Remove temporary internet files usually works, but be aware that you may also lose history, Cookies and passwords registered, unless they are unchecked. Go to control panel > all items in the control panel > Internet Options > general tab > browsing history, then click on remove.

    Hello

    I tried to save some pictures to the internet on my computer but I have only 2 options (.png and .bmp) file extension. I can't save it in jpeg format so that I can download it for an online profile. I saved the images as jpeg, but the option no longer exists. Is there anyway to fix this?

    Hi BuccoFan,

    Since you're using Internet Explorer 9, follow the steps below to:

    1. Press Ctrl + SHIFT + delete
    2. Select the temporary Internet files, Cookiesand history
    3. Click Remove

    Now try to save the image, and you should have the ability to save in jpeg.

    Let us know if that helps.

  • Check-in jpeg in batch mode

    Hello:

    A "newbie" here.  I performed an action in order to put a watermark on the photos.  When I run the batch, instead of saving the image and passes to the other, it opens invites the image to save a pdf file and I have must choose jpeg from the drop down and save.  I do not have a backup in my action. just installing the watermark.  some how worked the action find a few weeks; What am I doing wrong now?   I use CS4 Extended.

    TKS!

    Maybe if you posted a screenshot of the action or

    Describes the steps in your action, which would help.

    Probably, the batch processing dialog box is fixed now different than when your action

    worked.

    If you want to save the image in jpeg format, you can have save as step in the

    end of the action.

    When you use the action to automate > batch, you check the box:

    Action to override the commands "save under".

    As long as you choose a destination folder, the images will be saved in JPEG format in the

    file destination and not in the location that you specified in the action.

  • Saving images is failing as a JPEG instead of JPG

    When you click to "save the Image under...". ' option, the default "as file Type" value setting used to be empty and would allow us to save the jpg graphics. Now, for some reason, the preset 'File As Type' is set to JPEG. This is very inconvenient because we have to choose the option "All Files", so that we can see the list of files, that we already saved in order to keep our photo sequence so that our operations. The other problem is that we cannot use JPEG files, because all of our web pages and print pages that we publish are related to files JPG, then if convert us to JPEG format, we would have to completely re-do of our thousands of templates.

    We use Firefox version 35.0.5. We tried to update Firefox via their Web site. Did not work. Then we tried uninstalling and then installing a new version, still the same problem. Also, the problem occurs only on 2 systems that we have and not on the other 2.

    Help, please!

    COR - el suggests using RegEdit.exe. You can type or paste regedit.exe in the Windows Run dialog (or box on Windows 7, the search box of the start menu) and press ENTER to run it. Usually you would get a UAC invites to approve the execution of the program.

    RegEdit lists five different "hives" or sections of upper level in the left pane. If you develop one, high HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT of the page, then you can drill down for

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > MIME > database > Content Type

    In this section you must thin image/jpeg and then you can click on that and view the assigned right file extension. I've attached a screenshot of Windows 7 for any reference to screen.

  • VLM - Testers checking debug licenses instead of deployment.

    We currently use VLM 3.1 with a limited number of licenses of debugging, and a large number of deployment licenses.  Some of our testers seem to insist on pulling debug licenses, even when running through the interface of the user logged in as operator.  The two switch Executive 3.0 and teststand 3.5 seem to be guilty of this.  VLM is currently the Setup based on computer, not the user.

    Hey Bob73

    I did a little more research into what happened with your deployment/debug licenses.  I have come across some good information on why this is happening.  We have an internal document that indicates that it is a known problem in TestStand 3.5.  It has to do with the operator TestStand 3.5 Interface correctly attempts to extract the TestStand_InstEngine in the license of the Package of basic deployment, but incorrectly then try to check a feature available in the TS Debug Deployment license.

    This will happen only if one of the following conditions is met:

    • The VLA has unmanaged for debugging concurrent licenses.

    • The computer/user who tries to order the license has permissions for a license with the option to deploy.

    To solve this problem you will need to create a service request.

    I'm sorry that I didn't connect the dots earlier.

