I tried to contact the manufacturer of the game, but they do not seem to respond immediately. and their forums are not as useful as I thought it would be. PLEASE HELP ME!

  The message you are getting means that there is some corrupt system files that could not be fixed.  If you look in the CBS.log file , it should tell you which files.  When you do that, you can try to replace the corrupt files.  However this seems to happen whenever you update it a game then you will need to contact their support for aid as this can be a problem for them.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

• With DW CS3 since 2007. Now the AMT subsystem failure

  Today when I started the application I got the message "failed to AMTSubsystem... ' DW will not start. Assistance telephone Adobe refused to talk to me and told me to go to CHAT.  Cat said that they could help and they sent me here.  I tried Solution 2 for Windows computers that says manually restart the FlexNet service, but it does not work.  I can't deactviate the program because according to the instructions on the adobe support site, this must be done in the menus in the program and the program does not start.  I'm so caught in a catch-22 of Adobe.  I need to work on my site of employers.  Where can I get real help?

  I can't post a video on YouTube. When I try to publish the project, video editor is capable of producing the video and then I see the progress bar for the download of YouTube, but then invariably I get an error that reads "error encountered during the download of video.

  

  Running Adobe Captivate 5.5 on Windows 7, 60 Mbs cable internet connection. I have no problem with the network, the internet connection is fine.

  I tried to go in the Adobe Captivate AppData folder under my user name and trashing the Captivate 5.5 folder, reset all my preferences. I get this error pretty regularly, and it worked in the past. But not for this video. It's not too large - 22 slides, 4 minutes in length, 4 MB of files. I tried to create a new project and copy and paste the slides from the original, but I still get the error. I have tried to install Captivate 5.5 on a virtual machine Windows 7 newly installed (and updated), copy the file to him and publish from there - same error.

  I was able to work around this problem in the past of trashing the file I mentioned above - is embarrassing enough because I have to configure everything again. But at least it worked. Now I'm stuck.

  I tried to call tech support on this issue, and they advised me to try to screw up the folder.  But beyond that, they had all the ideas.

  Anyone has any ideas what to do?  Anyone else has this problem by publishing on YouTube?

  As an experiment, try to change your title for something that contains only letters (no punctuation or hyphens), does not begin with a number and has underscores instead of spaces.

  See if you are able to then publish correctly.

• Captivate 5.5 editing error

  I seem to have a problem with the publication of some projects in Captivate.  When trying to get an overview of the project I get an error that says: there is not enough memory and if the project is published, the file seems to be corrupted - the screens flicker and flash and I'm unable to view the output.  I am running Windows 7 and have improved to 6 GB of RAM.  I also tried emptying the cache.  I played around with the settings of publication - tried to outsource resources, but still no luck.  Get a little desperate.

  Any suggestions?

  Just read on your description of the issue, I think it might be due to what was baptized in Captivate as an OTS circles.

  It can be caused by a number of things:

  • There are added to an AS3 project control AS2.  So try to delete any widget, sovereign wealth funds, animations, preload and appearances.  So if this is the problem, try to add that hide them both to see if the problem reappears.
  • It can be caused by the presence of certain punctuation characters added to the Project Information or other fields of parameters.  So, look through all information fields and see if you have used any where characters such as brackets, braces, comma and quotes, equals signs, etc.  If you have any sign of punctuation like these or others, try to remove these characters.
  • Another cause may be due to corruption in the progress of Actions that cannot be deleted. Quick fix for this is simply groups of copy of slides in a new empty project, publishing after each paste action to see if she has managed to get rid of the issue.  This works because the stocks advanced and variables are not transferable from one project to the other.

  To be honest I've never seen this error message and I think it s a problem with Windows XP.
  I put t know if you have installed all the patches available for Win XP or not but I really recommend you update the operating system to the last State.

  A few days ago I installed the XP SP3. It was a beta version, but it works very well.

  Check this possibility.

• MS-DOS 16-bit on Satellite 1110 subsystem error

  Please help with this problem as im very desperate for any ideas.the problem started when the computer started to say a proper dvd decoder has not been installed, and it would not play dvds.then the driver for my dvd player 'arrested' work or disappeared as when I tried to open the drive it couldn't find the right file to do so.

  probably because of my attempt at fixing. I tried to fix this by reinstalling the victory program dvd I got with the laptop but I received a "serious error" message, "this is not a qualified toshiba machine" + 16 bit subsystem ms - dos "C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe" (next line)'(next line) 'C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS or window applications. Ive got the error of subsystem ms - dos 16-bit before just now when try to install something else, but thought it was because of the compatibility programs.

  your Satellite 1110 has normally no hardware DVD decoder, so your system wants a software decoder as WinDVD.
  Your problem seems to be that your operating system is not the OEM of Recoverz from Toshiba version because the delivered WinDVD CD only works with it!

