Reference Dell 2135cn print very light drum cartridge replace?

I have a Dell 2135cn printer.  It is 1 year.  It has started printing very light copies.  I replaced the toner cartridges, but he continued to print light.  I have ordered that a drum cartridge and who took care of the problem.  That was 3 months ago.  Now the printer prints very light once again, without success, when I replace the toner cartridges.  Do I need an another drum cartridge?  Is it normal to have to replace the drum cartridge so often.  What else could be the cause of this problem?  Thanks for your help.

I just had the same experience - called Dell technical support.  I use the replacement toner.  Even if my 2135cn is 3 years old, he apparently has a support life support phone.  In any case, the fix was to enter in the Setup, maintenance, admin, non Dell toner - be sure to what it gives 'On '.  My was not, and as soon as I changed it to, black printing went from barely legible to acceptable.

  • Reference Dell V313 printer

Hello - I'm a little late to the party, but I just found two updates (firmware, a driver for the OS deployment, both of 2012) on your website for my Dell V313 printer. Since these updates are of two years (can't get more recent updates), is it acceptable to go ahead and have them? Is there previous updates (since 2010, I got this printer) which should be made first, or can I go straight to the latter of 2012? Thank you.

    Redtail1,

Can you copy, print, scan and fax without problems? If so, then do nothing.

If it is not broke, do not try to fix it.

The printer has three light vertical stripes which seem to affect all the colors too.  Place the solid blocks for each of the colors (red, yellow, blue and black) k each color block exihbits light strips on the left of the printed area, one near the Center and the other near the right side when printing with a margin of 1 ".  Changing the margins does not affect the position of the light areas, only if they fall within the print area or not.  When the background is white no line or band appears in this area.   Any thought as to the cause and the cure.  All consumables are reporting that they have at least 15% life left or more.

I have a Dell Inspiron 5000 series and the v515w printer. I went to Windows 10 and if she is working for a short period until he acted like it was printing but no ink on the page. I switched to Windows 7 Professional and it still does the same thing. I uninstalled the printer and reinstall twice and still can't make it work...

    Hello Charlene,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem your printer does not print text on paper as there is no ink. The question might be if there is no ink in the cartridges. Printing problems can be caused by cables that are not properly connected, corrupt, drivers, incompatible drivers, the printer settings, missing updates and problems with your printer.

I suggest to check first the ink in the cartridges, and if possible, try to change with a new and see if it makes a difference. You can also try to clean the ink cartridge nozzles.

If the problem persists, you can try the steps outlined in the methods mentioned below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1
Try the printer troubleshooter, which will attempt to diagnose and solve your problem automatically.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

    Method 2
Clear printer spooler files and select the spooler service.

    Step 1
    a. Click Start, type "Services.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the Open box and click OK.
    b. double click on "Printer Spooler" in the Services list.
    c. click on stop, and then click OK.
    d. Click Start, type "% WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers" in the opened window and delete all the files in this folder.

    Step 2

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    a. open administrative tools by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type administrative tools, and then click Administrative Tools.
    b. double-click on Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    c. right-click on Print Spooler serviceand then click Properties.
    d. on the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.
    f. e. the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • Reference Dell MFP printer not print.

I bought a new Dell anything anbout one laser printer low there. I installed it. I can see the icons on my two computers. But when I try to print, either directly but through cable or wireless (I have a router which works fine), I get the error is "no printer error paper or. In addition, I could not send a fax - machine was sound and sending it came out with the error. Before this printer I used HP printer which worked very well. I'm not able to get any help either Dell or the vendor, Staples. I would much appreciate if someone can help me.

    Thank you...

I have no way of knowing if you have purchased an extended warranty (or package), Staples and Dell.  If you have registered your Dell product online, you should be able to determine the status of your warranty by entering the number of serial number of your printer here--> http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04
This article explains how to find your serial number--> http://www.dell.com/support/contents/us/en/04/article/Product-Support/Self-support-Knowledgebase/locate-service-tag/Printer

You had two icons for your printer showing in devices and printers, probably because one is for the USB connection and the other for the wi - fi connection.  Assuming you have an edition of Windows 7, follow these steps:

    • Open devices and printers
    • Right-click on your Dell printer icon, then select "printer properties".
    • Select the "Ports" tab

One of the lines in the list of ports is highlighted and verified.  Look at the value in the "ports" column (if necessary, click and drag over the low vertical line in the header line to make the column wider).  If the value is an IP address (for example, 192.168.1.25), then this icon represents your wi - fi connection to the printer.  If the value is something like USB_001 or DOT4_001, this icon represents the USB connection (cable) to the printer.

