  So I did as instructed and downloaded from Microsoft.com vcredist_x86.exe and installed with no problems that I could say and restarted my computer. I opened Cloud to launch Photoshop and InDesign to test them, and it says have been updated, so I ran the updates for InDesign. When I tried to launch InDesign, I received the following message: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. It does not give a code error or any other information. I did not run updates for Photoshop and can open very well now. I uninstalled InDesign and tried to run it without updates, and still, it crashes at launch, giving me the same message: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working.   I bet that you are working on a Mac. Hide the Info Panel.

  This is a known bug in CS3 and seems to have arisen again in CS4. (Some additional info on your actual system and version InDesign would have helped here.)

  OK in my case, that it is related to the RAID used on my computer, with which Indesign 11.4.1 problems, known by developers.

  Easy solution: uninstall 11.4.1, install version 11 and install the update to 11.4 and NOT 11.4.1.

  11.4 works well.

  CS6 is not supported because there is no financial sense to spend money trying to 'fix' an old program to run on a new hardware/OS with (no guarantee of success), or a willingness of users to pay for repairs when new versions are already in operation. There is no reason why you can't continue working in CS6 - do - if you don't need the features that have been added since then. You just need to run it on a compatible hardware.

  Repeatedly, my indesign keeps crashing when I try to launch it. I reinstalled, but no difference.   Please make sure that your InDesign CC 2015 is updated to the latest version 11.4.1.102, if it is not, and make sure you're trashing preferences and cache before running the InDesign update.

  If accidents are still happening, so make sure you submit the accident report to Adobe.

  In the meantime, accidents are happening with a particular document or in a specific workflow? If Yes, then please share the document as a package with [email protected] or can he us say about the actions that you perform before InDesign crashed.

  This seems to be a common problem that I'm not alone.  It started today, open InDesign and immediately failed.  Tried to erase the preferences (CTRL + SHIFT + ALT) on opening, nothing.  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing.

  I have copy and I replaced the SavedData ADMINISTRATOR files and default values (where I had no problem at the opening of InDesign) in my user (where I had problems).  This has not fixed the problem...

  Peter has already suggested this and I tried it.  This does not resolve the issue.

  I did however another Google search for "Adobe InDesign crashes on loading Trackers" and found this gem: InDesign CC crash at the start of the trackers

  where someone says delete all content inside the VERSION # files (C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\------& C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\------) for Roaming/Local.  I thought at this point what is wrong and now it works!

  Peter, you may want to advise you on your post very well explained that this could be a solution as well if InDesign cannot on 'load of trackers.

  I think I've solved this updating Suitcase Fusion 6 to its latest version, 17.3.2. I'm guessing that the activation of the plugin fonts was not compatible with the new InDesign update.
