• Laptop HP 15 t-J000 - HP Recovery Manager question

  Hi guys,.

  I have what should be a simple enough question. The laptop is as above - I am on Windows 8.1.

  My computer people at school asked me to reinstall windows 8 on my computer.  It seems that the best way to do it is through HP Recovery Manager. I have the split of 1 TB drive into two partitions - partition (drive C) system and a partition of a data (drive D). My question is this: Recovery Manager of HP software is to reformat the whole disc or only the system partition (i.e., drive C)?

  If I need to move the data from the drive to complete the resettlement, I can, but I'd much rather not.

  You "pouvez" install programs LTT, but you "shouldn't" install the Manager feature of power, after the installation of main programs. Use the management of energy on your 570.

  The upgrade of W8 pro W8.1 pro works smoothly, until I restarted Windows:

  I get the message pop up every time you start that Lenovo Energy Management has compatibility problems.

  What should I do to fix this?

  Hi, you can try to re - install EM or visit the lenovo service Web site to download one and re - install, it should be OK.

• Task Manager questions

  I don't know how they did it, but my munchkins has to my keyboard. Now, when I ctrl-alt - delete to get the Task Manager, all I get is the chart of performance; No menu or tabs! I tried to figure out how to reset it to the default value, but so far have had no luck. Help!

  Trying to implement a border layout manager (see the code), I'm having problem with the sublayout method. When the method is called, the value for the parameter "width" is 240, but the value for the parameter "size" is "1073741823' that really confuses me. I expect the value of "260" that I have tested on a simulator of Pearl.

  Can someone shed some light on this subject?

  Director of office shuts down when I try to sync my calendar (outlook)... it used to work and now it stops Office Manager and just stops. Contacts sync ok when I set up to synchronize only those. any ideas?

  My problem is solved after I took my blackberry and a laptop in the Sprint Store. they fixed everything wiping my device and reset everything up. It seems that there are some remains of remains of an Enterprise Server application that I had on my handset at one point causing sync issues.

  I just got a BB Storm today.  Installed the BB desktop on my computer Manager.  However, when I click on mamanger desktop icon to start, I get the message: "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource.  Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package "BlackBerry 8130.msi" in the box below. "I don't know what to do next.  Help!

  Have you tried ALL the steps clean uninstall? If this is not the case, try ALL of them and then restart to see if you can install the new version of the Desktop Manager.

• problem with printing: color management question

  I've been printing this document for some time now without any problem, but now when I go to print this error happens to say something about the color management is inconsistent. I tried to create a new one using an old document but nothing allows me to print. Also tried updating illustrator by CC.

  Need help as soon as POSSIBLE.

  It of just a guess, but try to assign a color profile of the document first. It is under Edit > assign profile.

  3rd party plugins you need to uninstall it, will not work in vSphere.

  I was getting a long error while trying to open PPro CS6.  I thought that I would like to uninstall just PPro CS6 and now it seems to have disappeared and now I am unable to reinstall.  My Application Manager shows the "Adobe first Pro CS6 family" to be "up-to-date".  I need to reinstall PPro CS6.  Can someone help me?

  I tried logging on my cloud account and download the app PPro CS6 once again, but nothing happens.

  -Rendering account I had to uninstall but still not only PPro CS6, and other elements.  The application manager now acknowledges that PPro CS6 disappeared.  Downloaded re and re install now.

• Basic error / exception management Question

  I searched on the dev guide, forum, etc., and I can't always find any concise information on how to handle errors or make treatment in the APEX of the exceptions.
  
  Simply that I missed it completely!
  
  For example, I want to run a prior deletion process (pl/sql), and if it fails - I don't want the following process to remove the record! I'm actually trying to remove a name before OID tns descriptor I delete my application tns name record.
  
  I'm trying to do so by the presence of a process that is called on the delete key after calculations and validations--but--with a sequence number - lower than that of the automatice rank of treatment.
  
  This should be simple, right?
  
  I'm assuming that I need to throw an exception some how in my pl/sql block when it fails; Also, make sure that the treatment STOPS - I don't want the record to delete.

  Troy,

  You can create a hidden page element, say P1_X. create an after - submit calculation to set P1_X to null.

  In the first process, if the operation fails (and you want to prevent deletion of records in the second process), set P1_X to a non-null value, for example,

  : P1_X: = "stop";

  Adding a condition (type element is null) for the second process, naming P1_X as element in the condition. The process is triggered only if P1_X is null.
