  • OfficeJet 4635: printing avery 8160 labels - correct alignment

Can anyone suggest where/how do I get help with printing labels Avery8160 on my Officejet 4635.  I tried to use Avery templates and other options on the site of Avery, Avery downloaded on Word 2010, using HP Photo Creations with labels Avery, tried to use models of success in the past on this printer, which I have not yet used for the labels.

Everything seems perfect for the labels on the computer with all the editing screen and centered, but when we print the text is not aligned in the location of the label and not all three columns are centered.  I'm lucky if three or six labels on thirty are usable.  It's @# $% & frustrating.  I too lose paper, labels and ink, not to mention my time!  I also tried to use brochure mast as suggested in a post.  That did not help either...

My last 3 in 1 HP printer does very well with the labels - they were child's play.

    Hi Trinkie.

We retested printing of labels Avery 8160 with HP Photo Creations and two different printers Officejet and could not reproduce the problem of misalignment. (We used the default device and HP Photo Creations print settings panel.)

To be clear, the options of scaling I mentioned above would be in the control panel of the printer itself, you can reach by clicking on the blue printer settings link on the HP Photo Creations print screen. (This link is between the printer and the paper size in my screenshot of menus.) I think that you have checked that. However, if you have not installed the long drivers for your printer, you will see fewer options. It's a possibility.

It is a long shot, but engineers thought that it would be possible that you are using J8160 stock. It is a format of A4 paper and would produce out misaligned.

    Hope this helps,

  • Business cards printing Avery: «the WANDERING MARGIN PROBLEM-upper margin question»

Does anyone have an idea if HP has an idea on how to charge someone to solve this problem of card perforated business stock do not print correctly?  This problem is now all over the internet.

I intend to consumerist on-site validation in the hope that they would return to the problem.

And look at all the other posts for business card printing problems that I looked into this forum and no there are no solutions.  And no huge thick shouldn't matter since everyone here has probably seen a HP catch upwards of more than 3 or more sheets of paper and print on the top, okay...

I suffer from this PROBLEM of MARGIN WANDERING too.  I have

have the printer of HP all-in-one Officejet Pro L7680, Windows XP, Office 2007, Microsoft Publisher, model Avery 8873.  I did everything correctly.  Always my business cards print perfectly on regular paper and they print directly from the upper part on the expensive card stock.  It's very frustrating.

I tried the ideas here.  I tried thick paper, map of Photo greeting, best quality and normal quality.  I tried holding my finger on the map slightly as it feeds in.  I tried folding the sides of the card upward slightly.  I get a print one out of every five success.  I'm so freakin disappointed I could scream.  I've been laid off and I put in network and interviews to attend to and I need my business cards!

Avery people are useless.  They wanted me to call Microsoft!  I kept saying 'Meg' alignment was very good for ordinary and incorrect paper with a stock of cards Avery.  I asked her if she knew thick HP for card stock printer settings.  She told me to call Microsoft.  I wonder if she was in fact an automaton that accepts no responsibility.

I thought I bought the best brand printer.  I tried the Brother brand.  They are really lousy.  I really expect HP to be better.

In the end, I got a few cards that are acceptable.  But I've lost 80%!  If you compare them they are not all aligned the same.  With capacities of shit like that I could just my printer scrap and the contract of employment at Office Depot.  Who needs this aggravation?

  • business cards printing Avery 8871 problem

I have two cards that I designed and printed without a problem until I got my HP Officejet 6600. I have tried everything I can think, but the cards (on Avery 8871) print too the top of the page. The strange thing is that they print PERFECTLY on regular paper, but when I use the card, it is turned off.  What should I do to fix this?

    Hello

Could be due to the thickness of the paper. It doesn't support that care: up to 200 g/m2 and 60 to 105 g/m2 paper

    Kind regards.

  • Print Avery labels

Is it possible to print on labels specific Avery?

    Hello

The site of Avery will be models that be downloaded to allow printing on their labels. I have included a link here.

As a word of caution when you print labels - "do not feed more than once a sheet of labels into the printer. Re-use of a sheet of labels can result in damage to the glue of the label printer. Labels must cover the whole sheet No exposed spaces. »

  • How to print Avery 8371 business cards

How can I print my business cards on models avery 8371?

    Hello JenniferKeen,

I would first check to see if there is information on the Avery 8371 design and use these instructions. You can use the following models of Avery and download.
    http://www.Avery.com/vgnfiles/op/en_US/help%20Center/staticfiles/how%20To%20use%20Templates.PDF

    http://www.Avery.com/Avery/en_US/templates-%26-software/software/Avery-design--print-online.htm?N=4294967076&refchannel=3980ac83ae70a110VgnVCM1000002118140aRCRD

    If not, try the following.

