• How to combine real-time video with LabVIEW indicators so that the video can be displayed and saved with the overlay data

  Let's assume for the moment that I can find a device for which LabVIEW has the appropriate drivers.  Is it possible to combine the camera feed with digital indicator fields so that there is a video out showing the data superimposed on the live image?

  I'm talking about something like a screen of the camera where you see the camera settings are displayed on the image in the viewfinder.  Note I have one isn't about analysis of video data or somehow reading parameters of the camera to the camera.  Data would be temperatures, pressures, speeds, etc., acquired by different instruments at the same time the video is captured and processed somehow by LabVIEW.

  No problem Wildcatherder, don't let me give you an overview of the process.

  When you get a video acquisition method entry, it will be an image format. Essentially, it's a bunch of images that are updated at the speed of video capture, just like the material. There are screws express (wizard - like elements) that simplify the obtaining of images from your video source. With the drivers and measurement and Automation Explorer installed, you should be able to get at least the image.

  If you have IMAQ toolkit, I mentioned, you could just wire the reference image (a purple wire wavy) and a text input (say, a temperature that is converted to a string) in the text overlay VI and it would produce the desired effect. Without this, you will need to convert the Image into image (these are two different data types in LabVIEW) and use the image instead, editing tools (essentially replacing pixels in 2D image data). You would then update an indicator of the photo with your photo altered, if all goes well to the pace of the acquisition hardware. As I said this is less elegant and can take a certain amount of time processor. If you view these images at all and are just their routing, it should be slightly faster.

  I don't know about video production equipment, I mainly used entry Firewire or USB, the computer screen or the file data. However, if the driver exists, it should be possible, but a quick review of the functions doesn't seem to come with output functions.   Disabling protocols spanning-tree on the Procurve ports connected to the ESX host is going to promote a recovery more rapid port. Similarly, running global spanning tree is not recommended if you mix some VLAN iSCSI and data in the same fabric (i.. e. you do not want a STP process to hang storage IO). Spanning tree on your switches, look PVST (or Procurve BPMH) to isolate the STP VLANs unique events.

  In regard to the load balancing is, by default (route based port ID) value algorithm requires less overhead on the ESX hosts.  You may not use LACP on the Provurve the lack of facilities LACP ESX. You must use "route based on the IP hash" sideways ESX and 'static trunks' on the side of Procurve. Unless you have specific reasons why your network need loads this configuration, I'd caution against it for the following reasons:

  (1) IP hash requires thorough inspection of packages by the ESX host, increasing CPU load as load package increases;

  (2) the static configuration puts switch physics rigid and critical ESX host port mapping. Similarly, groups of ports all will fail as the Procurve batteries for management only and won't be on switches 802.3ad circuits Group (i.e. all ports of a group of circuits must be linked to a single switch) - this isn't a limitation of the port ID routing;

  (3) K.I.S.S. love port ID mix of port ID, beacon probe and failover on the port assignments you will get segregation of the raw traffic without sacrificing redundancy - even through switches.

  The best would be to extract the audio file of the publication
  (recorded). WMV video file.

  To accomplish this... just reimport the published (recorded). WMV
  file in Movie Maker and then drag it to the audio / music... then
  Publish (save the file) and it will become a. WMA audio file.

  If my understanding of this issue is incorrect, please provide

I am looking for a way to combine the features of both, namely to have the sequence of the text, but with the right css applied so that it looks correctly part of the accordion behavior.

  I have vsphere with a number of distributed virtual switches.

  I have a number of ports on each dvswitch groups.

  I want to get the names and the vlan-IDS of all port groups.

  I tried:

  Get-VirtualSwitch-name MyDVSwitch | Get-VirtualPortGroup | Select Name, Vlanid

  It returns a list of the names of port group and just empty to the VLANID. I expected to see:

  and so on. But I just get:

  any ideas? Also, I would prefer to have a script that does not specify the dvswitch by name, but rather concluded all the port groups on all the dvswitches on all clusters in the data center and listed by name and id vlan.

  It depends on your existing configuration.  If you have not specified WHAT VLAN is allowed, they would be by default.  If this isn't the case, you need to add the VLAN again to the definition of trunk.

  Too far again go to that VLAN, that also depends.  IF you have VTP really set up, you have to create the new vlan on one of the master switches in VTP (probably your 4500) and the definition spread to other switches.   If this isn't the case, then you declare new VLANs on each switch that would need them.

  I am new here and also new to work with the Dell Networking hardware. I just need to some insights into setting up a new network, that I put. We use 3 switches to N2048 for access to data and VoIP. Each port will have only have only a phone or a client PC in different VLANS.

  My question is what is the best configuration across all three powered to ensure that we have the optimum configuration for the quality of service for VoIP phones. Here is the configuration that I came up with this day.

  By default, the ports are configured to trust the priority of incoming user. So for your switch connections you can configure ports and trunk mode, there is no need to set general mode with VLANs voice, etc.

  switchport mode trunk

  For ease of deployment, I suggest to all the other general mode ports.

  switchport mode general

  VLAN allowed switchport General add 5,10

  pvid switchport General 10

  VLAN 5 voices

  With the general mode configuration, you can connect a client or a phone, or both at the same time, in a port. This will make things easy if later you decide to plug a phone in where a customer to reside.

  first set the ports as trunks via the "VLAN management'-> 'Settings of the Interface' - click on the corresponding port, click on the button"Edit"and select"Trunk"in the list.

  Once these (GE1 and GE2) ports as trunks, you can now assign all the VLANS you want through "Management of VLAN"-> "a Port VLAN membership." Select the first port (GE1), click on "join the VLAN" and select VLAN all desired from the list on the left and put them in the list on the right.

  the default management IP switch is part of the default VLAN1.   I have a few SLM2024s that I need to configure it with a few VIRTUAL local networks that allow communication between the VLAN specific.  I think I understand how to do this, with the exception of the connection to the router.  It is my understanding that I need to configure the port on the router as a Trunk port.  However, I can't understand how to do this in the SLM2024.  Not support port trunking?

  Edit: Or I'm completely wrong to think that I have to configure the port on the router as a trunk?  I can set up communication between the VLANS without trunking port?

• LGS308 Port Trunking Switch Cisco 3650

  I have a Cisco 3650 switch I need to connect my Linksys LGS308 again. I have the port trunking install everything on the side of Cisco, however, I'm not very familiar with trunking on the side of Linksys. What should the configuration looks like on the side of Linksys?
