Cannot start Machine clustered HA

Hello, as stated above earlier today I was unable to boot a computer located in a HA cluster. There was actually a second system, I could not start
In the HA cluster, there are two hosts
There are also four virtual machines

Now, two virtual machines have been attached to host 1 which has been set up as the master
Two others who could not start were fixed to host 2 that has been set up as the slave.
The error I got (I'm sorry, I'm not in front of the system right now) has been something similar.
"Failed to start the VM as its host is a redundant... in this group"
Now after I moved them to the host 1, they started very well and everything was back to normal.
Is this normal or is there a mistake of possible configuration somewhere?

I'm sorry, I'm still a little familiar with Vsphere and try to learn as much as I can.
If you need other info let me know.

Please take a look to following sub

  • Cannot start the physical machine converted to a virtual machine under ESXi 4.0

    Hi all

I have 2 has with the material below

Dell optiplex 755 2.4 Qcore 4 GB of RAM and 160 GB of HARD drive

A performer with ESXi 4.0 other runs with Windows 2003.

I tried to convert physical machine with "Vmware Vcenter converter Stand alone" 4.0.1 build 161434

I used the tool on the source machine and by another machine on the network.

The two process converts the physical machine to a virtual machine successfully without any errors.

After conversion, the virtual machine cannot start, and shows only a small slider that is not flashing too.

The physical machine have a single partition of 160 GB

The space currently used on the physical machine is 26 GB.

I reduced the size of the HARD drive to virtual computer with fix / light available in 40 GB.

point to make here is that the ESX have only 160 GB HDD, so he will not be able to copy all 160 GB because of which I am reducing the 40 GB HARD drive

I converted a few other physical machines with 40 GB HARD drive and they work well after the conversion.

Any sugessions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sunil,

Let me know the drive selected in the custom option controller.

    Thank you

  • Cannot start Bridge CS6 on Machine in Windows 8.

I am running Photoshop CS6 (subscription CC) on a Windows 8 machine.  While Photoshop itself starts perfectly OK when I click on the Bridge camera I get a small circle turning for a few seconds, then nothing.  The same happens when I try to start in Photoshop.  Mini Bridge said it cannot start without full bridge running.  Someone has any idea how to get bridge to run.  The only clue I can give to what could be the problem is that I had CS2 running on the computer before installing the CS6 and I wonder if there are still some detritus of this installation hang out.  Either way, I searched the forum and tried most of the remedies suggested in the past for similar problems on older versions of Photoshop.  It's an anoyance rather than a cap game for me that I manage my photo library using Lightroom, but I would like to fix the problem.

Correct thinking on CS2.  You must create an empty directory.  For insttuction exact look to post this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/4662458#4662458#4662458 #64

    This should help.

  • Re: Satellite A210 - cannot start and how can I backup my data?

Hi, after installing some software of spyware on my vista A210 (spysweeper) I rebooted my laptop, restart it went straight to the Boot Manager and load insert me my recovery disc and follow the instructions in an effective way. The only options I have with this disc to format my hard drive, it seems to indicate that it will erase everything (that would include things on my partitioned drive?).

No there is no way to start the PC in safe mode? I tried using the F8 key, but couldn't get the SafeMode menu by using the recovery disk to start my machine. So when I chose to start windows in safe mode it loaded the disc in place.

This sounds like a familiar problem, if so someone knows how can I restore the last parameters of weeks without access to windows?

I'll have to swallow and format my drive, on the partition that I have a few photos, etc. that I've not saved yet a trip last week so I want to only do this as a last resort?

Would I be able to go buy a copy of vista and fix it using the CD? My laptop came with windows vista installed but no windows disk.

    Any help is very appreciated!

    Thank you.

If you are not able to go into the F8 advanced boot menu, you cannot start in safe mode. It's done.
I think the only way is to reinstall Vista.

The reason why the laptop came without installation disk is the disk HARD on the second partition a folder called "HDDRecovery". This folder contains the factory settings and you can restore it if you go to the menu of advanced, boot repair my computer and then you can select the Toshiba Recovery feature.
In addition, you always get a reminder message that you must burn this image to a DVD:
    + Important INFORMATION +.

