Change the FPS in first Elements V7.0

Hello

I have a video I want to reduce the default 30 FPS to something less, to see if I can reduce the size and the quality I need to fall.

The 1 min 6 sec AVI I get by default export is 247M.  I can run through of Xilisoft Video converter, by selecting 'normal' default for video and Audio and get a SWF of 4 M, but the quality is not very good.

I wanted to try to reduce the FPS in the original AVI and then run through the converter, to see if I can get a higher quality, still small SWF.

With the help of the ' export-> video - it seems I have select DVNTSC which creates 29.97 FPS or DV Pal, which creates 25 fps.  None of these options allows me to try to set the FPS.

Is it possible to change the FPS in Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0 and if so, how? or other suggestions to reduce the size of the ultimate video saved in SWF.  Thanks in advance

Peggy

Peggy,

If you go to Flash, I use sharing and choose Adobe Flash Video. Choose the Preset and then choose your desired FPS.

Good luck

    It's because you copy the title, which creates a clone. Change and it changes the other.

    As I show in my book, Amazon, what you really want to do is title duplicate in right-clicked on it in the components panel of project and selecting two copies.

    A duplicate makes a copy of the title, but this copy is independent and any changes that will make her to this single copy.

    You can change the speed/duration without changing the pitch by ticking the 'Preserve Audio Pitch' to clip speed / duration dialog.

    If you use time-remapping (which is a fixed effect), it is n/a, because the time remapping effect only affects the video track.

    what you need to do is the following:

    -Open your template (not ESD)

    -define a format of characters (i.e. crosslnk) and change the font color of blue

    -Add the tag in front of both of your cross link formats (number and numbers and text)

    Unless you have the information in front of you, please download and install the video properties MediaInfo reading program to determine the frequency of images or your video frame rates. Cell phone video is often characterized in variable rate which can (not always) create problems to get imported, video audio out of sync...

    MediaInfo - download reviews and free software - CNET Download.com

    Be on guard for any unwanted alongs carry with the MediaInfo. Excellent program, but those carry alongs can be a major nuisance. The reading of this program will tell constant compared to variable rate.

    Also check the display to confirm that you are working with progressive video and not interlaced.

    If variable rate, the next step would be to take video in brake hand and export it as H.264.mp4 with a rate constant, not variable. Use the median between the min and max.

    We will follow to your results.

  • How to change the volume of the clip in first Elements 9

    Hello.

    I'm sure that the answer to this question is obvious, but I seriously can't understand it!

    I use PE3 for several years and so will have some problems adjusting to PE9.

    In PE3, on the right-hand side of the screen, I used to be able to quickly, click on "volume" and the volume of the clip simply by highlighting figures "0,0" and put in my own number. "." I use this feature a lot, so I really need to be able to do something similar in PE9. I realize that I can do it by clicking and dragging on the yellow in the clip volume line, but I don't find that very tedious and precise, and many would prefer a method similar to the one I used in PE3.

    Thanking you in anticipation of your help,

    Rach

    PS on a completely different subject, I did what I believe to be an interesting discovery. Whenever I try to open Microsoft Outlook to the around, same time I open PE9, PE9 not open or work properly. The same thing happened with PE3. The only way I found to get around this is to shut down the computer and then start again (ensuring to I wait until PE9 is completely open before opening my mail folder).  Nobody knows what this shock?

    If you make adjustments to the Volume of the Clip, then Yes, you must select the Clip.

    For the Audio Mixer, which adds track Volume keyframes. Here, you don't want to choose any Clip that you apply the changes to the track. You can apply keyframes to track automatically statically, which changes the whole piece or dynamically, which will allow you to increase or decrease the Volume of the track, as you wish.

    I highly recommend that you first check the help files for the keyframes and then look at the items of Steve Grisetti on Keyframing in Meadow on Muvipix.com, because they are so powerful and very useful. Once you get off the concept, you regret, because of the power. Keyframes can be applied to so many effects, motion > size (Zoom), Motion > Position (Pan), or to others, such as the Volume, to settle issues over time.

    Good luck

  • Missing files after changing computer with Adobe first Elements 9

    Hello

    I recently changed my computer, and I installed Adobe first Elements 9, I had on my old computer. I actually changed my computer hoping that it would be better, because she was always crashing on my old computer. I tested it, I created a new project and everything went very well. But of course, I also want to continue my old editing projects. The problem is that, even if my library is organized as with my old computer, Adobe Premiere is not able to associate the files in my projects at their source. If each of my files (sounds, videos, music, effects) are not recognized, and I need to restore one by one by clicking on them and the research in my library. Now, I quickly realized that I could not go that way, because I'm editing of thousands of files.

    But I have trouble believing that there is no way first can recognize files by itself, like iTunes can do when the music is missing. I mean, first knows exactly how the missing files are supposed to be, then why couldn't he find them? Does this mean that if my computer was broken, I could not able to change my old projects on a new? This makes no sense.

