change windows defalut minimize option

In windows vista when you minimize a window, it just goes straight down to the bar downstairs. My question is that you can change the appearance of the effect of minimizing a window? To be more precise. For example, the Trust me last night I saw when a window has been reduced it seems to be suddenly lunged off the screen on the side in a dragging effect. Is it possible to change the way windows are reduced to a minimum with different effects? I've seen several versions of how an active window can be mitigated with effects. It should be possible in vista, but I can't find all the answers to this in any of the help sections. Any input from anyone who did this would be appreciated muchly. Thank you. R.

Mystical Dragonlord Hello,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.  You can use the basic appearance that will minimize a window without any effect.  You can use Windows Aero, which will allow you to change the affects of windows minimizing or moving.  Here is a site that will give you details to use it and answer the other questions.  I hope this helps and please let me know if you still have problems.

  • How can I change "window size" in the trim of 10%?

    I use Firefox 32.0.3 and I need to know how to change "window size". I have a + and a - in the toolbar but it only changes the size of the window in increments of 10%. How can I get and intermediaries to increase the changes... i. e 15% or 18% or similar?
    Any help will be appreciated.

    That's the zoom buttons enlarge and reduce the size of the content?

    By default, the enlargement options:

    1.1 => 110%
    1.2 => 120%
    1.33 => 133%
    1.5 => 150%
    1.7 => 170%
    2 => 200%
    2.4 => 240%
    3 => 300%

    The default mitigation measures are:

    .9 => 90%
    .8 => 80%
    .67 => 67%
    .5 => 50%
    .3 => 30%

    To add or change these steps, you can modify the list in Firefox about: config preferences editor. Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search box that appears above the list, type or paste the zoom and make a break while the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues and edit it as you wish. Since it's a little difficult to read, you can copy it to a word processor or another program where you can zoom text, modify it, and then copy the revised version.

    Note #1: After having OK'ing this change, it will come into force in any new windows that you open. Existing windows/tabs seem to remember the implementation at the time you opened the. (To move a tab into a new window, click on the tab on the tab bar > move to the new window.)

    #2 Note: If the preference becomes a mess, you can right click > reset to restore the default value.

    Hi Ron68PB,

    1. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

    2 are you able to open other programs?

    3. do you get error messages or error codes?

    Method 1:

    You try to run a SFC scan to check the corrupted system files.

    You can read the following article to launch the SFC scan:

  • Expiration of the Windows 7 upgrade option!

    Hi, I bought a Toshiba laptop a few months before Windows 7 came out, making sure he had a Windows 7 upgrade option. I didn't upgrade when W7 came out because there could be problems with a new version - obviously I thought that I would wait to see how it was received. In any case, a friend of mine convinced me the other day that it is much better than Vista and I had to upgrade, but now I thought that there was a time limit on the upgrade option, and it expired on 28 February - last Sunday! I can either spend - I missed the boat. I called the customer service, but all they could do was repeat what the web page - the option has expired so far go.

    I'm not at all happy about this because at no time I tells me that there is a limit of time on it. He didn't say it in product information, or outside of the box or what be provided inside the box. I had no idea that I had to do before the end of February for this - if I did I would have done it.

    As far as I'm concerned, I paid for Windows 7. The upgrade option came as part of the cost of the laptop without any mention of a deadline. Toshiba can not see it like that, but it's a reasonable person would believe according to the information provided. Did someone else upset about this? I hope posting here will inspire the action without me having to be made to the small claims court. There is no way that this may be eligible under the law of consumption. Imagine a person selling a book token that had a period of 6 months without telling them and without printing anywhere on the token! That may not be legal.

    If all goes well, there will be a few of us to exert pressure on this issue.

    Luke.

    Hello

    I have ordered the Win7 upgrade kit at the right time and now use Win7 on my Satellite A300.

    What I can say is that this forum is nothing but forum users and here you won't find any option just official statement by people like you and me.
    Another thing, this downloadable image. As far as I know that something like that can not be downloaded.
    What you can do now is to buy the Microsoft installation disc and install the clean version of Win7.

    I don't know what model of laptop you have, but all new laptops are supported Win7 and you can find all the important factors, tools and utilities on Toshiba download page.