+ your system is equipped with a hard drive recovery system. If you need repair.
+ your computer in the restaurant to original factory State, you can do it directly.
+ HDD (press F8 when you start your computer, choose "Repair your computer" +)
+ and follow the instructions in the menu) or create a media drive bootable recovery to that end. +.

+ Toshiba recommends you create recovery disk medium uses the "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator' to ensure the +.
+ Hat you are able to restore your computer to the State of origin, installed at the factory, even if your computer +.
    + Gets severely damaged.

However, now it is too late to burn the recovery disc.
In your case, I would order a Toshiba Recovery disk directly. Then, you can reinstall the laptop and the Toshiba drive already contains all the drivers and tools.
    Here you can order: [https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx]

If you use the recovery disk Toshiba that the whole HARD disk will be formatted. You should back up your data before doing this.
To do this, you can buy an external HARD drive enclosure. Remove the HARD drive from the laptop, put it in the case and plug it into another PC or laptop. Then, you are able to save your data.

I hope I could help you.

    Hi @JS2045

The audio device problem HD, what you see is the Intel HDMI audio device that needs a driver.

I looked around for a driver W10 to the hardware ID you have published and fails.

This device is necessary unless you want or need audio via the port display.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the graphics driver Intel W7 laptop support and driver page, but install it... so that you target just the audio device problem...

Download, but do not work with this graphics driver...

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=4095873 & swItemId = ob_127914_1 & swEnvOid = 4059

Download and install this free utility for files.  64-bit is the second listed file.

    http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7-zip, do a right-click on the graphic driver file you downloaded, and select 7 - zip in the list of items.

Have 7-Zip extract of: and let it extract the driver for the name of the folder (sp64360).

Go to Device Manager and click on the audio device problem Intel HD requiring the driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver 7-Zip created folder.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

    Then restart.

If you explore the driver folder 7-zip created, and then open the DisplayAudio folder, you will find the setup information file that has the hardware ID you reported that supported by the driver.

If this driver audio works on W10, I don't know.

But if you want to give that a try, it would be a way to do it without messing with the real graphics driver.

A lot of recovery options require you to enter the Bios and make sure that booting from a CD or floppy disk, is set to boot from the hard drive.  They are not started by loading Windows, they run outside any Windows environment.  If you cannot start your machine in this way can be unservicable and need repair or replacement.

See if you can borrow an XP CD and load the Recovery Console.

You have a few options if you can load the XP Recovery on the computer Console.

See if you can get your hands on a BartPE CD from this link.  You might be able to use BartPE (a stand-alone XP mini on a CD and run from the bootable CD) which includes scanners virus via plugins and also the program ChkDsk.

  • CD Player cannot start (Code 10)

I bought this laptop with Vista 16 months ago. Today I bought MS Office to add (I mainly used as an Internet tool so far). Today, I find that the shiny new Microsoft Office CD does not load.
I have noticed that only discs showing on the screen 'Computer' Vista (C) and system (S) - not others.
I assumed that I had to restart the CD player (he used to work - it's listed as Slimtype DVDRW SSW - 8015-S ATA Device) via Device Manager. However it gives me Code 10 (cannot start) and when I click on "Driver", then "Update driver", it tells me that the driver is up-to-date.
Restoring proposed in one of the threads option is grayed out, I guess because the driver has never been updated.
I am displeased with some of the solutions machine code I find here in Earth & support - I am in no way focused on technology and I would be very uncomfortable on the new codes by typing in a box of blinking cursor. Surely, there is an official download available now - this issue seems to have been around for more than 18 months? My hour and a half reading the forums, the fault is clearly caused by something in the MS Update system, rather than users.
I don't want to pay someone to fix a computer where I paid Microsoft for Vista, just pay a small fortune for MS Office and then find there is a continuous problem caused by Microsoft software.
Please can someone provide a simple solution to the problem of loading of Office on a Vista laptop when the computer stopped to recognize its own built in CD/DVD drive?
    Thank you
    Oliver
