Capture an image with CAA

Hey guys, I'm stuck in my project because of this problem.

I am trying to acquire and store a single image using the SMU-1491 NI and NI CAA, I already configured "frames" to treat 1 and everything else correctly on the Provider tab. I am trying to save this image using the user processor, the VI attached below. I have already converted to the LV 2012 because the CAA NOR demand for this version when I tried to run the process. I get an error code 1124. It is said that I uses a polymorphic VI, but I'm not, as you can see in my VI. The other possible reason for this error is that the VI has been compiled in a different OS, which doesn't make sense since I use the same PXI to create the VI and run NI of CAA.

Can someone help me? If anyone knows another way to acquire a single image using the other method please share it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi rk_tinelli,

I do not see the error you are getting, but my guess is that the VI 'converted' to LV 2012 (assuming you are using the files you've got Forum) does not also include the subVIs. Your savefile.vi calls two functions vi.lib, which are always compiled in LV 2015 IMAQ. Instead, if you have not installed LV 2012, what you need is a source distribution that includes the files of vi.lib compiled for LV 2012.

With a few adjustments, I got your code to work with the provider of the user of the CAA (attached). I used the template of the user provided with CAA processor. I copied your code to save the image in JPEG format in the model, but I plugged the path to a control to get in shape awaiting CAA. The connector pane has match for air quality Forecasting model to load, and (apparently) you must be at least one control in the configuration.

Try niPQA user CPU register Frame.vi in the attached zip and let me know if it works for you.

Another option might be to use the video Measurement Suite (VMS) instead of CAA. VMS acquires an image at a time and allows you to directly record the image in jpg/jpeg format. VMS is not a good choice if you need the release in CAA or if you are looking for a particular frame in a streaming video, but if you use a static model of the video then VMS may be an easier option.

    Hi Varoop13,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple! I'm sorry to hear that you're having these problems with your iPhone and Capture of Image. I'm a little unclear on exactly which version of Mac OS X you are using or what you see in the Image Capture, but you may want to look for a button with a circle-slash () icon; It's recent releases how Capture of image mark the delete key. It will be active when one or more images have been selected. It is also a behavior whereas the keyboard delete key will not remove the images selected, and that the delete option under the Edit menu stay grayed out. You can see some of these options, it is stated in the following article:

    Hi all

I have a problem with a T520 HP with HP Device Manager 4.7 SP4 running on the server 2012R2, trying to capture an image from a T520 HP ThinPro 6, version of the 4.7.3671.25484 agent.

There is no activity in the ftp server log when I start the process of the image. The Windows Firewall is disabled. Activating set mode cache does not work because it is not yet supported for ThinPro 6.

  • HP DM 4.5 SP2 cannot capture an image of WES2009 of T5740

We use Altiris and have problems with PXE. To deploy images that we intend to migrate to HP Device Manager 4.5 SP2. Installed on a Windows 2008 R2 and FileZilla Server. EVERYHING works fine, but when I capture an image from a thin client WES2009 T5740 custom image will not capture. The thin client EBOOT 2 times and installs some files on the workstation. After the installation of the files, the thin client is reset each time in Windows. You see a HP backupground. A windows Device Manager is popping up and restarts the workstation. No idea why it does not work. If I capture an image Windows XPe to a T5730 capture with FTP works fine. With T5740 WES2009 won't yet make the FTP connection. I tried an old image of WES2009 and the last image of WES2009. It does not work.

Today I installed the Device Manager in the production environment. The mentioned in the above 2 posts is a facility in the environment of the OTA. In production it works. Image captured from the Device Manager is saved with the option of shared folders.

  • Still valid to use FileJournalListener to capture the image of the camera in 6.0?

I'm having a problem with a screenshot of the app native camera on JDE 6.0 and the 9800 Simulator.  I use the old 'good practices' referring to the native camera app and save a FileSystemJournalListener:

The problem is that the Torch 9800 Simulator choke on it.  "I get randomly ' JVM error 104: Eception: OutOfMemoryError.  I say randomly because sometimes after taking pictures of 3-5 successfully, and sometimes it pours on the first attempt to photograph.  I've cleaned many times Simulator.

The same code works perfectly in 5.0 simulators (9550, 9530).  I can take pictures until I'm blue in the face without an exception OutOfMemoryError.

I saw this method of capture an image (using the MMAPI implementation)...

Take a photo in an application device of BlackBerry - Multimedia - Development Guide - BlackBerry Java...

.. .but I want the user to be able to have the user of the native camera of experience.  Therefore, listen to JPG file was added.  Is it still valid in 6.0?  It is, of course, to some extent, or my photo app would not work.  Is there something with log being numbered differently?

The FileSystemJournalListener is not the problem.

