CEF helper
Recently, I said hurt with my iMac Mac Book Pro and 27 ". Both started suddenly slow and my Macbook overheated and had to have the motherboard replaced twice. Now it is overheating again and my desktop computer is too slow with the fan rotating at high speed, whenever I have Creative suite of programs running. A friend recommended that I look the Moniter activity in my Utilities folder. This review that on both computers a program called CEPHtmlEngine Helper uses constant drain of 25% on each of the 4 drivers on both systems. Coming out to a score of 108% or more than one processor running continuously even though I am nothing do but have a file open full time.
Can someone please explain why it takes so much processing power, costs of the two systems to run very slow and hot, costing me even the replacement cost of a motherboard and losing many hours of my precious time. I can't be the only one with this problem.

To summarize what has been discussed.
First of all, there was an update to the Adobe Creative cloud application that solved this difficulty. Please make sure you use the version 1.1.2.232 or later.
You can find the current version by opening the Applicaton of creative cloud and then by selecting Preferences from the screenshot below:
You can then go to general > account and you will see the version number. Please see the image below for an example:
If you already use version 1.1.2.232 or later then the next step is to leave one reopen the creative Cloud desktop application. This often times allows the tabs updated correctly and the the support of Adobe CEF application CPU usage decrease.
If you continue to experience difficulties with the high utilization of the processor and then copy the instructions above for sign on and in the creative cloud application. Again, this allows generally the CPU usage go back to a normal level of 1 to 3 percent.
Finally, if none of these steps helped you can leave the creative Cloud Desktop application and continue to use your Adobe Creative software titles. Adobe Creative software titles included with the membership of creative cloud will not be affected by the application of Creative Cloud Desktop has been closed.

I get a message from Adobe cef stop help tool. I have to click 'OK' to get my machine stopped every time. Have I not a conflict between Acrobat XI and Photoshop CC. Can I uninstall and reinstall Photoshop? Do I need the assistance programme, and if not, how can I remove it?

- Reboot the computer.

My CC is display I have 3 update, but my application manager does not open. Help, please...
I need to update on my creative cloud but my application manager does not open. I tried in the drop down menu and all I get is the spinning wheel, indicating it to load. When I try to my Doc nothing icon it bounces then nothing happens. I am unable to access and part of the CC in the menu dropdown. So far, all my apps work fine, but I would like to make the updates before they get glitch.

Please, try the following steps, assuming it is a MAC:
(1) open the activity monitor and Force leave Adobe CEF Helper creative cloud, Adobe CPI broker & Crash Deamon if they are available.
(2) try to open it, if does not work then go to Applications > Adobe Creative cloud > right click > Get Info > click the Add > select the user to which you are connected to > give read and write access.
(3) if it works then enable the root user and the launch to date, visit this link on how to activate/sign in to the user root activation and using the user 'root' in Mac OS X
Please let me know if it's Windows, I'll send you the steps already.

Application error to support CEF in the shut down Windows
Whenever I closed Windows 8.1 I get the fol; due the error message BUT only if CC is still ongoing. "Application adobe CEF Helper.exe error. The instruction at 0x5d76cad0 referenced memory at 0x5d76cad0 the memory could not be written. If I close CC during my Windows session and run on one of the three applications, I installed LR5, PSCC and bridge of the stop error does not occur then. Some all pass but was hoping a CC update could fix this bug

2 reasons that I see at a single glance, you have installed MacKeeper Malware, did the uninstall instructions and uninstall. Also, your Crashplan backup system is designed for continuous operation and is known to make slow systems. I would not recommend the use of this system or this time by backup only when you are not using the computer. Many users on these forums use local HD and Time Machine and then another external hard drive to create a clone of their system bootable using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper.
Finally, you have purchased a basic applications iMac system and driving high powered (using resources). Type to buy a scooter 10HP and he expects to go to commute 250 miles a day at 80 mph. It will simply not do!

I'm having a problem which I can't isolate.
WiFi on the MBP shuts off and allow me to turn it back on without having to restart the laptop.
That happen all the time and it seems that she may be related to some applications, but I can't be sure.
It feels like it happens more when I play Minecraft but it seems okay if I play online or on mine. It happened once or twice using Adobe CC.
Support recommended to try safe mode next time it happens but, given that the problem goes away when I re - starts, I can't tell now if WiFi works due to Safemode or just put it back in operation.
Doesn't look like there is anything here, but here is the etrecheck if you want. OS X Diagnostic mode enabled up to nothing more.

MBP has changed to new iMac - the problem persists

I can't believe I'm still having the same problem after a water landing forced my MBP mid-2012 and invest a lot of money in the new iMac. Now I'm sure this is the problem of the El Capitan, not the hardware. Especially after the last update of the system.
Everything was going fine until last week when my iMac suddenly started to have some kind of hiccups - mouse ceased to answer at any time (100% battery), pages began to load really slow and sometimes only has not at all and Adobe apps began to plant without any particular reason. Nothing has changed and I haven't done anything unusual when it was absolutely new and running like a beast.
The thing that is interesting to me is the use of the CPU and RAM. Why the hell is happening? I do not understand why Safari does need juice both by the love of God because no matter how much it will be, he will use it. I thought that changing from 8GB to 32GB it will solve the problem. Boy, I was wrong...

I wonder about these extensions Safari and internet plug-ins.
Safari, as all browsers, I fear, is a memory hog.
As a temporary solution, simply exit and restart Safari can mitigate the problem.

Hello!
I loved using my MacBook Pro. It's REALLY slow. I read all the posts on how to solve the problem and we have tried most of them. Still slow. Nothing wrong with the battery, speakers, etc. Simply slow to move, slow to open apps, beachball for days, takes forever to edit video and audio. I ran EtreCheck as suggested by another user, and here's the summary. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

I have no idea what you have tried, but your HARD drive is suspect. Start 4 option on the partition recovery and in the menu select disk utility. Run disk utility > first aid > repair. If the HARD disk is not repairable the disc must be replaced.

Contact v8.2: enter and edit are very, very slow
After the update to OS X Yosemite 04.2016, seizure or changing data of Contacts v8.2 is unbearably slow. Even by selecting a field or copying and pasting are ridiculously long.

Try a reboot.
Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolate a problem by using a different user account
If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account. Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

My Macbook Pro has been constantly been too slow in terms of open any application, open any file and graphics intensive anything running. I get a spinning beachball animation almost everytime I click on something. I ran a benchmark EtreCheck and ask me for help on what is perhaps exactly the cause of this based on the benchmark index. Uninstall the following programs worthless;
Avira
CleanMyMac3
Intego
After removing these programs using the procedures to uninstall for them and do not do just a drag & drop them into the trash. All programs of the pieces themselves everywhere in the OS on your Mac and the only way to get rid of all the crud is to use the uninstall procedure.
Once you do this, please run another report from EtreCheck and post it here. So that we can be sure that it is not something that we've missed.
