  • CD/DVD-Rom drive does not not on Equium A100

I installed a webcam, and it made my DVD - rom drive does not not with all drives. I uninstalled everything to do with the webcam and it still does not work. Can someone help me solve this problem without using the recovery disk of the product came with my laptop?

I had this problem before, but I didn't the first time, it's the webcam that has caused the problem. It s webcam trust wb - 1400T. I had to use the product recovery disc and he had a lot of hassle to install all my programs again and this time I'm in the middle of exams and can't get it all done in time for my exams, as I have vital work on here I have to do.

.. .Please help me... I think it is the driver, but I don't know how to fix it.

    Hi mate

    > I installed a webcam, and it made my DVD - rom drive does not not with all drives
To be honest I have never seen that the webcam may have a negative influence on the internal CD/DVD drive.
I see really no connection between the webcam and ODD... very strange
Do you get any error messages?

    Anyway, in my opinion, you should try these solution ideas;

    (1) remove the drive from the Device Manager CD/DVD and restart the laptop. After restarting again the operating system should recognize the STRANGE and should re-install the drivers.

    2) access the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    .. then restart the laptop.

    (3) download and install the tool freeware "CCleaner". This tool repairs registry and solves several problems in System.

If this does not work, then the new installation of the OS would be wise to check if the problem could be related to a software problem.

  • CD-ROM drive does not all discs.

Well, today I bought a new wireless router, and I had run the installation wizard. I opened the CD-ROM drive, insert the disc, and then closed and waited. After a few minutes, nothing. I opened and closed several times and still nothing. I put another disc and it does not read or the other.

Can someone explain why the drive is not working or read all disks? I spent $70 on the router.

The drive does not has nothing to do with the router. You are able to read one of your usual cd? Have you tried a cd lens cleaner? If it will read something other than the disk, there is a lack of drive (in this case, sigh...) or other Setup has detected and blocked the autorun and the setup.exe for some reason any. This you can check click with the right button on the device and choosing 'Explorer' and not 'open '. If it shows you the files on the disk, right-click on the setup.exe file, click Properties, and make sure that you have permissions to run the program under the Security tab. In addition, the first of the properties tabs will specify if windows has blocked the executable to start and will give you the possibility to activate or enable it via the checkbox. • Toshiba Q300 480 GB HARD drive does not start after migration

    Hello

I bought a disc of Q300 489 GB to replace a small 840EVO of Samsung. I used the toshiba tool to clone the smallest to the largest player. However when the clone is finished and the reboot of the machine the machine hangs just at the start of the process (before starting windows 10). If I go back to my little samsung it starts without a problem.

I tried to treat twice with NTIEcho and also tried with Partition AOMEI tool, all attempts have failed to start on the Q300 drive.

I am just tempted to refer the reader to Ebuyer, getting another Samsung. Maybe Toshiba can tell me how to get the drive working properly?

    Regards Sean

PS. can someone direct me to a page where I can raise a ticket of Toshiba, I would be grateful. There seems to be some links broken on the UK site.

    Hello.
Do you have an error message when the operating system does not start? Appearing in AOMEI Partition Wizard you have been used during the replacement of the Samsung drive?
After the largest disk cloning, you may need to change the boot settings in the BIOS or to remove the previous Samsung drive to test.

  • After the new HARD drive does not start installation Qosmio G15

I just got this G15 last week and one of the hard drives was bad. Put it in a new Bay 2 and it does not start. I took it back and it starts fine. I even changed the main hard drive Bay 2 HD and it starts up fine with a hard drive. It's something to do with the scores, I think. Any help appreciated.

    Hello
I think that the boot order has been the bad HARD drive in the BIOS.
At the new disk you do not installed any OS, and in my opinion, this is a reason for starting problems.
Simply access the BIOS and change the boot order

  • DVD - Rom drive does not

I just had my Dell Inspiron 1318 in the shop for service, and when she came back I had to reinstall a lot of my old software.

The Sony Optiarc DVD +-RW AD - 7640A DVD - ROM drive in my computer didn't have to be replaced at the shop and worked well for the first hours of operation of the system. I had reinstalled Office ' 03 and Roxio DVD burning software and it would try to install something else when the drive has stopped working.

I also run updates of the system before you attempt the installation of Office 2003, etcetera.

When I insert a disc in the drive, it produces noises as if she is trying to run or to read the CD before ejecting again.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2, almost completely updated.

I tried a system restore to the last point of operation disc drive, and then I tried to update my drivers. When he said that I had the more recent/better driver, I uninstalled the device and rebooted. Finally, I tried the Mr. Fix - it on the Microsoft Web site. Nothing has worked.

Anyone happen to know what is the problem? I need to have this drive works in short order and I really do not have to return the system to the shop for repairs more literally the day after getting it.

  • External Combo CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive does not work with USB 1.1

    Hello world

I have a problem with the PA3352E - 2 CD 2 CD-RW/DVD COMBO USB 2.0. A colleague is owner of this car and use it on a NB DellC610 with Windows XP on it. The problem is that the drive does not work with this type of nb (with a NB from Fujitsu-Siemens newest there no problems); There is always an error message about "surge." I think it has to do with the USB 1.1 because the player seems to be built for USB2.0. Is it possible to use this drive correctly with usb1.1 (ok, the flow is low, but more important is it works in general)? Unfortunately his nb will not work with USB 2.0...

Thank you very much in advance.

    Kind regards

    Hello

AFAIK this external must have a power adapter. You use it too? I'm not 100% sure, but there are difference how much power Gets the USB slot. Toshiba notebooks is around 500 my and some producers another laptops send between 300 and 500 my. The external device requires approximately 700 my.

  • Aspire 5552 laptop cant restore as CD-Rom drive does not now

I've updated to Windows 10. I have discovered from Acer that my laptop is not compatible. Oops. I want summer to completely clean my laptop back to its factory condition that I had a few glitches and blue screens. I have the backup disks that I created when I got the laptop, but now my dvd drive does not at all. If not, how can I do this? Any help is appreciated.

OK so I thought I would add this in that I just talked to someone from Acer support. They suggested that the first thing you can do is to roll back to Windows 7 by following the steps on this page...

    http://Acer--UK.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/37930/kW/roll%20Back

Then, you use an external optical driver, use the recovery CD to take back to factory settings. I check on amazon and an optical drive is only £10-20 so might be useful to take just one punt on this.

    Hope this helps someone else.
