    Hello

I think that it s not mentioned in the manual, because I should only be made of professional technicians for laptop

In any case, a friend of exchanged me the keyboard and told me to remove the keyboard first support. Who s the plastic cover between the keyboard and LCD display. So open the LCD screen and use your fingers on both sides and lift the keyboard bracket. There are two screws that attach the keyboard under the door-keyboard. Remove the two and lift the keyboard. Last but not least remove the keyboard plate to remove the cable from the keyboard connector.

As you can read it's not that complicated and I hope I could help a bit! :)

  • How can I change the keyboard on Portege R500?

    Hello everyone,

    I get a Toshiba - 10J Portege R500, with the QWERTY keyboard.
I want to change it with the QWERTY keyboard, because I usually use the French.

But I don't know on the net the explanation or detail to achieve this.
Someone get some photos or some tips to change the keyboard on this laptop.

    Thank you

Do you want really to replace by yourself and lose the warranty?
The Portégé R500 is a portable large company and I think that it s not the cheaper one.

In your case, I would not risk losing the warranty.
So ask the Toshiba service provider in your country for a keyboard layout AZERY-compatible and for replacement.

I think that it s safe.

  • How to change the keyboard on Portege M300-101?

    Hello

I have a Portege M300-101, and I would like to know if there are instructions online for how to change the keyboard itself. Our unit comes with, I think, a Belgian keyboard installed... and a U.S. keyboard in the box. Are there instructions available for how to move on the keyboards? Also, I guess it's a good idea to switch the keyboard before turning on the laptop for the first time. Do you agree?

    Best,
    Dainis W. Michel

    Hello Danis

Unfortunately there is no public document on this subject. You can try to do it alone, but please don t forget that on this guarantee valid path will be cancelled. Basically, the replacement of keyboard is not well complicated and technicians may need 15 minutes to do.

In my opinion, you can take a risk and pay for replacement before losing the valid guarantee. The Portege is very expensive and of damage to property, it is very risky to be unsecured.

If you still think that you do not write anything again.

    Hello

Disassembly guides are not for the public, you can download the manual on the official website of Toshiba. I've never seen there other documentation.

In any case, exchange of keyboard should not be complicated. Just remove the keyboard between the speakers and the keyboard stand. After that, you can lift the keyboard itself but be careful with the keyboard under the keyboard cable. You must remove it also.

    Good luck! :)

  • change the keyboard from English to Korean and addition of Greek and Hebrew to the version of Word 97.

My wife has a new laptop Lenovo with windows 7 and we tried to change the keyboard to add Korean, and we cannot.  On prvious Windows on the older PC operating system, it has allowed this and all we had to do was to toggle between the two.  My wife is Korean and wants to send emails in Korean to family and friends here and in Korea.  Was able to do so until the new laptop.

I'm having a hard time getting Greek and Hebrew and Latin spelling, even if I checked to make them work, they do not.  I have Vista Premium on my Toshiba PC.

    Hello

    ·        Have you installed the Korean language on the system through Windows updates?

I suggest to install the Korean language through Windows updates, then select the language for the keyboard layout and check.

How can I get additional language files?

  • Where is the option to change the keyboard shortcuts in AE?

    Hello

I am very pleased with Adobe After Effects, but how is it still possible that you can not change the keyboard shortcuts in the application? ! Adobe is well known for making very friendly interfaces, then, how is it possible that such a simple command is not the EI? There is a good chance that he will change?

You can change the keyboard shortcuts. You are editing a text file. You can find the file by opening the Preferences dialog box and reveal in Finder/Explorer the button at the bottom of the General category.

If you want to make a feature request, you can do so here:

  • Need to change the keyboard layout keyboard replacement

    Hi all

I replaced my keyboard destroyed with a PC keyboard.
While there are many ways to Microsoft to use the keys, all I want to do is install this keyboard in the hardware section of the computer, so the SHIFT 6 shows the & button rather than the old quarter of keyboards 7.

The keyboard layout can be changed in the language and region of the control panel area.
Go to control panel of control-> region and language-> tab keyboard & language-> change keyboard

Under INSTALLED SERVICES, click ADD keyboard language

Now can go up and down, or remove the keyboard language you don t want to use.

  • How to change the keyboard on iPad

    iPad 3. iOS 9.0.2

The present layout of the keyboard is QWERTY, but I need to change it for accented AZERTY. I did that in 'General', 'Keyboard', 'keyboards","French","Accentuated QWERTY"and got a tick against this choice

It did not work (on screen keyboard remained QWERTY even by turning the device off and on again) so I changed the country of France (more), but it still doesn't work. What should I do?

In addition, equals the accented QWERTY as I have on my Windows laptop with about 15 symbols (| ☺ ~ ^ μ ² etc.) are not on a QWERTY keyboard?

    Try this: http://osxdaily.com/2013/06/09/change-keyboard-layout-ios-qwerty-azerty-qwertz/

  • Satellite M60: Express Media Player change the keyboard language

Hi, I have a Sattelite M60 & ran the Express Media Player before fully reading the manual. After reading the manual, I notice that I put the keyboard language for eng1 Express Media Player, now which is US format (rather than UK eng2). However, the options for change that are grayed out in the page options. Is it possible to activate these or change the setting of any other way?

Is it really a problem to the Express Media Player for US instead of the language of the UK keyboard? Using the restore CD is not an option, because I've completely implemented my system now.

    Thank you
    Paul

    Hello

I put t have a lot of experience in the Media Express drive but I guess that this setting, you can change at the beginning.
Unfortunately, in this case you need to reinstall the EMP.

  • Space bar, change the keyboard

Is it possible to change the space bar to another key?  My broken bar... I have tried several places to replace the key.  Now its worn to a node and I worry he will die anyday.  I could use the accessible keyboard with the mouse, but it's a chore.  Say anyway to change [space key?

    Hi VilleJeff,

There is no way to change the functions of the keyboard keys.

If you use a laptop as the space bar is not working properly, you can connect an external keyboard and use the space bar button.

You can also contact the manufacturer of the laptop to check if they can provide a replacement of the keyboard for laptop.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to prevent changing the keyboard language?

When you use Windows 7, I have a problem where my keyboard language changes the United States to french Canada. This causes things like a '? ' to type rather like an 'E '. It seems to happen more often after the copy and paste. However, it is difficult to determine exactly when it happens, because only the punctuation seems to be different.

What is the origin language switch? How can it be disabled or modified?
    Thank you

    Hi GrahamBleaney,

The shortcut to switch languages is left Alt + SHIFT. It of easy to break down and can cause problems for multi users of the language. It is recommended that disable you this feature or replace it with a combination that is harder to come by chance using the available options.

I would be grateful, if you could answer the following question.

Do you use several languages? If you do not use the French Canadians, delete in the language mentioned below following information list.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/add-or-change-an-input-language

If you see some French Canadians, click it and click on Remove and then apply. Click on Ok.

If you want to use more than one language, you can change the settings according to the following suggestions.

Click Start > Control Panel > regional and Language Options > keyboards & languages > change keyboard > Advanced key settings > between input languages > change Key sequence.

    Change the settings accordingly.

If you want to disable the option of language switch you can turn it off by choosing not under switch input language.
