  I just got a new laptop Lenovo Z51, model 80K6002QUS, lit, implement all downloaded some programs for my academics (programming, AutoCAD, Microsoft, Skype, etc.) and the center of Solution of Lenovo (LSC) have also downloaded.

  I have done a scan with the LSC full diagnostic equipment and found my new laptop passed all tests except the SMART short self-test and the SMART self test drive. For these two areas, the LSC has given a 'warning' instead of 'passed' as others.

  I turned off my laptop and it restarted this morning. I ran a quick scan of material for only short SMART and Drive Self Tests and would have said LSC they both passed. I ran another full, although quick scan with the LSC and it has passed the tests of SMART again without any warning.

  What does this mean? Won't the LSC or my hard drive has fixed itself somehow? I'll do another scan of diagnostics later today.

  I found and read your other post regarding this problem and in my opinion the PCI Express error is related to a PCI device (i.e miniPCI module as WLan / Bluetooth, etc.) connected to the motherboard.

  Of course I can't say for certain that this question isn't related to a GPU malfunction.

  Lenovo Solution Center is not necessary for your system to operate normally.  You can decide to remove it, or not.  Totally to you.

  There was a period of 2 to 3 days towards the end of the month of October where Lenovo System Update would be installing a new version of SHAREit even if it was previously uninstalled.  This problem should not happen again.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

  I tried a system restore, but the disc does not start, also tried to access the bios and it does not work.

  In my opinion, this must be just bad luck.

  PCI Express error means generally that a PCI device on the motherboard has started to malfunction.

  I can understand that you are not happy with the current situation. Nobody is happy if the computer starts to malfunction, but it of not always easy to tell which is the reason. For the exact diagnosis, you need professional tools and these tools available only to an authorized service provider.

  Can you check something for me? One, can you try to disconnect the cable between the PXI and PCIe cards and try to restart your machine. When you do this, you still see the message? I know that you mentioned in your first point that the chassis is turned on when you see the error message, so I'm just trying to clarify what you mean by that.

  I currently have two monitors, ASUS, but these if overwrite problems began before I had two monitors so I ruled that out.

  Edit: Nothing else seems to be wrong, it restarts normally and worked quite well other than the gel.

• ThinkStation S30 + question Plextor PX - AG512M6e PCI Express SSD

  We try to do the Plextor P6e working with S30 as boot drive. For now - no luck. Playing with different settings of BIOS S30 - not made no difference. This PCI Express SSD drive is bootable, without driver, with a clean ROM with AHCI implemented. Logo of ROM shows same at startup. However, it seems that S30 does not know what to do with it. SSD itself supports UEFI boot and legacy.

  If the Windows installation (7) is started from DVD, he sees SSDS as 'disc', but it cannot be partiitioned and there is a message, windows cannot be installed on it, since it cannot be boot drive. We have cloned the SSD HARD drive Windows installation; S30 doesn't recognize it, then will not start.

  Can anyone help?

  P.S., Plextor itself is not a problem, works well with many other computers, even with Lenovo M91p...

  Edit - Update: option Legacy - no go, UEFI - install windows on a SSD OK (GPT partition), but freezes or bluescreens when WIndows loads...

  Quick update:

  -Win 7 installation inherited / boot - NO GO

  -Win 7 UEFI install / boot - finally working with some really weird BIOS settings: all parameters must be UEFI, only video OpROM must have the value of legacy... If it is defined in UEFI, Win 7 starts, but display is frozen at "start windows". Also, he needed a few reboots it got finally work without errors...
