cc2014 is not in my application manager

Im trying to download and install the cc 2014 of Illustrator app, but it does not appear in the adobe application manager. It is said CS6 and CC are current, but CC2014 is just not there. I can't understand how to upgrade the app handler, but I tried to download and install the app on your site yesterday Manager, and it does not solve the problem, I thought id try an install with the application 'product to uninstall' in the App Manager folder, thinking that I could re install and fix if all goes fine , but it says "Adobe Application Manager is necessary to uninstall your product, however it is missing or damaged. Download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager fromAdobe.com or reinstall this product", it provides a link to the download the app Manager page, but it is just the page that I had downloaded from yesterday. It still doesn't solve anything when I trying to install and I can not un install it... any ideas?

I tried all that. his snot who as "up-to-date", is showing his not appearing do not at all. It is not just in my Adobe application manager. I was just chatting with nazeem on the support site. He says it's my os. Aparently they do not support Mac OS x 10.6.8 and this is why it is not in my app Manager. This is where history I guess...

  • Not connected Secure Application Manager

    Hi all

I use Acer Aspire 4937 Windows Vista and when I load the Secure Application Manager it does not connect. I'm running under administrator and have disabled all my firewall. The icon is white instead of blue shooting.

I read a response from forum suggested running in "safe mode with network" and the truly connected secure application manager! But now how do I get it connected in "normal" mode.

    Pls help. Thank you

    leecw

    Hello leecw,

If your application is connected correctly in safe mode, this means that there is a conflict with other software or programs.

To determine which program is causing a conflict with the program in question, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. This helps determine which service or program can be the cause of the problem.

For more information about how to perform a clean boot for troubleshooting, click the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

If please reply back and let us know if this helps with your question.

  • 5 Lightroom appears as not installed in application manager

I installed 5 Lightroom (CC member) on my Mac with the Application Manager. As a first step, he has appeared on the list of installed applications. But now is no longer presents itself as installed. I can go to my applications and launch it, and it works fine. But, when I click on the Application Manager, it is on the saying of list ('find new Apps') background that is not installed.

This means that I have now to manually download and install all updates to Lightroom. Why does it not appear? How can I recognise once again that it is installed, so I can be informed of updates to the Application Manager?

The only thing I can think of that has changed since I installed, it's that I've upgraded to OSX Mavericks.

Edit: Latest version of Lightroom installed is 5.2

Shows update of Lightroom 5.7 in the application of CC desktop as 'install' rather than 'update' - confused - this behavior will change in the future, but 'install' is more or less just a LR5 update.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello

If I try to search for updates in After Effects with the menu point "updates... "I get the error"Update failed"since the Application Manager. See screenshot:

If I click on the first link I get an html 404 error ' sorry this page is not available! "* GREAT *.

If I try to start the Application Manager manually by executing this file

the Application Manager downloads an update (for the Manager himself), but the update process fails. See screenshot

All this happened suddenly and completely unexpectedly and I haven't changed anything on my computer. Updates in the past have already worked well.

This happens with all applications of the Creative Suites (CS5, CS5.5, CS6) and I'm not able to get updates for applications.

I'm a bit lost now any help is very appreciated!

    Abhijit Hey,.

because you had not replied to my last post I went my own way to fix!

    I did your steps

Rename the folder OOBE OOBE.old starting from these locations

    C:\Users\(your username) \AppData\Local\Adobe

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe

but instead of download Creative cloud of creative.adobe.com I installed AdobeApplicationManager.exe of temp folder!

It turned out that my temp folder AdobeApplicationManager.exe was the same installer as the creative cloud!

Well, first I was a little afraid that I now have creative cloud installed on my system, but I think creative cloud is the new name or the version of the Application Manager?

I also want to account for other users having the same problem that the menu/help/update... features in the CS Applications work again as expected!

    One question remains:

Could safely delete the renamed folder OOBE.old of these places without any harm to my system?

    C:\Users\(your username) \AppData\Local\Adobe

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe

Thank you very much for your help Abhijit

    Kind regards

    Felix

  • Creative cloud: Flash was not installed but Application Manager said that the program is "up-to-date".

I tried to install Flash through the Application Manager, the other day, my laptop fell asleep during installation and when I wake it back up again the installation had been frozen. I closed the Manager and restarted my laptop. The application Manager indicates now that Flash installed and that it is "up to date".

    FlashError.png

But the application is not on my laptop... I looked in the adobe folder and there is nothing for the flash. The search comes up with no results.

    FlashError2.png

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app handler, but the same thing pops up, I have no way to reinstall Flash. If you have any ideas please let me know!

