• Best for first Elements 10 manual?

  I'm new to video editing.  I find the first Elements 10 more intuitive and easy to use that Cyberlink Power Director, Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Writer AE (which came with my camcorder Panasonic TM900). I don't know the total capacity, but it seems that first Elements 10 will be able to accomplish any task, I need.

  However, as my first items 10 did not come with a manual, I have the choice of using the PDF manual on my computer; print or purchase a stand alone manual.

  I use many very good video tutorials available online but, I want a book to improve my learning.

  Can anyone recommend a book?

  What operating system is involved? Assuming that Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit for now.

  There is a known No Disc error associated with the elements first 13/13.1. The Adobe fix is the removal or disabling of the OldFilm.AEX file. Let us determine if this applies to your situation.

• Can't import video for first Elements 8

  Hey everybody,

  I know that this question is probably asked a lot, but the hours of research I still could not find a solution, so I thought I'd do an account to ask you guys.

  I first Elements 8, and every time I connect my Canon Vixia HG20 and use the option to get the media, it does not find my camera. I select the option for AVCHD or other memory/hard disk camcorder and then this window pops up but it says "None Found" or "No Device Found" (I refreshed it several times to be sure). Now, I tried several times a month.

  Does anyone have solutions or advice?

  For this material, first copy the files and folders of the camera via the USB port. This can be done from the included software, or Windows Explorer.

  Captures true is only from cassette miniDV, via FireWire cameras.

  I have prepared a slideshow with the Organizer in Photoshop Elements 6 and produced a DVD that has a good image quality but not excellent (I chose File - high setting of 800 x 600). In order to improve the image quality of DVD, I installed the trial version of first Elements 8. I've exported the first Elements 8 show and have several problems.

  1 the picture quality of the DVD produced by first Elements 8 is worse than that produced from the Organizer (Photoshop Elements 6).

  2 titles, transitions and the Bo does not show in first Elements 8.

  3 the sequence of slides in first Elements 8 is different then the slide show in the Organizer (Photoshop Elements 6).

  At the same time a menu pops up asking me if I wanted to convert the catalog to the V6. I refused because I was afraid that the catalogue of the V6 can be replaced, and I wouldn't be able to come back.

  Conclusion.

  My results are in agreement with your problems are NOT associated with Photoshop Elements 6 slide show used instead a Photoshop element 8 slideshow in the slideshow transfer to first Elements 8.

(and have more than one default template to customize) I don't mention the name of the competitor for fear of censorship of this entire thread.
