  Hi, I have an Equium A60-181 with graphics ATi Mobility Radeon 7000. For the moment, that this GPU is using 64 MB of my system RAM that result with only 448 MB of RAM (512-64) for Windows. For a video resolution of 1024 x 768 32 bit it's a ridiculous amount of memory since it only really requires 4 MB for this. I'm not interested in games or 3d graphics, so my question is if I can change the memory allocated to recover more memory system?

  ATi drivers include an improved graphics option devices-> display manager that allows the value of the AMU to change. My SA30 supports load 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB and 128 MB.

  you will lose the connection with it, but if you want to give it a go, that's up to you.  Go to the Configuration tab innetworkproperties - IP settings.

  My suggestion once again, this is done from the console, via some sort of connection remotely, PuTTY, not but iLO, DRAC, IMM... or standing in front of the hardware store.

  Very dependent on DNS HA, HA will not work without the correct DNS configuration. The servers ESX and vCenter server must be able to resolve the name (FQDN full) / IPs in both feel to get a working HA.

• Move the VM of vSphere ESX 3.5?

  We have a number of former hosts of ESX 3.5 that won't support vsphere.  An idea we are circulating is "retired" these hosts from active service, but to keep them on a secondary site for a cheap solution for DR, the idea being that if we had a problem in Data Center main we could move critical VMs on the site "backup."  The question is; This will be possible if we improve our Production environment to vSphere?  We assume that it would be impossible to make a vSphere ESX 3.5 hot shot, but would it be possible to migrate a computer virtual powered down "backward"?

  as long as all your vmotion needs are met, you can migrate live between ESX4 and ESX3.5 hosts.  I leave the obsolete tools and virtual equipment attached to v.4, until your environment on vSphere4

  I'll connect to virtualcenter, you can select a server, get the syslog from a selected server, you can adjust the /etc/syslog.conf and then you can apply it to all servers in your environment.

• How to change the memory allocated for VCenter server, which is a virtual machine

  I'm trying reclassification of 3.5 to Vsphere 4.1 and I improved VCenter first, making it a virtual machine.  However, when I created the server I did not allocate enough memory for it and I'm getting errors.  How can I allocate more memory for the virtual machine while it is stopped?  I can not allocate more memory, except if it is closed, but with it being the VCenter server if I stopped him so that I can access with the Vi client.  Is there a service console command?  I searched for a few hours and found nothing.
