Check the permissions of a user session

I have a problem with a supplier 3rd party application

The application is very poor (this requires access s/n)

I believe that the application performs the following operations when a user connects

User1 create a session

It's round fires a trigger or procedure (I can't see the code for as it is encrypted)

The trigger allows User1 a tas bunch of roles, then runs the sql statement in the User1 and him revokes roles (even if the declaration of the User1 is still ongoing)

Sometimes the the User1 sql statement can take a few hours to run

During this time, it is possible to check what are the roles granted to the session of the User1?

I think at one of the tables $ x will have the answer

This is a Dev env and there is nothing in the dba_audit_trail

G.

The REDO logs will have all THE statements that have been executed.

    any ideas what the permission problem?

    Thank you

    Jim

    Found the problem and it's nothing to do with users, groups, and permissions of files (tmp or anything else besides!)

    The problem was that I had not put the sysconfig according the upgrade installation Notes & R12.2 for Linux x 86-64 ( note 1330701.1 )

    I guess the bum steer, which gives install them quick - is indicating that the question is a problem of permission of the files in / tmp, when it is not really!

    The only thing I can think is that it uses sysconfig content to add the name of host or domain, the file name, he tries to put in / tmp.

    hope this helps

  • Mirage Management Server installation 5.1 - "unable to validate the permissions for this user account.

    I'm installing Horizon Mirage 5.1 server on a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM management. The SQL is located on a Server R2 VM with SQL 2012 2012. We have created a Mirage service account that has permissions of db_creator on the SQL Server. When we run the installation wizard we get the "unable to validate the permissions for this user account. Unable to connect to the database. The control server name, the name and server instance parameters"error message. We tried to make the local admin of the SQL server service account and the Mirage Mgmt server. We tried you identifying as service account and by running Setup in this way. Windows Firewall is disabled on both virtual machines. When we enter the SQL Server name and the instance use < servername > without an instance because it is an unnamed instance. Does anyone have other ideas? Cannot find much out there for KB articles. I'll open evidence of the support if it takes too long to understand.

    The service account, we created had a "database default" set in SQL. We chose the database and he continued as planned.

  • Check the permissions

    We need access to the features limited on the device. Device permissions, the application requires can be specified in the application BAR descriptor file.

    Is there a way to check if the permissions are denied or allowed by the user?

    The API provides a class of ApplicationPermissions.

    There is no direct and unified API for this (yet). For now, try to perform any of the restricted stock and catch the exceptions that are triggered.

    For example, if you try to make a list of directories on the commune / subfolders and have no access_shared granted by the user, you should get a permission violation.

  • How to check whether or not a user session is null

    Hello

    I use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.2

    I have a some Junit test case execution use case, that's the problem I have:

    There's Junit tests that are written for some VO while tests of insert and update operation to Junit it is two General required columns Created by and updated by to engage in the database.
    These values are taken from the UserName of the current UserSession.

    So to get these values for each user, I thought to display a JPanel before the test is run, where the user enters the user name and password which is validated and the user is verified.

    First of all, I need to check if there is a session presents or not. To check this, I wrote a createUserSession() and liked on the inside:
    if(fixture.getApplicationModule().getSession().getUserData().isEmpty())
    Would that be to show the Jpanel and the details of the user and verify the user.

    But when executing the test itself, I found that the session is already present, now I just at the entry values based on who is the user.

    But Junit run the tests in the order in which the tests are written. I therefore call this in all the test cases.

    The Question is:
    How can I check if the session is already present or not, so that I don't have to ask the user every time of each test runs to enter the user name and password?

    Thank you
    Nigel.

    Hello

    ask yourself why you create test users and then automatically connect them as Jan Vervecken made in the net, I told him you. This way your test cases run without user intervention. To test if a session exists for a user, I would put a custom property in the user data. If this property exists, the user session is an existing one. However, make sure that the information you save user data survives passivation, because otherwise the information you get out of it is not accurate. See: http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/07/08/jdev-always-test-your-app-with-applicationmodule-pooling-turned-off/

  • Impossible to turn off read-only - and I already checked the Security tab

    Hello, I use Vista Ultimate.  I'm on my home computer and have full administrative rights.  Have a big problem trying to get the recovery off the power on a personal folder read-only.  It is NOT a folder on a network or is a system folder.  When I go in the folder and click on the Security tab, ALL users have full right to make any changes.    No error displayed whenever I then deselect read only on the general tab, click on or .  But when I re - open the folder and check the properties, read-only is still active.  It's driving me crazy.  HELP!?!?!?!