    Thank you!

TimelessEdge can you please check your programs and features Control Panel to see if Flash is in the list.  If so, please run the uninstall program which should then Flash to be deleted via Adobe Application Manager.

If this is not available or you are still experiencing difficulties please try reinstalling Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773.

  • Lightroom not in the application manager

I have Windows 7 64 bit.  I've updated the Application Manager by one of the frequently asked questions.  Still does not appear.  Any ideas?  I read some stuff on install outside Manager, but it would be more comforting for me to install it from the Manager, since everything else worked this way.

I think I can find the answer.  This page

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Lightroom/KB/Lightroom-trial-CCM.html

is not all that is clear, but I think it's to say that if you have a creative trial subscription Cloud, then LR is not available at the facility as part of the creative cloud.  But you can go ahead and install the LR trial outside the creative cloud.  This seems like a very strange situation, but be it.

Yes, that's all.  I paid for my membership (approaching the end of my trial in any case) and LR is now available in the Manager.

  • Could not find Adobe Application Manager

I've just updated Adobe Application Manager from the Adobe web site, but I can't find it as an app on my Mac. Where he lives? And if it is no longer used for CC, as a subscriber to creative cloud 8 months, how I update the various applications of Adobe inistalled. Thank you. ~ Bond

If you have installed version 7, look in the toolbar at the top of the screen. You will probably find a little cloud icon. It is the Application Manager

  • 5 Lightroom does not appear in Application Manager - always downloads 4.4

Lightroom is 'up to date' display in my handler Application even if I have a full creative cloud subscription.  Downloaded and installed other programs (apps) without problem.  All simply not showing the LR 5 update.

How can I get 5 LR?

Earlier, he downloaded and installed successfully.

  • Do not cloud. What is the new update: Application Manager for?

Updates of my Adobe Design and Web Premium CS6 for Windows 7, I have purchased, gave me the option to install Adobe Application Manager.

I was expecting an update of one of the essential components with the updater, so I may have missed a text with an explanation of the Application Manager. Now it is installed, but I am at a loss why.

    1. What is Adobe Application Manager?

There is no information, not even in the help section, of this application that explains what it is supposed to do.

    I found this link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773

This link suggests, it's a kind of a one-stop-shop for installations and updates of creative products.

However, if I click on the function of updates in one of my products CS6, it does not start Adobe Application Manager, but the usual interface updates.

    2. why it displays all of the Adobe Creative products that can be run on my computer?

If it's an extension for my Creative Suite updates, then I'm not supposed to display products on the list that are not part of my Creative Suite. This is in contradiction with the information contained in the link above and suggests it's creative products Cloud.

    3. why it displays "install" next to the list of all Adobe products?

And then, if this is a General Application Manager, I expect to see States differed for various products:

    • Installation: when your product you have purchased is not yet installed
    • Update: to update the products you have installed.
    • Try: If you want to I install a product you are instereseted in, but haven't bought.

State 'install' in the sense that if this Application nursery is for Creative Cloud products.

    4. If a single creative cloud, why is it shipped to me as an update of my Creative Suite products?

I chose a Creative Suite, so why it could not detect that?

But I won't be pushed the information through the service updates on the products that I don't want.

On the other hand, seems to be an essential part of the Creative Suite, since I can't uninstall it using "Programs and features" in the control panel of Windows 7.

This application comes with many contradictions, so I hope that Adobe can specify its function.

    See you soon,.

    Dave

D.P.middleton and Garetoo would be expected behavior if you choose to install the Adobe Application Manager.  It tries to install a trial version of the software, and this is related to the creative cloud.

BTW, it's great reviews regarding the confusion that is at the origin.  We had a lot more confusion earlier with the creative cloud subscribers don't receive a trigger to update their applications depending on how they choose to open the Adobe Application Manager.  I'll come and spend your comments to our engineering team.

Because now if you do want to use a Cloud Creative applications test I advise to use the workflow to help > updates in applications to activate the part update of Adobe Application Manager.

    You Tube

    Visual Voicemail

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

For each six requests that you have listed, you can't really delete these shortcuts to application "pushed," not very easy installation. It is simpler:

To do this: create a folder on your home screen and name it "Junk" (you can choose to be more creative the folder name ). Now, highlight each unwanted icon and press the Menu key > go to folder and move it to the folder "spam". That, for each, you don't want to do.

Now, highlight this "Junk" folder, and select Menu > hide.

Out of site, out of mind. Meanwhile, feel free to complain to Verizon or their own user forums.
