Cannot start photoshop CC 2014. Error 0xC0000076. Help please?

I downloaded photoshop CC 2014, but when I start the application. A dialog box saying: "the application could not start properly. Error 0xC0000076 ". I use Windows 7. Anyone has the same problem? Anyone has a solution too?

After having spent half a day on the Adobe forum and chat to support online Adobe, no solution has been found. Finally figured it on mine. I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 update 4 for x 86 and x 64. When the download is complete, click on the exe file. It will ask you if you want to repair or uninstall. Click on repair.

After the repair, Photoshop CC 2014 starts normal. Hope it will work for you as well.

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook" error message when you try to click on a name or contact us on a website to send an email on Outlook/microsoft office 2003 Vista OS msg. My laptop came with Microsoft Office 2007 TRIAL version, but I already had Microsoft Office Pro 2003, so loaded on when I got it almost a year ago. My trial expired months ago... but never uninstalled cause 2003 worked. Then I wanted to do something in WORD and kept pulling up the 2007 trial and was confusing, so I sent the 2007 trial stuff to recycle bin, but not yet the uninstall. Since then all of a sudden I started to get this error msg. I can open OUTLOOK very well... BUT I don't even use OUTLOOK at all. I send from comcast.

It is possible, but this isn't the best way to do it.

Adobe cloud plans don't offer a mix and a game approach. There are 3 separate plans: Plan of photography. Only App plans and applications.

    You have two options:

    1. Plan of photography ($ 10 / month) + App unique After Effects ($ 20 / month) + one App Premiere Pro ($ 20 / month) = $50 / month
    2. All Apps Plan = $50 / month

Clearly the plan of applications is the best deal if you want apps 3 or more.

  • Cannot start Photoshop Extended cs5.5

I have a new install of Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection. I was using Adobe Photoshop this morning without any problems. Then stop down to the computer and back 4 hours later and started the computer and the PS, but I'm unable to start. I get the error message is "could not initialize photoshop because the file is locked or you don't have the necessary access privileges." Use the 'Properties' command in Windows Explorer to unlock the file. "I am logged on as administrator , so it cannot be a question of access. I'm running Pro WS7 under 64-bit operating system. Please help - I have a deadline to meet. Thank you.

With Windows Vista and 7, because it has the new centre of user account control (UAC), that you are a member of the Administrators group or not is equally important.  Climbing - the answer to the pop up prompt ' do you want to allow xxxx make changes to your computer "is the way to get full permissions - or run an application as an administrator.

But Photoshop shouldn't be trying to access something that need these permissions after the initial installation.

I would like to start by resetting all the default preferences by pressing the right key command - SHIFT - Alt combination when first starting Photoshop.  You must be very fast after starting the application - down these keys almost instantly - and if you're fast enough it should invite you to remove preferences.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.