    1. in the top MS Word menu bar, click 'tools '.
    2. on the menu drop down select "Letters and mailings" and then "envelopes and labels...". »
    3. in the "envelopes and labels" window, click on 'Options '.
    4. under "Printer information" make sure you have select the right type.
    5. under "Information of the label" make sure "Avery Standard" is selected.
' 6. find your 8371 tag number in the ' product number "(8371 - card) list and click it, then click the OK" "button.
    7. now click on the button 'Print' in the remaining window.

If that doesn't help and you use Microsoft Word, you should post in the forums of Microsoft Office for Word. If you use another Office product, you can contact them for support.

Hello. If your software stores your files in a format that is designed only for this program, you will not be able to use the files with our own software. Please check if there is a way to save images as JPEGS to use in our software.

  • Several problems with the spooler of reader and CD/DVD printer

    I have a few questions:

    1. whenever I try to print, my computer gives a message: coils of the printer doesn't work,.

    2. my computer does not recognize the cd/dvd drive and

    3. I installed a pc cleaner-system mechanical Professional on my computer and it required me to reboot my system and when I did, it restarts several times and never connects.

How can I fix these problems?

What is your system brand and model?

What is your printer brand and model?

This printer has always worked well before?

If the printer has already worked before, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly?

See if you can manually start the Print Spooler Service:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, highlight it, right-click and choose 'Start' (or click on the right arrow on the toolbar at the top of the page).

When the Print Spooler Service is running, you will see the word "Started" in the State of Services column.

If the Print Spooler Service does not start, describe what is happening or any message you see when you try to manually start the Print Spooler Service.

If the Print Spooler Service starts, right-click, choose Properties, and set the startup type to automatic so it starts automatically at the next reboot of Windows.

If the Print Spooler Service does not start, click on the Print Spooler Service Dependencies tab.  The Services listed as dependencies must run first in order for the Print Spooler Service start.

Generally, you will see at least that the call Service remote procedure (RPC) listed as a dependency of print spooler.  Many other things depend on performance, so that the remote procedure call (RPC) Service usually runs all the time (or should be) remote procedure call (RPC) service.

Check and see the service remote procedure call (RPC) is running and if it is not running, start it and set the startup type to automatic too.

Verify that other Services listed in the Print Spooler Dependencies tab, locate in the Services applet and if they don't, start them and set them to automatic too.

If you don't see not all dependencies or do not understand those listed, tell us what you see listed and you can fix it.

  • HP Officeject Pro 8620 does not print avery 74467

    Hello

I just bought a 8620 Pro Officeject and need to print name badges. I bought the avery 74467 product which is not a standard size paper - that's about 1/2 the size of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.  Unfortunately, the printer does not recognize the paper and the paper size is not listed in the options of paper or find a "custom" button

Any help would be great, I need to get these done for tomorrow!

    Hi John,.

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

I don't know if you've tried or not, you might be worth a visit.

Avery has a free software that installs in Office Word:

    Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office

I just checked; the model you mentioned is part of the program.

If you do not have access to the word, I believe you can use the program online (on site), and then print the output on your printer.

The nice thing about this version of the software, once again, assuming that you have the floor, is that the output creates a Word document format (.doc / .docx)-no types of proprietary software.

Click on the Thumbs - Up Kudos to show that you appreciate the help.

    Hello

I have already heard this with avery paper, I thibnk its caused by the mark on the paper, if I remember correctly a blue logo on the top of the paper. Try this as a test, cover the blue logo with a thin strip of white paper, so stick on or cover it with Type-ex.

  • 8610 HP does not print Avery 5160 labels

I'm trying to print labels Avery 5160 of the word. I get an error on the printer I use the printer of good size. I tried different sizes, but not luck. Any ideas?

Ok.  You can try a few more things?

Let's try printing from another program outside of Microsoft Word and see what happens.  Here is a PDF file that you can download / open.

    http://www.onlinelabels.com/printermargins.aspx

What happens when you try to print the PDF at the link above on the label sheets?

Also - can you please try changing the 'Labels' media type in the media type settings.  These type of support should be under options when your print dialog box opens.

    Thank you.

  • How to print avery labels simply in CS5?

I am a former user of the editor, who, for all his faults (and they are many), had a really nice feature. You can create a unique label and then set the editor to print this label 30 times on a page, mimicking an Avery 5160 label configuration.

Can I have a similar option with any of the CS5 programs or am I locked in the design of 30 labels on one page?

    Thanks in advance,

    Christian

Look at the features step and repeat InDesign. That will do what you want!
