  My user has a Dell Latitude E6500 and after installing Windows Update, the laptop does not start in Windows XP.  Tried to repair, reinstall all Modes and each option we just get error BAD_POOL_CALLER not boot into the operating system.

  Reference Dell it's a software problem, probably caused by the update as no other changes have been made to the laptop.  Before we pay for Dell support software means someone has suggestions?  All options on Googling guess you can enter Windows in at least secure Mode that we can not so I'm stuck!

• Windows won't load do not - cannot start the laptop

  HI - My Mum 6510 b Compaq HP does not load windows.

  As soon as I turn on the machine, I get error System32 appears.

  I tried to boot from the BIOS - with some borrowed XP discs (these were not the original disks). Windows still load and and took me to the System32 error.

  She did no "recovery disc" - is there anyway I can return Windows.

  There is no data on the hard drive that needs to be recovered - she only had the machine (refurbished) a few months.

  The message; operating system not found is displayed because the operating system is not found on the HARD drive.
  This error would be peacemakers if you try to start the laptop without an operating system installed.

  Now the question is;
  Did start you correctly on the CD?

  You can do this by pressing the F12 key immediately after the power of the laptop.

• Satellite A100-00N - cannot start the system

  There were 15 months and now when I push the power button to start the system, it will not work.

  There are 2 blue LEDs lighting but the computer won start t. tried to release the battery and configure power but not luck, with the battery also no luck. On Toshiba that works is the button located under the power button (globe photo with the left and right arrows and a photo of a music note in a display of television or something) when I press this button you hear system starts but after a second or 3-4.

  Also tried to remove the memory and hard drive but still no luck.

  Sorry, but there must be a serious problem, and I don't think that there is nothing you can do. The idea to start the laptop with power running is OK, but if this doesn't work and you see nothing on the screen, it must be a serious problem.

  Of course you do not give any information that you did the last days with your laptop. Maybe you tried to update BIOS?

  I'm under LabView 7.0 (I know its an older configuration), with DSC and Lookout CPB to make periodic communications to an Omron plc.   1 know if your AV (anti-virus) program is supposed to disable your Windows Firewall. Some do it.

  There is a bug that has this pop-up message in Outlook Express, the same when you're not using it, but I've never heard of what happens in Windows Mail.

  This saint, especially as you don't use Winmail, it won't hurt a thing to click OK and accept the compaction. If the problem arises in the future, open WinMail and in tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance, uncheck the box for compact the database on shutdown every xx runs.
