Cannot separate a cluster.

Hi all

I'm trying to unbundle a cluster to retrieve an array of joint coordinates of a kinect. For some reason, I get an error (see image) when I join the cluster wire one "ungroup by name. In a Subvi I joined (GetJointPosition.vi), it performs the same procedure and it works. I use the wrapper from this document or:

https://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-16978

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

It's because you're trying to separate a table.  You index the clusters on the table to unbundle the.  What exactly are you trying to do here?

  • VSA installed, you cannot create the cluster "VSA unavailable Cluster"

    Hi guys

At home, I have 2 servers ESXi with a vCenter 5 virtual running on one of these hosts (I know this is not supported or the best practice, because failure of the host with vCenter, only remains of the hosts and it doesn't have the majority because of the loss of VSA service and a host). However, I think that I have an error or an obstacle not related to this.

Also, I plan on cold migration (first storage vMotion, deleting the VM of the inventory, adding to another host) the vCenter, so this problem should be addressed in the near future...

Currently, I have installed the Manager of VSA on the vCenter server and when I open on my client vSphere client, I get the VSA Manager tab but when I open it, it says "Loading" and then a Flash-style/VMware View management console style dialog box pops up saying "the VSA cluster is unavailable: VC Session creation has failed." with a title "VSA Cluster unavailable."

What I am doing wrong? I can't find much documentation on the installation of a VSA, so a little help would be appreciated by a Belgian engineer VMware junior and learning

I have enough available storage. One of the hosts I have a 160 GB SSD and 2 TB of available HARD drive, on the other a 80 GB SSD and a volume of 320GB RAID 1 presented by a LSI Logic Controller. All of them are mounted...

VSA Manager has the same error as reported before

    2011-12-12 16:29:28, 141 338 [SessionService] [http - 127.0.0.1 - 8080-6] ERROR - cannot get the link of the extension
    org. Apache.Axis2.AxisFault: cantTunnel00: 192.168.8.23:80 HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Your screenshot also indicated that vCenter is installed on port 8081. It's conssistent with the PuTTY test done before. You probably have something else listening on port 80. VSA 1.0 release requires that vCenter is Installer to the default HTTP port, port 80, which should be fixed in later versions.

  • cannot place the cluster in table

I hope that this is a stupid question after a long day of programming.

I can't insert this cluster in this table.  I did it for years, but for some reason any that it does not work now.

    Please notify

    Cool, that's all!

I was able to add my decorations, after you add the cluster without decoration, in the table.

I have attached my now (what I think) is my cool looking for control.

  • Cluster nodes cannot ping each other

    Hello

I recently put one of our old clusters online it's a server poweredge 1855. I work at 5 knots, and there a PowerConnect 5316 M switch on the back. 5316M has only 1 cable connecting the switch to uplink.

Each blade has 2 NIC one of them is a NIC, with a normal IP on our range of normal production. All blades can ping this address each other, and they all have internet.

The other NETWORK adapter is what I use for live migration, or pulsation of cluster or something... Whatever it is, it has a different range with no gateway (172.50.1.x)

Now 3 of the blades can all ping eachother, but not the other 2. And 2 that can not ping, can ping each other. It seems that the 2 are on the same VLAN, and the other 3 are on the same VLAN.

The problem I have, is the switch shows them all on the VLAN by default... and one thing that I can't work... If the servers all have 2 network cards, but there are only 10 ports on the internal switch?... so, how can I set or the other card NETWORK on one VLAN different?

The configuration of the switch is here:

Module e/s 1 goes to port 1 and i/o 2 module goes to port 2 of the LOM standard.

It is therefore useful to check what ports are used by the server. If the 3 are on port 1 and then the other 2 are on port 2, try to get all the 172.50.1.x addresses assigned to port 2 for example.

Filing of an SR (service request) with the support of the Oracle would be the prudent thing to do.