  The best way to solve your problems is to recover the laptop and install the Toshiba WinDVD, but before you do this save all your important data as it will be deleted!

  After this procedure, your system should work fast and stable!

• Shared data varying variable published network write error

  In my project in real time, on the VI host running on my Windows PC, I try to write in a number of published network shared variables.  All these write operations are successful (which means that I can read them on the RT target, then a cRIO-9012), except for these shared variables network-published with data type defined as Variant.  I'm not sure what is causing the problem.

  .. .and going through one "in Variant' VI and then subsequently in writing to the shared variable (data type: Variant).  Diagnosis of the failure of the VI in real-time to read the data, I found that variable writing shared on the host VI produced the following error:

  Error - 2147467259 appeared to Variable shared in the PC host TTS CTRL.vi

  Possible reasons:

  LabVIEW: Unspecified error (Hex 0x80004005).
  =========================
  System OR Configuration: Various operating default (Hex 0x80004005).

  This error or warning occurred when writing the following shared Variable:
  Shared \\My Computer\Network Variables\TC trust Array Group - network
  Shared \\128.144.90.143\Network Variables\TC trust Array Group - network

  .. where 128.144.90.143 is the IP address of the PC.

  Any thoughts?

  I saw this post, and when I found myself with no other option, I have redefined the variables in question to the string data type and replaced all the "to variant" and "given Variant of ' functions with functions 'Flatten channel' and"The string Unflatten"respectively.  Initially, it did not work - functions "Chain Unflatten" would produce error 74, until I realized that the "data includes array or string of size? (T)"input on each 'string Unflatten" function must be set to FALSE. Wiring a constant false for each instance of "Unflatten to the string" seems to have corrected the problem.

  I have still no idea why wouldn t Variant.  Shared variables Editor allows to define a variant data type, so I guess it's supposed to?

• Videos YouTube in Captivate-published files are now grown on the right side. Resolution?

  I already have the Captivate files eLearning modules and published using SCORM in my LMS. The files were fine. When I saw yesterday all the YouTube embedded files are truncated on the right and have 'dead space' on the left. It's as if they all are moved to the right. I have seen discussions on changes to the YouTube videos with the YouTube result does not. My question is a little different because the videos are present, but cropped. Also, the lower bar is part and I need it for viewers turn on the closed captioning (a large part of my audience is deaf).

  Is there any solutions for this? (Note that I have not access to a video server).

  HI, Mary.  Jump again, site of Captivate said that HTML5 output is no longer supported in Internet Explorer 9 or later, Safari 5.1 or later, and Google Chrome 17 or later.  Although not listed do not, the new Microsoft Edge works very well, too.  I find that older versions of browser are disappearing, but some of the less tech savvy people I work with are still using IE 8, so I suspect that it is perhaps a question based on your description of your target audience. In addition, the HTML5 version works fully in Firefox, the latest version, which is the main reason I publish in swf and html. I have fortunately only publish in html and encourage users to update their browsers, if it wasn't for Firefox problem.

  Of course, knowing this does not solve the problem.

  Look in the folder Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Captivate directory and you should find a text file called AdobeCaptivate.ini

  In this file, there is a parameter, you must change as indicated by the error message.  This setting allows to Captivate work with the screen high resolution.

  You can see that in order to change the setting, you need to first save a copy of the file on your desktop (or another folder outside of Program Files) and then make the change, save the file, and then copy the file in the Captivate installation directory to overwrite the original file.

  Found the solution by myself.

  There were tables for the missing Scheduler.

  Solution:

  Create a new user with create session, create a table, rights of unlimited tablespace.

  After that start installation scheme within the Publisher's site.

• Captivate published file - white screen, play dead bar 8

  I published a captivate file 8, and what I see is a white screen with a play bar dead. It is not a problem of the Preloader setting. Does not work if the percentage Preloader is set at 100% or 10%. No idea how to solve this problem?

  You have no pre-test question slide or you branch to the current activated in the Quiz settings?  Which will disable the playback bar.

• Captivate 9 tab order - Error #2046

  Hey everybody,

  Cannot access dialog tab order in Captivate 9.  When I select it I get a pop up box that is empty and an error message "Error #2046".  You need to resolve this ASAP.  Any ideas?  I have stop Captivate and r-open.  Did not help.  Start a new file and still the same thing.  Help, please!

  due to unzip the software in the longest trail, we got this error.

  Solution:

  We tried to unzip the software using 7zip.

  and unpacked the software to drive direct c (shortest path as C:\BPM\)

  Then I tried to run the setup.exe file, it worked very well...
