Chargers & batteries W450

Hello world

If I check my W450 charger, it says that the output is 5.1V and 750mA.

However, I am looking into buying this laptop battery pack:

http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/Electronics/BatteriesChargers/ChargersAdapters/PRD~5029-551/chargeur-portatif-magicstick-de-solarfocus.jsp?bmLocale=en&bmForm=setLanguageCookie&bmFormID=jrHVNCW&bmSubmit=SetLanguageCookie

which output 5v and 1 ampere.

So, I was wondering if use it to load my W450 can be harmful to the bettery? What are the General rules in this regard?

Thanks for your help!

Take care

Fred

Amps does not matter. Amps get pulled by the device, not pushed off the charger. So you could plug into a 10 amp charger and the device would draw still only 0.75 amps. EDIT: Amps don't matter if the charger unit needs more than delivers. If it offers less, then it is possible to long-term damage from what I understand.

The tension is what I am fragmented, but I read that the USB specification defines voltage to 5v + - %5, so devices that load off USB must be designed to cope gracefully with a range of 4.75 to 5.25 volts. (http://www.beyondlogic.org/usbnutshell/usb2.shtml)

Long story short: the battery should be fine. If something goes wrong, it's probably because of the failure of the hardware, not because of the power plug do not match.

Yes, you can use the batteries in both cameras.

  • non-rechargeable batteries

I like sandisc is that you can use at high altitude. I am looking for a new and they all seem to have rechargeable batteries which is difficult to do a long trip. Are there other options of battery?

For the record, I think that most mp3 players now use a SSD flash memory now so they should be good with shock and high altitude. It was the great thing about my old 256 MB - solid state memory SanDisk mp3 player and he ran on a single AAA battery, so I could just keep a few extras in my pocket or buy them as needed.

Personally, I would recommend that you watch the Sansa Clip + as it has a plug type as well as a standard microSD card slot.  I have a rocket and the only thing I HATE is the port owner.  I can't load it with anything except the OEM cable. the clip + has a normal mini-USB port for most mobile phone chargers should (have not tried well) work with her including phone chargers 'emergency' that work on normal AA batteries.

Something like this should work on the Clip / Clip +:

    http://blkbrytech.blogspot.com/2008/09/i-love-little-check-another-posts.html

When you go to the store, look at this thing in the accessory section of mobile phone, probably to Motorola or Blackberry phones (I think both use the same connector miniUSB as Sansa Clip / Clip +)

Alternatively, if you really want the features of the "rocket", find or build yourself a cell phone charger with a USB female port and wear it around the cable of the rocket.  I can confirm the "rocket" will play and charger at the same time, I often recharge with a generic USB wall charger.  You just need the Sansa cable to connect USB - A port of Sansa.

If you only want to mp3 (not video) I seriously would you recommend to go with the Clip +, if I was looking for now I would choose the clip + during the "rocket".  It has a slot for more memory microSD (it's a must for me - I want to keep this player for a long time) and it also has a standard mini-USB plug, so it is really easy to take anywhere.

After turning on my wireless keyboard led green lights, then begins to blink, and then turns off. The batteries are fresh.

Possible explanation.  It is likely that batteries, so fresh, can be irregular in size.   The uncertain connection would therefore tend to lead to a failure to blink and you declare.   Read my thing...

Your best bet is an accumulator.  I have one I got on Amazon by EC Tech.  It is a brick, but it will charge my iPhone and the iPad, if the current is cut off.  You just need to load the brick and keep it in an emergency.

Hello. Have you ever tried the troubleshooting steps such as reset/restore?

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

  • For iPhone5 and Air2 iPad car chargers

I have 2 iPhone 5 s and 2 iPads. An iPad is iPad Air2 and the other is an older iPad in 4 years. What types of car chargers will maintain loaded safely and as soon as it is reasonable within the limits of the 12V car system?

I have read and received mixed advice.  Chargers vs inverter with usb ports USB and AC.

I was told that a UPS is a more robust type of charger and voltage is better regulated.

So what is the bottom line. Chargers USB or INVERTERS?

    Thanks for some tips.

A good quality of 12 v to 5 V USB adapter is fine, such as Griffin or InCase. Store lists Apple adapter number and everything that you get from Apple has been tested and certified by Apple. Avoid cheap imitations. And unplug the adapter when starting the car unless the car is a hybrid.

EDIT: For the iPad, the adapter should provide at least 2 amps (10 watts).

My touchpad is holing of batteries every week. I use my computer in less than 12 hours per week. This seems odd. Y at - it a sleep track pad option that I don't know?

    http://www.lenashore.com/2012/06/trackpad-battery-life-getting-you-down/

There is no way to 'sleep' your trackpad. But you can simplify your use of battery. (Two to four weeks until the replacement/refill is in the ballpark.)

    1. rely on rechargeable batteries - like those that accompany your trackpad.

    2. invest in a charger AA-, they are relatively cheap and reliable.

My iPad will not normally charge.  I tried different cables and Chargers.  I plugged the iPad to iTunes and reset a DFU.  After only a few hours the iPad finished reloading all software and reloaded new apps, it had also charged the battery but the problem remains, I still can't load the iPad normally.  Any help out there?

There are very few things that keep loading an iPad. Some of these (other charger plugged into a good outlet, different cable) you have already tried. Others are:

1 dirt, lint or fuzz in the port of loading of the charger or the iPad. Check and clean carefully if necessary.
