  After restarting my computer, all the virtual machines in workstation that allows you to start now will no longer start.  Currently to get the super useless error message: "Internal error." which is of course totally shameful.

  Thank you Darius - had already tried.  It turns out that this specific response of spoonalious solved my problem.  Not sure what caused the problem in the 1st place, to my knowledge, nothing had changed, but after completing these steps and restart services the issue was resolved after much work.  VMware software are extremely fragile and breaks easily it seems:

  Whenever I try to win7 from the ping server, it says "Request Timed Out".

  Does anyone know how can I fix?

  You are right, with a size of 8 MB block, you can create virtual disks with up to 2 TB less than 512 bytes. However if you want to be able to create snapshots it is additional overhead as explained in the article mentioned above.

• Cannot save virtual machines to a data store

  It is a strange. I added two data warehouses NFS who have existing virtual machines on them, at 2 knots, it is a recovery site and we test.

  I added virtual machines in a store of data without problem. When I add a second data store stores the virtual machine, it is gray with (invalid) after the name.

  I checked the NFS permissions and they are good. I can create and delete a file on the data while browsing store. I have the same data bank on another cluster in the site and I record the same vms on them without problem.  Iremoved and readded thedatastore to the hosts with the same result.

  Any ideas?

  Are configured export files the same on both actions? Do you have

  no_root_squash on the problem?

  Player doesn't have the ability to auto-start the virtual machines.  The fact of VMware Server.  Server start virtual machines when Windows starts, not when you start the server GUI, which is not exactly what you are referring, but is usually what most people want when they want machines virtual autostart.

  'office' versions of Windows are listed as taken hosts supported OS.  Many threads on these forums about the small nagging issues with networking and such when to use Server on unsupported hosts, especially hosts Vista and Win7.  You don't specify what version of Windows you are using as the host.  If it is a server version, VMware Server is an option for you.

  But a simple solution is to simply make shortcuts to the. Files in the folder of your VMX virtual machine.

  Nice day. I have a strange here and can't find any info on the web, hoping someone can help. I have 2 5.5 ESXi hosts, one of them is running device vCenter. I can't start the machine vCenter using the following command from the command-line... vmsvc/power.on vim - cmd 14 (14 being the ID of the device of vCenter). All other VMs on the host started very well by using this command. When I tried on vCenter, I get no response, no error, nothing. The order is always suspended more than an hour now. I already tried to simply recharge the host but got the same problem, trying to start vCenter device. The CLI is now completely useless... Can I push on and get a return transport but nothing else, cannot ESC, out of order or the CLI or whatever it is. Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?