The exception OutOfMemoryError seems to be related sending images of native Java coding to JavaScript.

    Only one problem in 6.0.

  • Adobe RGB 1998 Workspace vs Image with embedded sRGB profile

I worked through countless published on the Web about various aspects of the profile settings of colors from all different angles. Obviously a difficult topic depending on how much you must understand.  For now, I have a question of several party who I would appreciate any feedback on of those in the know.  I'll try to summarize it briefly - it is simply in the default RGB color space setting in CS6 against opening an image that has a different embedded color profile.

    Question

    (1) is it interesting 'potential' to work in color space Adobe RGB 1998 if I open an image with an embedded sRGB profile and "preserve embedded profile?  I realize that any potential benefit could depend on the range of colors in the image itself - that is, where an image with color dull or limited range could not affected by any color profile or workspace is applicable.

    (2) if my color default RGB in CS6 space is Adobe RGB 1998 and I open an image with an embedded sRGB profile, can I convert to Adobe RGB to take advantage of the widest range when working with the image.

    (3) if I don't need to convert an Adobe RGB sRGB image to enjoy the widest range when changes but must register the image with an sRGB profile for purposes of production (out of print or Web presentation service):

3.1 should I make a copy of the image final and Convert to sRGB or I can just save as Jpeg and select sRGB for the profile to be integrated?

3.2 irrespective of how I save the final image with an sRGB profile, I would lose some advantage I might have seen while working in the Adobe RGB workspace?

I am not questioning if there is a good reason to work in sRGB vs. Adobe RGB (or ProPhoto) or under what circumstances it can matter - just trying to figure out a couple of mechanics I would work in Adobe RGB, but have a lot of things (slide previous scans etc.) than sRGB or some other built-in profile.

Also not to query the best camera settings as I am completely convinced the only way to go is to capture in RAW if the goal is a flexibility to work with the picture (I'm still shooting Fujifilm Provia 100F in my Nikon F6 but eventually will go with a good FX digital SLR when I can rotate - point being that all of the images that I work with is roughly slides scanned on my Nikon Super) COOLSCAN 5000 ED Scanner).

I understand that it is a topical subject (sRGB vs RGB etc.) and not trying to stimulate a wide debate on the issues.

Thanks for any thoughts you may have on this topic.

    Jerry Keenehan

p.s. Here is a comparison of an image of the test case of 14 CS6 Adobe class-in-a-book.  "Rev00" on the left is the original image to sRGB included with the tutorial; "Rev01' on the right is the picture where I have first of all"affected"the Adobe RGB profile, and then (through ignorance, maybe, converted - profile Adobe RGB). I did that because I noticed that I simply convert RGB perceptual colors remain the same, so that if I have 'assign' RGB profile, I certainly get a slight pop at this image - may not be noticeable in this screenshot, but I can definitely see an improvement that I love watching them side by side on my Apple LED Cinema display 27 ".

    Screen Shot 2016-05-21 at 3.43.30 PM.png

That is right. If the file has embedded sRGB, Adobe RGB workspace is unnecessary and irrelevant. He never comes into play.

You can, however, convert the file in Adobe RGB if you plan to make a big change on that, and you think you might need the extra margin of a larger color space.

If you assign a profile (for an untagged document), there is not need to convert to the same.

    Hello

Last night I had a hard time getting the image on a physical computer.  The machine is a windows 200 advanced server with Service Pack 4.  Last week, I was able to do it without any problem with the same thing.  I was finally able to capture the image after that I went into control manual (Add/Remove Programs) and remove the agent then rebooted. Has started the process more.

The log file is attached. I'm just curious as to why the problem occurred.  I used the Converter 3.0.3.

It could be a problem with the version of the converter that you use. Of the 3.0.3 release notes, in the section "problems":

New that task fails for source machine remote Windows when navigating backwards in the Conversion Wizard

When the following circumstances are present, the physical source computer does not restart:

    • You are remote hot cloning a source of Windows 2000 or Windows NT4 machine

    • The agent is installed on the source machine, but the system has not yet been restarted

    • You change the selection in the source and change to the original source before clicking on finish in the Conversion Wizard

In this scenario, the task will fail with an instant failure error message. The reboot is required to start the snapshot on the source remote machine service if this converter can take the snapshot of the machine.

You can try to use the 4.0 version converter and see if you can reproduce the error.

Yes, the services are still running.  However, it is normally recommended that you disable the services as much as possible.   If you have a lot of traffic to the server, the conversion may fail half way through.  And of course, all the changes bring users to data cannot be included in the image/converted data.  If the conversion is for dev/test, then it may be acceptable.

When I did my hot clones, it was generally after hours so that I can disable the SQL and other services.  I've done a few hot clones with services running, but there is no user logged in, so very little traffic to the title of the conversion machine.