  • Custom name - original file name works do not export, Lightroom creates the sequence jpeg instead of the original file number

    When you export from Lightroom with "custom name - original file name" selected, Lightroom replaces the original file with a useless jpeg sequence number. Export must have the custom, followed by the number of original file name.

    There is no option for Custom name + nameof the file.

    I would, with all due respect-

    If you "change" in the file name changes dialog box, you can set the change of name {Custom + file name}

    or Custom + Original file name!

    Any ideas how to get the most consistent results would be appreciated.

    If each application and the system of color management properly, it would be possible to obtain a uniform color throughout.

    As it is, this is not the case.

    Many people feel that the publication of an image in sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 profile is the best approach.  There is debate over whether to publish a profile in the image to identify systems/browsers that have the good color management using this profile - my opinion is that you should do.

    If you have a large monitor range that is not closely emulate the sRGB profile, and assuming that you have calibrated it and profiled, you can see different things when you view an sRGB image using a fully color managed application (for example, Photoshop), a partially (e.g., Internet Explorer) color management application or a color non-managed applications (eg. an older Viewer application).  It is to be expected.

    Different browsers implement different levels of color management.  I mentioned that IE does only half the job - he interprets color of picture profiles, but it assumes that each monitor is sRGB regardless of his profile.  Firefox can do a complete job of color management, including even non graphics web page element color management, but need reconfiguration to do.  Safari only image color, no web page elements.  Last, I looked completely ignored Chrome color management.

    Create your image in sRGB color space, trust what you see on your system that is calibrated and profiled when the image is displayed in Photoshop - that is, make the colors look--here and make your own choice on whether to publish with embedded sRGB profile.  That's the best you can do.

  • Creation of MapTiles in jpeg

    Hi all

    We try to reduce the amount of data used by MapTiles. Customer, I used for my tests is about 100 GB of MapTiles for now.
    Storage size is not a problem, but it display the theme through the internet. To decrease the amount transferred I am looking at ways to reduce the sizes of MapTiles file.

    Currently, all our MapTiles are created as png - results are very good.
    -The file size is max 180 kb
    -Zoomlevel 5
    -256 x 256 pixels
    -tiles have correct colors
    -MapTile gdalinfo:
    Pilot: PNG/Portable Network Graphics
    Files: 0_17.png
    The size is 256, 256
    Coordinate system is "
    Structure of the image metadata:
    INTERLEAVE = PIXEL
    Contact angle:...
    1 block = 256 x 1 Type = byte, ColorInterp = Red
    Hide flags: PER_DATASET ALPHA
    Band 2 block = 256 x 1 Type = ColorInterp = green byte
    Hide flags: PER_DATASET ALPHA
    Band 3 block = 256 x 1 Type = byte, ColorInterp = blue
    Hide flags: PER_DATASET ALPHA
    Band 4 block = 256 x 1 Type = byte, ColorInterp = Alpha

    Creating a new layer of tile map using the same definition but jpeg instead of png causes problems:
    -The file size is max 25 KB (would be a nice size, but not very realistic)
    -The colors are false: pale, seems as if the color depth has been reduced to 8-bit or lut with few entries
    -MapViewer does not display tiles, shows that empty images containing an x
    -MapTile gdalinfo:
    Pilot: JPEG/JPEG JFIF
    Files: 0_17.jpeg
    The size is 256, 256
    Coordinate system is "
    Structure of the image metadata:
    SOURCE_COLOR_SPACE = CMYK
    INTERLEAVE = PIXEL
    COMPRESSION = JPEG
    Contact angle:...
    1 block = 256 x 1 Type = byte, ColorInterp = Red
    Structure of the image metadata:
    COMPRESSION = JPEG
    Band 2 block = 256 x 1 Type = ColorInterp = green byte
    Structure of the image metadata:
    COMPRESSION = JPEG
    Band 3 block = 256 x 1 Type = byte, ColorInterp = blue
    Structure of the image metadata:
    COMPRESSION = JPEG

    Hi again.

    Here is the problem I think:

    You bgcolor = 'none' in the definition, it means, that in the layer of maptile edition page you specified the background to be transparent, but jpeg does not support transparency.

