  Question: Captivate slide comments messages are displayed in the active forms. The parameter preferably smart use of forms for SFH legends instead of text captions is NOT selected. How can I force Captivate to use legend feedback messages?

  Background:

  Today I was training for my team on slide masters & Manager object style. I had set up the messages of comments under objects quiz > legends (good legend, incorrect, etc..) We have created cloned styles and imported a background shape that is the hallmark of our company/policies so that our team will be always consistent when we present the feedback of our modules. Set us them as default style.

  

  When we created our labels by default in Quiz preferences, I had them all check the default labels to display our styles rather than absence of Captivate.   The theme is configured this way. I'm sorry, but the solution that I know on this topic to modify master slides which you use, where forms are used, click on it with the context menu and choose "Return to the legend". I recommend you to save the theme after editing all the slides of masters.

  I recently bought a touch U410 3337U and I feel very bad audio quality of Skype. The people that the word receive many distorted noise (feedback?), although my deviations are completely silent. When the two stop talking, it stops after a while. When I start talking, it starts immediately at the other end.

  The strength of WiFi is excellent. However, the internet connection is very slow (~ 1 MB/s down, ~0.2 MB/s upwards). • Pressing the Tab key activates the player controls

  I am simulating an application that requires the use of the Tab key. In Captivate, the Tab key is a shortcut for click box that passes just to the next slide. During playback when the tab key, in addition to advancing to the next slide, a player control button is activated as indicated that she has highlighted. In the simulation, the user may need to press the Tab key, a number of times, which in turn moves to the next slide and highlights the next player button. Once the user pressed Tab the required number of times, one of the controls is highlighted. In the simulation, users usually need to press ENTER after a sequence of tabs, which in addition to performing the desired action simulation, also performs the control of the player highlighted button. This could be something quick return to output and everything. That's the problem in a dirty word.
  
  I tried 'tab_no_yellow.swf' and 'tab_no_yellow_global.swf' assistants, nothing helps. The result of the use of these files has been changed. They understand without change to action by all, at all, and the user must press Tab twice to each single press in the real application.

  Thanks for your reply. I had discovered this information earlier, but still cannot get the application to work. In the end, it was of part of the solution. Here's what he had to do to things work:

  In Captivate
  -Disable the playback bar
  -Disable the 508 compliance
  In Lectora
  -Add "SeamlessTabbing" as a parameter to the .swf object and set it to "false".

  If I understand what you wanted? Have you used one of the scenarios to have feedback not appearing does not immediately? My only explained methods how to 'hide' the immediate feedback.

  This 'new' question: Yes, can be done, but you will need to use shared (or advanced) actions to raise the event to enter for each slide of the questionnaire.  It will be a lot of work, you will need to store the answer to each question slide (at least for the wrong answers) in a user variable. This answer will be in the cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice quiz system but variable is a variable system reused. You must prepare your various comments text containers (for every possible situation) which are hidden initially, but indicated on the questionnaire slide when in playback mode. This can be done with a conditional action checking the cpInReviewMode system variable (Boolean, has a value of 1 when it is in playback mode).

  I'm trying to insert a screenshot image into a page of quiz of hotspot on my site my users access - when inserted or pasted, the text in the image distorts so that you can't read.  I tried many things to fix it and nothing works.  I tried to save as a .gif, .png, .png24 .jpeg, tried to change the resolution.  I've never had this problem before.

• Drag and Drop Feedback in Captivate reg 7

  I have a drag and drop into a slide (7 Captivate) as a control of knowledge.

  Problem: I need correct feedback interaction drag-and - drop is reset whenever the learner does not return to the slide slide / move later or click on the back of the next slide button. Currently, the correct feedback is present.

  Background: The learner ends slide it / move and gets feedback 'Okay!' action show and "Incorrect" comments of the existing captivate feedback: failure. The learner then continues the lesson on the way to the next slide. The problem is that, if the learner is returned for drag / move, 'Okay!' feedback still shows even if the drag source items are reset to their original locations and the learner can repeat the interaction drag-and - drop. By clicking on the button "Reset" does not remove the existing 'Okay!' feedback. Even if the learner restores the interaction and the opposite effect (for example if the learner is wrong the first time, but then correct themselves the second time), the existing comments do not change to "correct".

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem? I understand that we need to create advanced actions. Please tell me the exact steps in this case, and if I have to perform actions on enter or exit.

  Ok.  Just a question because I saw one of the Adobe people chime in on a similar question a couple of days back.

  Unlike the quiz questions, success and failure captions to make drag and drop interactions seem to have names of elements which suggests that they may be hidden by advanced Actions.  You should try to define an action on slide enter to hide and see if that solves your problem.

  Yes, it is possible with advanced actions and using a user variable that acts as a counter. Are you familiar with the creation of variables and advanced actions?

  The idea is to not use the legends of feedback by default but use of custom captions (or forms) which are hidden initially. With each click of the meter (variable) which began with a default value of 0, is incremented by 1. In this same action you check the value of the counter and based on this value, you explain the legend of correct feedback. You hide the other legends, which is pretty easy if consolidate you.

  In what mode you saved the simulation, assessment or training?

  As I understand your question, you want a quiz results slide at the end of your training, which will show you the points earned by the learner (for boxes click and areas of text with reports), right?

  You can insert a slide of quiz (multiple CHOICE or true/false), which emit the quiz quiz results slide slide, then you can remove this Quiz Quiz results slide slide will always be there.

  You can also create your own slides of results using variables of Quiz.

  Is this a bug? I can't find any mention of it. It seems to do it with some answers. Makes it completely unusable.

  This tends to happen if you add options to answer after YOU create the question and add captions to your comments.  The last thing added to the ends up on top of the upper layers of the quiz question slide, but since you can't see these layers in the timeline panel, you can for other slides, you can not reorder the layers by normal means.

  The solution is to turn your legends of feedback and turn on again so that they then end up on the higher layers yet.

  Go to the Quiz properties for that slide and deselect the option/select legends Correct and incomplete to put them on the answer options.  Then set failure level to ZERO and return to what it was before to set the caption of failure above all.  This will remove any text you had in legends, so if you have invested a lot of time, adding text to these legends of your comments, it's a good idea to copy this text elsewhere first, so you can stick it right back in after their recycling.

• When you save the labels, they save as bmp files

  When I try to save the groups tags that I am, they want to put in the form of bmp files. I just started having this problem Sunday morning March 6. When you save them before they were very good. I have never changed a setting or anything like that, so I don't know what the problem is. But it seems that I have to run a disk clean every time I save one in order for the next to be saved with the file extension, what it is, such as PNG or GIF. • Distortion of the sound after repair of files.

  After running CHKDSK/r, (files have been repaired), my PC sound has become distorted, choppy, jumps and crashes randomly among all the game modes.  I reinstalled the drivers AC 97 and ran, "Microsoft Fix - It", diagnosis, which shows a good function and configuration.   Still the unresolved audio problem.  In the past when I had this problem I ended up reinstalling the OS, XP-Home Edition (32 bit) that cures the problem.  I'm hoping to avoid this if possible.  Help!  Any suggestions?
