The internal circuit of the charger is bad. Yes, get a new one. There is a risk of fire modest, Yes.

  • photosmart HP 5510 vote B11a: noise and Auful printing problem

    Hello world

    I'm new here.

I have a problem with my photosmart HP 5510 printer, when I try to print it makes a terrible noise and it does not print.

I try update firmware, reset the printer, change the cartridge, remove all the piece of paper, but nothing.

    Could you help me please?

    Thank you

    Alessandro

    Hi @alessandro96

    I'd love to help you with the sound that you hear from the printer. I understand that you have already begun to solve the problem, but the noise remains. Please post back with the answers to the following questions;

    1. Is the printer on a flat surface?
    2. How long has noisy for the printer?
    3. Didn't help then the noise started? (ie. the paper, printer error message jam was fallen/hit, surge)
    4. There are flashing lights, or the error messages on the printer?
    5. When was the last time that the cartridges have been changed?
    6. If you are a Virgin copy, when you hear the noise?
    7. If you open the printer do you see broken parts?
    8. When opening upward where the cartridges go, they move freely?
    9. The cartridges are installed correctly? (ie. the cartridges are level and does not appear).
    10. Perform a hard reset. With the power on remove power cord from the back of the device, then from the wall outlet. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds (drains the excess power of the printer). Plug the power supply into the wall outlet, then the printer.
    11. You still get the noise after that?

I look forward to hear from you.

  • Loud grinding noise and vibration: HP Pavilion G6-2313AX

I own a HP Pavilion G6-2313AX, I bought 4 months ago. The laptop worked very well and I am very happy with it. Hower a problem has arised recently.

My laptop fan makes a humming noise and creates a lot of vibration. It is, as I believe, not a normal behavior. I checked online for solutions and the potential causes. Most of them seem to think that what I need is to get the fan cleeaned.

Now, my question is: should I expect as a result to a computer store, or should I go to a center of HP? It will make me pay so much? I live in India.

Also, is it possible that this is another thing that a fan dirty which is the cause?

just don't push it, no need to open it.

  • HP DV7-4020sa fan - cleaned noise and still make the noise

    Hello.

I need help with my laptop. It is a DV7-4020sa.

Since I bought the laptop (used) the fan made a horrible squeaky sound. I decided to fix it today so dissambled laptop computer and gave the fan a good clean and also put some wd40 on the axis of the fan.

Unfortunately, after reassembling, the fan still makes noise. It's strange because if I pull the screen/lid slightly towards me, it stops the noise, and also if I apply pressure to the lower part on the base where the fan is located.

Should I buy a new/submitted fan new to replace it, or is there a fix I can apply?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello:

More than likely, the bearings of the fan are in ruins, and the only solution would be to replace the Fan/Heatsink combo.  The fan is not sold separately.

Your model equipped with a discrete video adapter according to the product specification, so you should be the Fan/Heatsink Assembly which, according to the maintenance manual, includes hardware replacement, intended only to computer models with graphical subsystems with discrete memory.  Part # 606575-001 HP.

It's quite expensive at $84.28, but I do not buy a used assembly (if you could find another one) and eventually encounter the same problem on the line.

Sometimes this happens because users simply spray a jet of compressed air into the fan intake and exhaust air vent covers, which is perfectly OK, as long as you place a PIN or something that can get through the protection grid, between two of the fan blades to prevent it from turning.

It is not a contest to see how fast or strong you can do this fan to lament when cleaning, because that's how the bearings get ruined.  They are delicate and only designed to handle a certain RPM range.

One can only imagine how far beyond this tolerance range fan bearings can go, when they are subjected to a jet of compressed air of a jet!

  • Charging of noise and the LCD

    Hello

    I have a T400 and I have 3 small question:

    1. whenever I plug in the charger, it makes a beep noise loud... y at - there a way to disable this feature? it becomes bothersome in the library when all of a sudden, it gets

    2. is it possible to tell if my screen is a CCFL or LED? I bought my computer laptop off a gentleman on craigs... but its nine, never open with warranty. So I don't know if its LED or not.

    3. makes the screen on the T400? Computer of mine was made 09/09 if that helps.

    Thank you!

    1. go in your bios under config-> alarm, you can turn off the beeps by disabling them.

2 download everest and it should tell you the p/n of your screen, then google the p/n and it should tell you if it is LED or CCFL.