  • When using an accept custom attribute on an input file his show all files rather than the files that I choose (accept = "image/jpeg, image/gif, image/png, image)

    Hi, I am trying to use the entry of the file accept to limit the type of file that the user can choose when downloading a file. in fact, I have two problems that I can't understand our:

     1. If i am using the value "image/*" its limit the user to all the images but if i am using a custom
         limit e.g. "image/jpeg,image/gif,image/png,image/bmp" its show all the limits in the select box but the
         default value for ths user is "All Files". In Chrome and IE10 its working as needed.

     2. When i am trying to limit to "swf" files using the value "application/x-shockwave-flash" its show "All Files".
         In Chrome and IE10 its working as needed.

    I use Windows 7.

    Thank you.

    Well, it seems you do what it says in the documentation: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/HTML/Element/Input#attr-accept

    Firefox actually allow you to drop a folder that is not on the list? In other words, is the problem of acceptance is ignored, or that the filter does not display the dialog box?

  • JPEG or png in the .cur format conversion?

    Hello everyone

    My request is to load the icons on the image in JPG or png or bmp formats supported by labviw

    After loding all the icons on the 2d image. If I want to move from one point to the other point, I want to do the icon as the cursor image.

    In this process, so I need to convert an image format jpg or png or bmp in image through labview .cur format.

    Thank you.

    LabVIEW does not directly support conversion between image formats and does not support the format of the cursor, as image format at all (it support for cursors).  However, you can still do what you want to do, but you will have to do it in a different way.  Here are a few possibilities:

    1. Do everything in a single image control.  Use the mouse events (move, up, down,...) to control what icon is picked up upward and where it goes.  You can move the icon through a picture by program control.
    2. Use two image controls.  The first contains your full image.  When you take an icon, remove it from the first image order and transfer it to the second, which is transparent and is on the first.  When you move the mouse, move the second image programmatically control using mouse events.

    There are a multitude of variations on these basic ideas.  All will require some playing around to get events works fine for you, but you should be able to do.  Good luck.  Let us know if you need more information.

  • Why a b & w JPEG become overexposed when I place a PNG in the same file?

    In InDesign, I create an ad in black and white. The background is a JPEG edited in Photoshop (converted to grayscale, cropped, added two black rectangles on top, with a gradient background). I've added several text boxes and then place one of the three logos (created and saved in Illustrator in PNG-24 format) in the file. As soon as I place anywhere in the document - the JPEG, the JPEG format, any where - four inches on top the JPEG goes to the maximum brightness and looks terrible. If I add the logo in JPEG format, all right. The problem is that the logo should have a transparent background, which you can't get with a PNG as far as I know. I also tried to save the JPEG as a PNG background, but it's the same way overexposed. What should I do?

    What you see is the effect of ID shift to overprint prview quality when transparency is introduced. Shades of gray are mapped on the black plate and output as part of the working CMYK document, which can display actually lighter or darker than the gray scale preview. The image has the same appearance as without transparency on the page, but with the preview of the selected overlay, and it comes to the actual production, what you can expect when you export Active working CMYK profile.

    You can use the channel black FRO the CMYK profile like gray space during the conversion to grayscale in photoshop, if you want to have the interpretation more accurate in both applications.

    And if you create logos in Illustrator, you should probably save as .ai or PDF, rather than PNG, which is a raster format.

  • CANNOT IMPORT PNG FILE IN VERSION 9 OF PHOTOSHOP CS2

    When I try to import a .png file in PS, I get the message: "Could not complete your request because the file format module cannot parse the file."

    Is it possible to import the .png files in PS CS2?

    And otherwise: I studied him "lossless bmp" and I can't get a definitive answer on the question of whether the .bmp files are lossless. Can anyone confirm that they are lossless? In this case I could use instead of .png to import .bmp files to Psalm

    Looks like it's the question photoshop cs2 is having to open the images if you have changed the jpeg to png file extension.

    Change the file extension does not change the file type.

    In other words even if the extension is .png, it's always a jpeg file.

    If you come to use Save Image as in firefox and use the jpeg by default as it suggests, your jpeg download, not re-register and recompression, AFAIK.

    Then, you can open the JPEG in photoshop cs2 and save it as png or psd without doing further damage to the file.
