, so I exported to a project of creation of it.  When I try to load it in first I get an error "the project seems damaged, it cannot be opened.  Does anyone know if there is a way to solve this problem?

  It does not cause a problem for me, and we have heard this on the forum that I can remember.

  Try to create a new model in a new project. Add some video and audio. Who exports OK?

  I don't want to be rude and in no case I want to be insulting, but I'd feel bad if I didn't, and it turns out to be the problem...

  Since it is the symptom if you try to open a project created in Ae with Premiere Pro CS6 - Pr please check that you open the good Premiere Pro. I forget what icon which is timely and open CC I want to open CS6, although I never did the opposite error. Yet.

• PSD Photoshop CS6 in After Effects CS5.5

  Our graphics Department have recently install Photoshop CS6 version 13.0 x 64. I'm going to open a .psd file, they created in After Effects CS5.5 version 10.5.1.2. However, I get the following message:

  "After effects error: could not open (.psd name) because it is not a valid Photoshop document." (51: 19) »

  Is there some way they can save their files in photoshop differently so that they will open or do I need to upgrade to After Effects CS6?

  I've never met such a problem and switch between the two versions on a regular basis.  On the machine, I'm working on right now I have CS6 installed creative cloud, but most of my AE work in CS5 or 5.5 because customers, I work for no upgarded yet.  But all my PSD work in CS6.

  Is there anything unusual in the file, 3D content IE?  As Mylenium says 3D PS has changed and is no longer supported by AE.  If not, you move between platforms, IE Windows to Mac?  Is the file has a valid PSD extension?

  I bought CS6 Production Premium with After Effects, but when I installed the suite, After Effects is grayed and I could not install it. This is the main reason I purchased Production Premium. Why can't I install it?

• Premiere Pro CS6 vs After Effects CS6

  I would like to know which of these programs would be better for me.   I shot with my Canon Vixia HFS 20 HD camcorder.  I have a studio decent green screen set in place in my basement.  I currently use Corel VideoStudio Pro X 3 and I'm not happy with the chroma poor main features there.  Is the key Chroma identical or similar on these two programs?  I'd rather spend less for Premiere Pro unless there is some really cool stuff in After Effects that would make the extra cost is worth it.

  I just bought a desktop computer new Dell XPS 8500 with a processor Core i7, 12 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT 640 1 GB GDDR5, power 460 watts, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit and a 2 TB hard drive.  I just installed a WD Black 2 TB internal second hard drive.  I would be willing to update the graphics card or RAM if it would make a noticeable difference.

  I really want good advice on what to buy and suggestions for improvements of the computer if necessary.

  Both programs have good chroma keying. In Premiere Pro, it's Ultra key and in After Effects, it is Keylight. Both work very well.

  I'd be inclined to direct you to a video - Premiere Pro - rather than a program of special effects - After Effects Editor - if you get only one.

  However, if you are happy editing with Corel, After Effects may be the way to go. You do not get integration, you have between Premiere Pro and after effects, but you can still enter and create headlines and animation in After Effects and then assemble the change in Corel. Or try using a free editor like Lightworks. Still not as good, but free is free.

• Cannot import and export MPEG2 files in After Effects and Premiere Pro.

  I don't know when, but a few days ago my Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects do not recognize the MPEG2 files.

• Muse CC 2014 cannot save the programe of work/close after using the function "FTP host download"

  Hi, I'm new and try the 'Upload to the FTP host' function yesterday and encountered this problem.

  The files got uploaded, published on the site immediately... but Muse seems to screw up a bit after that. I can't save my file as I am only left with file > open recent element and a few others not. I tried to close the program, he asked if I want to save the file. I clicked 'Yes', but he has not saved. The program did not close either. I have to close the program via the Task Manager.

  My assumptions:

  -This has happened after that I used the 'Upload to FTP Host' option.

  -J' I checked on the task bar, there is an icon "edge CC inspect." I don't think that it works because it is not installed on my computer and the options just brings me to the Adobe download page.

  -Prior to this, I downloaded Flash Builder Premium, but I used it just that I realized that I need to write the code that I suck at... so much that causes the crash?

  Google and realized there was a similar, but unanswered thread in Adobe communities.

  Someone help? This is a very handy feature that I like to use...

  Please download the http://muse.adobe.com/assets/ftp2014fix.zipfile, unzip it and save the figure ftpPrefs.xml file to the following location:

  On Windows: %appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe CC\2014.0 Muse (you can type in the path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window)

  On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe CC/2014.0 Muse (you can type in the dialog box go to the folder by using shift-command-G)

  Muse uses extended FTP Mode Passive (EPSV). This is the preferred mode for optimal performance, but we find that some hosts have configured FTP servers such as EPSV is not supported or EPSV only works if you are inside the firewall as well as the FTP server. The ftpPrefs.xml file that precedes, turns off EPSV mode. So if this is the problem in this case, implementation of this file should allow you to properly connect and download without errors.

  I have a file in Illustrator 6 300 dpi, which can not reproduce the ID 6 still makes good pdf files Acrobat pro. I have tried to circumvent ID6 and put the pdf file in my book, after that the book is a pdf file, but Acrobat pro let me only to insert a new page in a single location, page 17.

  Ok. Make sure that high quality display is selected. As I said previously, the preview image in the ID is a jpeg, the .ai or a PDF from Illustrator is vector. Output ID will be also vector.

  Please help me, because before the upgrade to AE it used to be working perfectly well.

  Its not really dynamic but AE link is integrated with, even that you can open any version on Ps leave yet again.

  It still works for me.

• After effects CC doesn't have the option "Save as CS6?

  I am using CS6 to open a .aep file and it is the slightest mistake out. We tried to save the file from the original AE CC as a CS6 version system, but it wasn't an option in the menu, just save it as CC 12.0. Any ideas here? I need some backward compatibility between the two versions. What I find online is that it is supposed to be an option "Save as CS6" in AE CC.

  Here's the process:

  1. Open AE CC 2014 and save a copy under AE CC
  2. Open the project file of the first step to using AE CC (don't open it with AE CC 2014. Yes, you must have two versions of the CC installed to make it all the way to CS6)
  3. Save as CS6 AE in AE CC

  Each version of AE will not save backward one version.  Having two versions of the CC, it is confusing.  Hope that helps out.

• CS6 installed on iMac - InDesign & after effects error

  I just downloaded Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection on my iMac 27 "new.

  All the programs installed correctly with the exception of InDesign and Adobe After Effects.

  InDesign gives me this error message: cannot open the application "Adobe InDesign CS6" because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

  After effects gives me this error message: cannot use this version of the "Adobe After Effects CS6" application with this version of Mac OS X. You have "Adobe After Effects CS6" 11.0.

  I downloaded CS6 using this link - applications download Adobe Creative Suite 6 - and then selected CS6 Master Collection, put my serial number and went along my way. As I said, all downloaded and installed fine except InDesign and Adobe After Effects.