3 Everest should tell you that it is usually LG or Samsung...

my cd/dvd drive has stopped reading discs, and then for good measure he has decided to stop the opening and started making a noise that sounds like it is trying really hard to turn the disk. but just can't.  When I press eject, there is an another complainant grunt loud noise and refuses to open, and then tries to turn the disc

the refusal of the opening that happened so I tried different disks to see exactly what it would not do.

Thank you Jesus, I bought an extended warranty at FRYS for three additional years.

of course it does not cover the screen is broken... but vizio is great.

    everyone having this problem

the system is64bit and the driver for the cd is a 32-bit... and why the pilot ancient... Since 2006?

The driver for the cd isn't as drivers for other devices... it's buried deep in the operating system in a layer that is probably there since Windows 2000. Your drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Are you sure that Frys extended warranty does not cover the screen? Some of them have no protection against accidental damage.

  • HP G62 charger making a high-pitched noise, but heater does not

My laptop charger noise is loud and high-pitched, change of volume at irregular intervals.  This amounts to the issue being reported in a previous post a couple of years [HP G62 charger making a high pitched noise] except that my charger does not heat.  Pressing the case of charger makes a louder noise.

The number of portable computer product is XZ183UA #ABA.  It's a laptop HP G62-457DX.

Should I replace the charger? I am concerned, it could be a fire hazard, or otherwise may fail in a bad way.

If it is a possible risk, I feel that I should say HP somehow official, so they can keep track of it.  The laptop is long out of warranty.  Is there a number to call?

Why Apple does not provide a 10W for I pad air 2 charger when the barn of the computer and hundreds of people on the web say that the 10 W does not work and it takes a 12 W charger.  Burning of the computer told me that Apple has changed their software on the iPad and now requires a 12 W charger.

So you're claiming Apple is selling iPads with a charger that doesn't work?

A charger 10W works perfectly well. A 12W charger can be slightly faster to load under certain conditions.

  • Qosmio G20: Fan makes an awkward noise when he turns around

    Hey everybody,
Another problem, but not Vista! Although it is always a problem!

My exhaust fan makes a clunky noise when it runs. I hear it's going along and round like a noise of rachetty and then at other times its fine.

Someone at - he had this?
Should I open and give it a clean?

    Hello

It's not easy to tell if the fan is malfunctioning or not.
Qosmio G20 is a laptop very powerful and cooling modules are larger and stronger as modules on any of cooling for powerful laptop.
If you use the solid performance applications such as games or videos of the cooling modules will work with maximum performance and are stronger.

But of course; the cooling module could malfunction. In this case, it must be replaced.

  • My 5s makes a static noise when I try to play sounds?

A few days earlier, I connected my phone to the Bluetooth speaker and used for a bit. I unplugged it properly, but my phone was not the same since.

Every once in a while, when I try to play a sound, it makes a static noise in playback of the sound. Or sometimes it makes no noise at all.

If anyone can understand what is happening?

Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the call logo comes back again? You won't lose data, but it can cure a few glitches.

Implementation in the new device would be the next step after that:

  • My computer makes a clicking noise at random - in the diagnosis of the Apple what is the meaning of error 4HDD/30 / 40000005:SATA (0,0) Please?

My computer makes a clicking noise at random - in the diagnosis of the Apple what is the meaning of error 4HDD/30 / 40000005:SATA (0,0) Please?

    Several clues:

    1. HARD and SATA drive in the message... On the way SATA HARD drive
    2. Clicking noise, which is an early signal of imminent death for HARD drive (there are only two types of readers... those who died and those who will be)

I would like to start keep good clones (CarbonCopyClone, bombich.com, $40) for external drives or backups Time Machine.  Any backup of the drive, not just your favorite parts.  Perform backups on a schedule without fail IMHO.

You can also start to consider a SSD at macsales.com (their mercury collection is highly recommended) or a new HARD disk, at least start planning if the SSD cost is worth the benefit of speed on the HARD drive.  You can buy it later.

Just my paranoid approach to this situation.

Instead of posting your question in the Feedback forum, where you post your feedback on the web site of Microsoft Answers, you should have posted in forum hardware and drivers, which is where I moved your post.  Please return to your message, click on edit, change the Version of Windows, menu dropdown to indicate which version of Windows you are using, and then click on submit.

Frankly, you should talk to a repair shop, don't ask this question here.  It seems that the internal mechanism in your Lexmark has failed.