  • LabVIEW botches unbundle when cluster is changed

    • Define a cluster (typedef) as Characteristics.ctl wave and a VI that separate this cluster as Cluster rename Bug.vi.
    • Delete an item (Amplitude) of the cluster and add another to the end (background noise), so that the cluster always contains 3 elements such as the characteristics of the 2.ctl wave,.
    • Apply the changes.
    • The unbundle now uses the phase shift twice.  The first occurrence of phase shift is incorrectly wired amplitude; He must always say dephasing, and black, and the VI should be impassable.

The same problem occurs if the VI that uses the cluster is not in memory when the cluster is changed.  This problem we often enough and is a major source of bugs and cause of the loss of time.  We understand that LabVIEW can not determine if the change in the name of the second element was intentional or a mistake made by the programmer.  We would prefer to get a broken VI and to solve the problem ourselves, rather than having LabVIEW to make erroneous assumptions.

I can't reproduce this in LV8.5.1. What version do you use?

    What happens if you:

    delete an item
    apply the changes,
    Add another element,
    apply the changes.

    Kind regards

    Wiebe.

  • Which of the following functions assembles CLuster elements by their label opportunity

    Hello

Reviews online sample DRESSED a question appears as follows:

Which of the following functions assembles CLuster elements by their label opportunity

    a bundle

    b unbundling

    c unbundling by name

    d offers grouped by name

    My question is:

Obviously, the answer is a or d but d cannot assemble a cluster while a do not group them by their property tags.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Sean

The answer is (a) - who ride using the labels, as shown here:

  • Fabric Interconnect join the cluster

    Hello! Experts:

When I join a new FI the cluster, I have to get the same firmware on the new FI before he can join?

It depends on what version of UCS

I think that since 2.1.3 it will automatically synchronize the versions and therefore can join the cluster.

Before, you have the message: version mismatch, cannot join the cluster.

See the article by Jeffs: http://jeffsaidso.com/2014/05/cool-new-ucs-featurefirmware-sync/

  • ISE PSN node will not be joining the cluster

    Hi all

Has anyone seen a problem where an NHP cannot join the cluster?

    We join node of PSN

-Node is saved successfully (current synchronization)

-1 hour later - node replication failure.

-Replication synchronization failed because the secondary database is down

I have a client where admin node and PSN are separated by the firewall.

    We let in two directions

    Admin <-->PSN

    ICMP

    HTTPS

    1521

    Firewall not showing drops.

    DNS and NTP are ok.

Current topology is 1 NHP, 1 Admin node.

Works very well in our test lab, but not clients environmnet.

    See you soon

    Peter.

Thank you for the update we and good work on the search for the solution! You should probably mark it as resolved now

In addition, it is quite rare (at least for me) for nodes of ISE to be separated by firewalls. There are a lot of ports/protocols that must be opened between them is usually more of a pain to manage. In addition, sometimes ports will change too. For example, the fueling port agent has been changed not too long ago...

    Thanks for the note!

  • Design storage for VMS Server files

    Hello

I need help. We expect the SAN for our file server VMs who currently have sizes of 2-3TBs volume, because its for a single Department and we cannot separate the directories of the volume.

What we use is CX3 - 80 with 300 GB drives, what I thought was create between 3-4 DAEs Metaluns and LUNS for the ESX. However I'm not sure what LUN size I should use and VMware block size should I use if I have 2-3TBs volume sizes. What I do is rationalize some servers of files MS Cluster of virtual machines. Currently the file servers have 4 volumes of 1.6 to and I need to migrate these VM. So what I have is 3-4 VMs attached with data d:\ 1.6TBs drives each.

Can anyone give me some advice on sizing and sizing of VMFS LUNs.

    Thank you very much

If you want to go with vmfs (2 TB if it is the size you need), block size should be 8 If you want your s vmdk to 2 TB. There will be more chance for the wasted space.

I agree with Fred and present the storage in the RDM.
