Change the path inside and outside areas in the vector mask

Hey all lovers of the PS/CS,.

This is probably an easy, yet, being pretty new to this, I have to ask.

I have so this vector mask on a layer, and singing along to the Beatles I'm changing tracks on this subject. Well, what it is is a rectangle to crop a photo, nothing crazy. This rectangle is too big for my taste - so I just draw another, smaller on the inside and plan on deleting one.

But! The second, smaller rectangle is considered to be a delicacy to take away the first (so its interior is considered to be 'black' mask-wise, that is cut out, and its outer part is 'white', which is kept in). Thus, when you remove that first, largest, the entire image will appear, except for the part that I want in the Middle, which is cut! Yes - it's the opposite of what I want.

Now, I tried to use the path selection tool and change the fill color of the rectangle, but you can not... So, how you reverse both inside and outside of a closed path? Thanks in advance!

Charles

So, how you reverse both inside and outside of a closed path?

Select the path with the tool Selection of track and in the Options bar change the path of the operations.

    Hello world

Dear people of Sony, is possible to add a feature to export / trasncoding files between In and Out marks only as in catalyst go? Was surprised not to find, very handy when there is a large file that has two or more WB settings required, to export part of the file with the parameters a, marking the section with inside and outside and then adjusting those yet to export the or other parts of the shooting with an another WB settings?

I know there is a feature to copy sections of the files ' between inside and outside "only but it would have been more convenient to have it as in catalyst browse my humble OPINION."

Or is there a simpler workflow that I'm missing out on?

P.S. Thanks to solve the strange Maj WB problem that I reported earlier, Travis and team, I have since reinstalled catalyst prepare 2015 and in awe of the capabilities of the software. Great job.

    Hi maximdryginsony:

    Thanks for the question.

I think the function of catalyst to prepare that can solve your problem is a subset of creation. What you can do is put an In/Out point with a WB setting, and then click Log. Create a subclip (see screenshot). This will create a subelement with the color settings.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Only the creator of the it policy which is located on your BB may change this policy to allow what you want. If you're on BES, then you must speak to your BES admins... but be careful because COMPUTER on BBs strategies generally to support the policies and procedures of the organization that is associated with the BB (for example, your employer).

If you are not on BES, then it seems that there is a latent policy on your BB that blocks what you want. You can remove the it policy, but this is a delicate procedure.

Let us know if you are or are not on BES, and if you are not we can provide you the procedure to follow for the cleaning of your BB of the latent IT policy.

  • Cannot change the subnet mask of eCard in 7.1.3 (opensuse 11.4)

Had this problem before with 7.0 on suse 11.2, but I forget how I "fixed it". This is quite irritating considering I found nothing on google about this topic. I hope it's just my ignorance with the software and not a real problem, but when I try to change a vmnet as Host-only adapter, I have no option to change the subnet mask. I've seen tutorials where you just have this option, but I did not.

I use a very simple script to make changes to the Infrastructure virtual VMware which are not available on Linux hosts via the virtual network editor in Linux in VMware Workstation version.  Note that there may be other ways, but this is what worked for me.  Also note that changes to the value of a parameter that is not a correct value will cause failures, and that's why I have the scrip, run the commands with the talkative and check the ifconfig and VMware Network Status before and after you made the changes and you will see that in the attached script.

If you do not have what it takes to use the attached script then in a Terminal root or with sudo:

    sudo /usr/bin/vmware-networks --stop -v
    sudo cp -p /etc/vmware/networking /etc/vmware/networking.backup
    sudo cp -p /etc/vmware/vmnet1/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf /etc/vmware/vmnet1/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf.backup
    sudo cp -p /etc/vmware/vmnet8/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf /etc/vmware/vmnet8/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf.backup
    sudo nano /etc/vmware/networking
    sudo nano /etc/vmware/vmnet1/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf
    sudo nano /etc/vmware/vmnet8/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf
    sudo /usr/bin/vmware-networks --start -v
    sudo /usr/bin/vmware-netcfg
    sudo /usr/bin/vmware-networks --start -v

In the attached script, you will see the following note about the use of writing, or why this is done manually:

        # NOTE: Load the VMware Virtual Network Editor and then click the OK button.
        # This is being done for two reasons, one is to validate the settings
        # and the other is to create a new DHCP_CFG_HASH in the networking file.
        #
        # Be sure to review the 'Current Status after editing...' for any errors.

    echo
echo Starting VMware Virtual Network Editor...
    echo
    sudo /usr/bin/vmware-netcfg

As I said there may be other ways and VMware is unfortunately very tight secretive about what they do the document to be disclosed to the public, which is unfortunately very little.  It is so absurd that the version of Windows is not this limitation but I guess I would really be surprised since removed altogether VMware VMware Player for Linux virtual network editor and does not install it for the VMware Player for Windows even if it's in the Windows Installer Package. Go figure!

  • How do you change the default mask rubylith color?

Anyone know how to change the default mask color permanently? I have never want this bright red default "rubylith" and am so tired of having to change color every time I do a new mask! (This process takes 6 clicks!)  I just want it to be automatically my default color.

Double-click the button quick mask (button down in the toolbar)

  • Resize the photo but not the vector mask?

If I use a vector for a picture of drawing as a mask, can I then change the picture and hide individually?

There is a point in the center of the photo which allows me to move the mask, but how can I resize the photo without resizing the mask and resize the mask without resizing the photo?

    Thank you

Hold down the Alt/Option + click this point blue Center to move/adjust the mask without worrying if the thumbnail of the layer is active.