    Thanks in advance,

    Thanks for the reply.

    To check the version... Please open Premiere Elements in his chronology workspace. Go to Menu Help / about Premiere Elements. The top of the screen that opens should include a version 9.0.1 if you have downloaded and installed version 9.0.1 and work from it.

    Please consider the following strategy and see if it solves the problem... just do it for a project as a series of tests...

    1. back to the computer 1, open your project and determine that it opens with the media source associated with the project.

    2 create a folder "copied" using File Menu/project Archiver and its choice of copy a project.

    3 transfer the folder "copied" 2 hard drive... maybe with USB Flash drive.

    4. Ouvrezledossier "copied" on computer 2, find the project file (PREL), right click, select open with, and then Adobe Premiere elements 9.0.

    The project opens in the Adobe Premiere elements 9.0 on the computer 2 with all its current source media?

  • A specific point in the video gives first element crash

    Hey

    I have a problem that is PISSING ME OFF!

    I have a video file recorded with Dxtory, minecraft, and most of the video is very good. Does with errors or crashes in Windows media player.

    BUT then I took the video and play, at one point in the video, it blocks first elements, no error message, no point of freezing, just "Adobe premiere has stopped working".

    This bug or what ever it is, is a deal with the video file, because I can through the video what ever I want to first elements, and if he doesn't have a Xvid codec, its fine. (Yes I checked if the video file is Xvid and it's not)

    I tried to convert the file to mp4 = new show = just audio

    I tried to compress the file = problem = elements like Xvid

    I tried to run a booster mode, reduce half of the edited video, make the first part without problem = always crashing to the point of 'crash' (if this isn't a memory issue)

    Y at - it no great beautiful man with the answer to everything, who can help me please?

    Thank you

    Yes the links didn't directly help me with my problem, but they helped with something that could prevent this problem.

    The codec-links gave some good information about the weird codec using the Dxtory and also some alternative codecs. I for example will use codecs without loss as an alternative clean "Lagarith lossless codec" or Dxtory´s, called "PackBit codec" and hopfully not having this problem again.

    Now, what I did, was like John T Smith said, using another program to change. But what I have, I found the drop point which was in my video, is 00:13:41:26 gone 11sec back up 00:13:30:00 and make a cut, went from 19 sec before the drop point and makes another cut. I then removed the video clip that I did, so I was left with a g 30 sec.

    Then I went to Windows Live Moviemaker and made an exact replica of the clip I just removed, rendered the clip moviemaker and placed in the ATM in my project to create items.

    It worked fine with no crash! The only down side is these 30 seconds, there is a small decline in quality and a little switch in the sound, but who better than nothing

    Thank you both very much for helping me! With the new codec I got of hunts to the links, I will hopefully not encounter this problem again, and if I do, John T Smith helped me with the solution of movie maker.

    Thank you!

    Have you updated 13 to 13.1 still using Help Menu/updates to date of the open project? If this isn't the case, please do so that we can go further in the case.

    In your reply, please indicate if the same thing happens if you work in the flesh live instead of working space Expert.

    Can I assume that narrative was created using the tool of Narration 13 items first? What happens if you create clip of narration as in Audacity wav file and then import this file wav in first 13 items with add media files and files/projects for which assets you do drag the wav on a numbered audio track, see what happens and take it to the way of the narrative, see what happens.

    Audacity: Audio Editor free and recorder

    Do you have any other problem with the program? Audio can be just part of a larger problem or just an audio problem.

    How much work have you done in the program Narration track when you add narration and try to reposition it? If you leave it in the position of the indicator of the timeline where it was created with the Narration tool, can you continue the project without problems?

    Please review and consider, and then we can decide what then.

  • change the fps rate

    Hello

    How do I change the rate of fps in as2

    You cannot change the framerate with actionscript using as2.  You can with as3, and you can simulate and play any framerate (approximately) a movieclip (forward or backward), no more than the native frame rate using playF:

    play a movieclip (for example, _root of frame 1 to his last frame 24 fps):

    playF(_root,1,_root._totalframes,24);  to stop it, use stopF (_root);

    function playF (mc, m, n, fps) {}

    playFFF2 = {function (mc)}

    trace (getTimer ());

    If (mc.m

    mc.nextFrame ();

    } else {}

    mc.prevFrame ();

    }

    If (mc._currentframe == mc.n) {}

    clearInterval (mc.int);

    }

    updateAfterEvent();

    };

    MC.m = m;

    MC.n = n;

    MC. FPS = FPS;

    mc.gotoAndStop (mc.m);

    clearInterval (mc.int);

    MC.int = setInterval (playFFF2, 1000/mc.fps, mc);

    }

    function stopF (mc) {}

    clearInterval (mc.int);

    }
