• OC4J configuration problem when I start dbconsole!

  I installed Oracle 11 GR 1 material on Linux OS. Installation is complete, the database manager, auditor and the company worked very well.
  
  for some configurations I had to change the hostname of localhost.localdomain to my requested name.
  
  Now, when I try to start dbconsole using emctl start dbconsole, I get the following error:

  You're probably on a dhcp-based system. You must ensure that the correct setting of the intellectual property is in the file/etc/hosts. The problem is that your db to any host name console has been made, its not available anymore. See the following page for the EM database troubleshooting,

  Hi all

  I have a new installation of Oracle 11 g 2 m4.

  I tried several times creating dbconsole, ensuring that the environment variables are defined property and also in the response file, specifically ORACLE_HOSTNAME is set correctly.

  The emca - config... returns with success,

  but in the newspaper, it shows me the URL to control db being in the form of https:// < hostname >: 5500/em

  Under OracleHome, I have a directory in the form of < hostname > dbcontrol Private

  Although my departure db control fails with above message.

  I installed oracle 10g on RHEL 5. during installation I create a startup called orcl database. After that, I can get the link em when I give emctl start dbconsole. Now, I created a database manually called ora, after I have can not start the emctl command it shows me error

• Error 11 GR 2 emctl start dbconsole

  I just installed database 11 GR 2. I installed with the manual option, no database created in the first place. I created the database manually already and already ran two scripts that create the data dictionary elements, etc.. I could start the instance and open the database successfully.
  
  But when I try to run the following command to start the dbconsole for enterprise manager, I get these errors. I understand that I must issue the full command, including the... part 'start dbconsole', but simply out of curiosity has also run the command without this part.
  I checked and I have place in the following directory:
  /U01/app/Oracle/product/11.1.0/dbhome_1/OC4J/J2EE/OC4J_DBConsole
  
  but not the... localhost... part mentioned in the error message.
  
  What's not here? How to solve this?

  The name of host/IP probably changed, so you must recreate the dbconsole:

  -Created the cdfix.reg file, it has added to the registry and restarted the computer

  RESOLUTION
  Warning serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using the registry editor or by using another method. These problems may require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.

  To resolve this problem, remove the affected filter drivers. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, type regedit in the search box, and then click regedit in the list programs.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
  2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
  Be careful it can be many instances of the registry subkey that is mentioned in step 2. You must ensure that you are in the appropriate registry subkey before modifying the UpperFilters and LowerFilters values.   3. in the right pane, click UpperFilters, and then click on remove.
