Certificate chain from... wasn't confidence causing failure of SSL handshake.

When using a remote WLST script and execution of order...

nmConnect ("" weblogic', 'weblogic', ' 192.168.2.101 ', ' 5556', ' mydomain "")

I get the following error...

< security > < BEA-090542 > < string from... certificate wasn't confidence causing failure of SSL handshake. Check the certificate chain to determine whether to trust or not. If it must be reliable, then update the customer made trust CA configuration to approve the certification authority that signed the peer certificate chain. If you connect to a server of WLS is using demo certificates (Server default WLS behavior), and you want this client to approve certificates demo, then specify - Dweblogic.security.TrustKeyStore = DemoTrust on the command line for this customer. >

I did what suggests the added - Dweblogic.security.TrustKeyStore = DemoTrust error and the wlserver_10.3/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks to my classpath, but it do not solve the problem.

Is there a configuration on the server itself I have to do?  Or additional configuration for the customer?

Thanks in advance.

I found the problem.  For some reason any example I used whole-Dweblogic.home.  This withdrawal has solved the problem.

  • Certificate of ISE chain is not the confidence of Clients WLAN

    We run ISE 1.1.3 using Entrust cert signed by Entrust sub CA L1C, which is signed by Entrust.net 2048, which is in all the major BONES stores in the approved form (Windows, Android, iOS).

    We have installed a file PEM concatenated with all certificates in the chain, as shown in the records of ISE. The ISE GUI shows all certificates in the chain individually after importation (i.e. the chain works and is good). However, we are not sure if the ISE sends the entire chain to WLAN clients during the EAP authentication or just the ISE cert due to the error message we get on client all types that stipulate that the certifiicate is unreliable.

    So the question is if the ISE really sends the entire chain or just his own cert with the rest of the cert in the string (which would explain why the WLAN clients complain related to approval of certificate.)

    Anyone out there know if the ISE code isn't up to the shipment in the chain of certs in version 1.1.3 yet or if there is an explanation? Screenshot attached of the iPhone to request verification of cert.

    Hello

    I'm having the same problem with ISE 1.1.1 and I have discussed this thing with Cisco (Expert ISE) and he suggested that the best practice is to use the single certifiacte device and then download intermediate root certificate and certificate root in the ISE certificate store. The ISE will send to the full certificate chain - device > mid-range > root. But the problem is with Apple iOS even when the root signature is already approved, it will ALWAYS ask certificate known either accepted. When I use Windows, it works very well what this means that ISE sends the entire string. For Windows, you must explicitly trust CA under the wireless profile properties > Security > Micrsoft PEAP > settings > validate the server certificate, and then select your CA server.

    I always find out why iOS not accepting is not the string and we find some related discussion on the apple support forum. I'll put you on this.

    I hope this helps.

    Help, please.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Hello

    You may have the whole chain.

    A note aside on the issue of departure indicated - if you do the same conversion for some reason things don't work well. The work is as follows,

    1. tell certifcate user export to a file, utilisateur.cer
    2. remove the baptistery of the user of the ewallet.p12
    3. import the user certificate in the file that you created in step 1.

    It should work smoothly. HTH.

    Kind regards

    We've been through this process with all 6 of our vCenters. It turns out that it was the only one with a problem. I suspect it's because the old length of cert has 512 MB, while the others, who were an installation vCenter fresh and not upgrades, created a cert 2K.

    Remove and then reinstall vCenter 5.5 only fixed the problem.

  • How do to this chain operation looks simple but causing a lot of time to do :)

    Hi all

    I have a very large chain, i.e. the soap xml response send by server that I read once connected to the server using http, now the problem is that I need to create a Document out of it and analyze what is simple but the answer I get server requires many replacements of string as example 1) replacing "<" with "<"  2)="" replacing="" ">"="" with="" "="">" etc before creating a document out of it now there are many such replacements in the sending of the response from server that takes a lot of time. 5 minutes on the emulator. So my question is how do? Is there a native method to replaceAll occurrences of a substring in a string or while I can use or is there another good way? Please let me know thx.

    Thank you

    Sagar

    We took over a project done by someone else, and they were doing exactly what you do.  Here is their source, which I think is more effective that you give it a try if you want.

    But be aware that I have never used or tested this code.

    I guess you pull that string to the center of your SOAP response.  It has been encoded XML.  So you can do what we did in this case and wrap the string as a data element in an XML element and then use the XML parser to get the actual data, which feed us an XML parser again to get the actual data.  XML is already set up to deal with these characters, so it was more effective than the approach to replace.  Actually to be honest, it wasn't the reason we exchanged, that as part of the parser XML meant we were convinced it was done correctly.

     public String replaceAll(String source, String pattern, String replace) {
            if ((source != null) && (pattern.length() > 0)) {
                final int len = pattern.length();
                StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();
                int found = -1;
                int start = 0;

                while ((found = source.indexOf(pattern, start)) != -1) {
                    sb.append(source.substring(start, found));
                    sb.append(replace);
                    start = found + len;
                }

                sb.append(source.substring(start));
                return sb.toString();
            } else
                return "";
        }

  • Certificate disappears from the Certification authorities store of trust roots

    Recently, I tried to connect to the network wireless protected at my University.  The process is to install the root certificate and specifying as trusted root certification authority when you configure the wireless authentication settings.  However, the installed certificate does not appear in the list of CAs root of trust, despite my having (supposedly) the certificate successfully installed Racines (TRCA) trust in the Certification authorities store.  I studied the certificates by running certmgr.msc (in particular, I searched this program name, right click and choose "Run as Administrator").  The certificate was not in the TRCA folder.  I've tried several things:

    • Installation of the certificate through the certmgr program: I click the TRCA file and in the window 'Object Type' I double-click the Certificates folder.  In the toolbar choose Action-> all tasks-> Import...  The Certificate Import Wizard as I navigate on the certificate, click the button "Place all certificates in the following store" and navigate to the Certification authorities folder roots of trust.  I cliquerai on finish, and after a few seconds, I get a window saying that the import was successful.  The list of certificates in the TRCA store hot flashes, but the new certificate does not appear.  I think it is automatically removed from the TRCA Bank when the list of certificates is updated (see below).
    • According to the method described above, I am unable to install the certificate in another folder (for example personnel or trusted publishers) except the TRCA folder.  The certificate continues in these files when I refresh or restart the certmgr program.  I am able to copy the certificate, then paste in the TRCA folder, and in this case it actually appears.  However, she disappears from the TRCA folder as soon as I click Refresh or restart the Manager.
    No idea why the certificate is in the process of disappearance?  The TRCA is protected somehow?  Thanks for your help!

    Help, please!  I try to install the last "10 important updates" for Windows, which I was informed automatically.  I tried 4 times in 2 days now and each of them settled due to the 'error Code 606'.  When I click on "help", he pulls up "WindowsUpdate_00000646" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" If that's any help.  Each time, it goes through all the motions, past by restarting as usual, then I get the same reminder of updates, showing "failed" on all of them.  I have not had this problem before.  I don't know what to do to get these updates installed.  I NEED HELP ASAP!  I am a user of impressive program but not at all a geek who can solve the problems that arise, and I have no one to turn to in my personal circle.

    First of all try to install updates when you're disconnected from the internet.

    If no joy, then try to manually download the same and install.
    You can search the individual updates here:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

    He just put in the KB number and then perform a search.

    If this still creates one problem another thing you can try is disable the User Account Control first download before the update manually. See: (Guided Help: settings to adjust user account control in Windows 7):