If your printer will work with two active connections (some printers will disable the wi - fi connection if the printer is connected via USB), then you must give these names separate icons so that you can choose whatever you intend to use at any time.

I suggest that you are troubleshooting with the printer connected by USB (cable).  In this way, you don't have to worry about if you have the appropriate safety information to connect to your wi - fi network.

Regarding faxing or incoming calls "answering machine" printer, the printer must be connected to a regular telephone line to send faxes.  If this is the same line that you normally use to make and receive calls, the portion of the printer fax is probably configured by default to answer all incoming calls.  There should be a setting somewhere in the configuration of the printer system to change this to never answer or answer only after a number of rings (which gives you a chance to answer a call with your phone).

    Hi Sharon

  • Reference Dell V515w printer does not print second job

I can print 1 post.  The second task remains in the queue until I do a restart.  How can I get my printer to print the second job without performing a reboot?

I had the same problem and went to Microsoft forums and have tried many suggestions, I saw on the autumn 2013 Dell support site, IE 11 may be the problem

uninstall IE 11 failed. Microsoft community Web site, it said to run from the admin command line

    ORFILES/p %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages/m Microsoft-Windows - Internet - Explorer * 11. * .mum /c "cmd /c echo uninstalling @fname package & start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /norestart.

got error messages, but it has worked and solved the problem

Then, of course, a problem with interaction between IE 11 and some Dell printers. I asked the Coordinator of the Microsoft forum if we could report the problem to Microsoft. It would seem that Dell support needs to talk to Microsoft to resolve this problem and not just pointing the finger at the other.

  • Reference Dell 3000cn printer & Windows 8

With the printer not yet taken 3000cn supported by Windows 8, what are the options to get the printer to work in an environment Windows 8?  Network printer and works seamlessly with Win 7 and XP.  Printer is still in good condition, so don't want to replace.  Any suggestions?

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 660 with 8 (64-bit) windows only to find out that I had the same dilemma.

Is there a solution at this point? Absolutely, you can use the HP driver "HP Color Laserjet 2605 PCL6 driver class.

The 3000cn model now prints color appropriately using this driver.

Please note that if you install this driver and just monochrome output, you need to change the "Color Mode" PCL from black to color in your panel of the printer.

I followed the suggestions found here (unplug the printer on the wall, remove the brick, low load patch R166248 to delete the printer, the latest driver to load, R146832 dated 26/01/07, reboot). Restarts, driver going through complete installation process then I get an error at the end of the process, "the Dell Photo 926 Printer printer driver is not installed". I did this several times. In addition, I restarted the spooler to print several times. No luck. Additional suggestions on how I can get my 926 to work with Windows 7?

    Greg,

I think that we all regret our first wedding, well most of us.

Removal of print jobs is a way of really nice to get rid of your documents. After you restart your computer, you should be able to run the fix, Manual printer removal driver and restart once more. Try it to install the Vista drivers in compatibility mode, I used Vista SP2.

Right click on the file setup.exe, on the left, click Properties, compatibility of the left click. Change Vista compatibility. Then, install the appropriate drivers. You will be asked when connect (printer)

To install the drivers, sometimes the file decompresses and does nothing. You must find the setup.exe file, right-click on it, then on the left click on run as administrator *.

  • Reference Dell 5100 printer prints at all after installation.

Accidentally, I uninstalled my Dell 5100cn peripheral window PCL6 printer and printer and reinstalled. But now it does not print and does not even printed the test page.

I reinstalled it in the same window by right clicking and choose Add a printer. I chose "Add local printer" since it is directly connected to my computer via the cable from the printer. I selected "use the driver that is currently installed (recommended)."
I used Windows Update to check for updates to driver for the printer, but nothing found. Driver seems to date.
I can still see the status of 'Test Page': 'Impression' looking at "see what's printing" after right click on the printer, but there is no activity or a any from the printer.
Other people in my office were able to print this topic.
    I have Windows 7.
Help, please! I have no idea why this isn't printing!

Well, I got it working! Looks like I took the wrong printer Port.

Initially left the port of the printer as the default choice that has been "LPT1: (Printer Port).
I uninstalled and deleted all traces of the printer driver for the 5100cn printer. So I decided to choose the "USB001 (virtual printer to USB port)" printer port option because it is connected to my computer via USB and printed successfully.
Thank you for all your help. I'm just glad it was something simple and easily overlooked.
