  • Change your images Lr the reinstallation of all Adobe products

I had some problems with the operation of my imac that apple advised to clean the computer and reinstall everything. One thing I noticed, is that now the images in my lightroom catalog seem brighter with shadows identified compared to how they were.

I have attached two images to show this. One is the image that has been exported before you reinstall lr and the other shows like it is now. No changes are made to the image at all. I exported only once again.

Please can someone advise why this has happened?

    text image original.jpg

    image after reinstall.jpg

I guess that there are conflicts in lr causing images to be darker before, and that the conflict is now gone. The reason why I believe that it is that when I tried to use an editor to outsource, if they have changed something in lightroom, all of the picture appeared brighter with lifted shadows like what happened here.

I don't mind change as long as what I see in lightroom, it's how the image will be when you export that I can work with that. I have a worried about, is the editing of the images on my screen, it's what they look like, and then find our customers see very different things.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You are 100% sure that the settings have not changed? How do you know? Have you checked the history panel?

You are sure that the calibration of the monitor before and after is correct and IDENTICAL to 100% and NOT corrupted/out-of-day somehow? How do you know?

There must be a problem with the software then. How a different image look with any changed settings and the same calibrated monitor? Can previous versions of lightroom on the computer caused an error in the display of the images?

There is no known report of a bug in Lightroom. Such a bug would be a vice fatal and corrected quickly. In my mind, it is not the software itself, is the calibration of the monitor or changes.

    Content of thread:

How can I increase the size of the photos user (mine are only about 3/4 "squares) on the home page?

    Hello

Welcome to Microsoft Community forum.  Let me help you with your concern.

Are you referring to the user on the home screen image?

If so, the image must be only up to 128 x 128 pixels in size for the best display results and prevent it to be automatically cropped to fit user image display area. If it is larger that, just resize. Otherwise, your image may be truncated or not focused correctly.

You can resize the image using Microsoft Paint. For more information, see this Microsoft article:

    Resize a picture using paint

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/resize-a-picture-using-paint

You can follow these steps after resizing the image.

    1. Click on the Windows logo in the lower left corner of your screen. Type "User accounts" in the instant search field. "User accounts" appears in the list to select. Otherwise, click 'Start', 'Control panel', ' user accounts and control parental, "then"Add or remove user accounts ".

    2. Select 'change your image '. A list of default pictures.

    3. Choose "Browse for more pictures", and then navigate to the folder in which you stored the photos you want to use.

    4. Select an image and choose 'open '. The new image is applied to the user account. Repeat this process for the additional user accounts by selecting 'Manage another user account.'

    5. Shut down your computer.

I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.

Your problem is that you use a blocking operation and the Blackberry is never really painted screen.

    There are 2 possible solutions:

    (1) the blocking operation thread. This means that spawn a real thread to use UIApplication.invokeLater () instead.

    (2) paint before calling your blocking with the force operation: Ui.getUiEngine () .repaint (); It means the battery display to repaint and your screen will be permanently shown.

Where do you see a "black background" in iTunes?  You can include a screenshot?

Command-shift-4 to take a screenshot of the portion of the screen showing the problem.  Then drag the files to screenshot (which appears on the desktop of your Mac) in your reply in the Safari window message.