Regarding resizing regardless of them, I'm not aware of all the shortcuts except for:

Decouple (click/enable/disable the link between the thumbnail of the layer and the mask thumbnail)

Select the thumbnail of the mask.

Change the values (W/H) in the PI. (You can also do the same thing here for the active layer thumbnail)

Here is a tip that I use a lot of the time:

Use AutoShapes like masks. It is those who have points in the canvas "controller" that allow to resize, change the angles etc.

    Example:

    A. open/import an image file.

    B. Edit > cut the image/bitmap to the Clipboard.

    C. adding a Rectangle object rounded on the Web and have it active before moving on to the next step.

    D. Edit > paste inside the contents of the Clipboard (the image).

The result is your image with the a vector mask was consistent with the auto shape (in this case, the rounded Rectangle).

That's the problem - select the vector mask thumbnail and you will see again "anchor controllers" there: resize and corner radius.

  • Remove the vector mask in Photoshop CC fill layer

I use Photoshop CC and I can not remove, disable or rasterize a vector mask that is applied to a layer of fill or gradient.

    Am I missing something?

Delete the vector mask is to press the keys Alt + Ctrl (Option + Cmd) and

slide the bottom of the icon/pattern/gradient fill layer in the layers panel to the trash can at the bottom of the layers panel.

You can disable the "vector mask" Shift clicking the path icon in the properties panel.

A way to replicate the pixelation is a vector mask Ctrl (Cmd) click on the shape layer icon in the Panel layers, add a

layer mask and then delete the vector mask as described above.

You must notify anyone.  If you have problems activating automatically after the changes, do it manually.

To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain the situation, but it's the same PC and only installed on this PC.  They should give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista.

    Hello

Its propably because you do not have a DNS server configured for VPN users. Try this command:

     group-policy DfltGrpPolicy attributes dns-server value 8.8.8.8

  • Bounding box, path points and control are not visible

When I select an element, in this case of a building, to make changes, the entire file is selected instead of the building. There is nothing to separate when this happens. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? Thank you

    PK,

You can have a look for the mask of clipping or other means to disguise the work. You can start looking at the layers palette/Panel (expand as needed).

Assuming that we are talking not only about view > Show Bounding Box (or Show Edges).

  • Cannot change the solder mask

I want to erase a. 125 "wide strip the solder mask of ground plane on top of a circuit board in order to facilitate the soldering of a vertical metal shielding of the aircraft, but Ultiboard does not seem to allow this modification of the solder mask lind. Is there a work around?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Simply place a line on the soldermask layer. You can change the coordinates and widths on your needs. Welding layer mask is a negative layer in Ultiboard. Forms in the solder mask layer denote this solder mask must be set aside (or deleted) in this area. If there is no form in an area on the layer of soldermask, it is implied that physical solder mask will be applied during Assembly.

If your Council Home supports a separate layer mask stick, you should double in the Sub solder with paste mask soldered to facilitate Assembly.

    Hope that helps.

  • Change the layer mask: Alt + Shift + click does not work?

I have PES 9 w/Mac OS X.  According to Adobe using for layer masks, "to display the mask in a mask color red, hold down the Alt + Shift and click on the thumbnail of the layer mask".  It is also stated by Missing Manual for elements.  I can't get this to work and can display the mask only in itself (in black and white).  I have uninstalled/reinstalled without success.  In other words, when I change the mask, I don't see where I'm editing.  Can someone help me?

Exit the editor, then go in your username > library > Preferences and delete:

    com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 paths

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 parameters

Repair permissions, and then try again.

  • Take a virtual server inside and outside the reserved area of the different shots.

Hello. A problem that my team often discovered for testing (QA) is that when we re-establish checkpoints that were taken while the virtual machine was still a part of a domain is that it still does not work properly and that he enjoys the confidence of the questions. As a result, we have been in practice out of the field before making a new nod and then by restoring the nod to the field it is necessary to the virtual machine.

However, it takes time. 175468 KB that can help me, I found, but I want to assure you that I understand my options properly with him.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/175468

I think that method 1 as a work autour is my best choice that we will not / do not have access to domain controllers. I want to know is that if I use this method, how will I get around because of the virtual will be always sent a new password with the PDC after that I reload for each snapshot? If my environment has 5 align the shots that I need to perform this register around on, at the time wherever I touched the 2nd snap shot to make the change of the password that has been saved with the first snap is no longer valid with the PDC and I'm having the same problems as I do now. I understand that correctly? If so, how to do this? TIA.

Most of my pictures are on Windows Server 2008 R2, but I have a few on Server 2012.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

  • PIX 515E (7.0.1) - problem with the VPN connection between inside and outside

    Hello

I ve creates a VLAN on the pix.

In this VLAN, users are allowed to connect only to the Internet. Everything is fine, but when trying to connect with his VPN Client to their company, it has problems... (Outside traffic flow, but no traffic came back.)

Is the only solution for this problem to create a Pool of Nat with public ip addresses, one to one mapping, or is there another solution with a public IP address (NAT on PAT) possible for this problem?

    Thanks for your replies.

    D.

The problem is that the esp is an IP Protocol, so PAT will not work in this scenario. When the return traffic returns to pix he doesn't know how to get to the inside host. The only way to do this is by adding a static nat (1 to 1 mapping) and create a rule to allow esp. Is what type of vpn client? Microsoft vpn? Cisco vpn? If cisco VPN, perhaps, they can use NAT - T on the vpn that overcomes the question PAT by encapsulating ipsec within UDP packets. You need to talk to the admin VPN and itself it allow.