    And Yes, I tried this:

    "To view or to remove the read-only or the attributes of system files in Windows Vista

    1. Click on start, run, type cmd and press ENTER...
    2. To view the syntax for the Attrib command, Type attrib------? at the command prompt.

    To remove the read-only attribute and to set the system attribute, use the following command:

    attrib - r + s drive:------------

    For example, to remove the read-only attribute and set the attribute to system for the C:\Test folder, use the following command:

    attrib - r + s c:\test

    Be aware that some programs may not operate correctly with folders for which the read-only attribute and the system attribute are granted. Therefore, use the following command to remove these attributes:

    attrib - r s by car:------------

    For example, to remove both the read-only and the attributes to system for the C:\Test folder, use the following command:

    attrib - r-s c:\test

    If the run command is not listed in the start menu, follow these steps:

    Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, and then click Run."

    And get an error that says: parameter Incorrect Format.

    Have you checked to see if the files in the folder are effectively read-only or if the only problem is that the file is checked in read-only?

    You may need to go higher in the chain of record because some properties are inherited (see advanced security of the folder until you come to one where the special permissions list including all permissions that are inherited for administrators or your user account). It does not stick because you don't have the permissions and/or ownership to allow you to make the change.  You must have permissions to full right for all folders (both on the main page and in the special permissions list) and you will have to take possession of the records as well.  Then change the ownership and permissions for yourself and administrators and don't forget to check the box for all files and subdirectories.  This should give you what you need to make the changes.  Here is some information that might help.

    To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista:http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/. To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

    To solve this problem with folders, folders takeownership or the reader (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html. To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

  • Deleting a folder gives this message: check the location of the elements, and then try again

    I would like to help to get rid of a file. The folder used to hold pictures, but is now empty. I tried the normal removal methods. I also tried to remove prompt all to nothing does not. I tried to use Fileassassin, but it will not work with a folder and also Fileboss time to rename it to 8.3 and remove it but neither work. He will agree to be cut and pasted from images of office etc but will not delete in these two places. Similarly, it can be placed in another folder but still will not remove. Move a file inside does not either.

    Suggestions welcomed!

    Check if you have full permissions in the folder and also owner if necessary. Move the folder to your desktop.  Right-click on the folder, and then click Properties, click the Security tab.  Add your username in their own right.  Click Advanced and add your username in its own right to the section of special permissions.  And then click the property tab and make you the owner.  In all three cases, remember to check the box to apply it to all files and subdirectories.  That should give you the permission to delete the file.  If this is not the case, check all the tabs property, including safety to check that nothing is checked to refuse the removal.  The following should help you with this:

    Suppose the first when we launch the application that any permission has been activated once the user has disabled permissions from the setting. So, I need to check the permissions are enabled and disabled.

    access_shared , you can check with QFileInfo

    QFileInfo info("shared/documents");
    if (info.isWritable()){
        qDebug() << "SHARED PERMISSION OK";
    }else{
        qDebug() << "SHARED PERMISSION ERROR";

  • How the permissions of folder veiw

    I am currently working in an organization that gives out laptops to our clients for them to use for the work, the problem is that our Clients often use ICACLS to circumvent group policy, by changing the permissions/owner of files, then drop the program they want to run in the folder windows, including windows/find / * file

    Is it possible to check the permissions of the owner/folder on the portable computer quickly, without administrative access, (they have done essentially the moderator for personnel COMPUTER accounts)

    Is it possible to check the permissions of the owner/folder on the portable computer quickly, without administrative access, (they have done essentially the moderator for personnel COMPUTER accounts)

    Because all users have at least read access to the trace file, you can use icacls.exe to view its permissions.
  • Why even after having changed the permissions can't write to my files?

    I moved files on "users / shared" on the imac 27 "my father Yosemite retina.  He got last June but was not able to migrate because of her old imac was in Florida and North Carolina.  So, I migrated the old imac again with time machine backup charges a few months after getting the computer.  Now, I'm trying to merge the 'old' on the new computer account with the migrated account 'new', I restored it with time machine from the old imac.  I thought I was smart "passage" large libraries of film and photo of users / shared and that the account migrated from old imac. (on the same computer again) But I have no write permissions for files on the migrated account.  And making matters worse, while I can't write to files, I'm still able to corrupt them trying to change permissions and try to load them with i-movie and what not.  So now, I have a 6 GB corrupted movie library and not backup.  I tried it duplication and corrupt also.

    So my question would be "why is it when I add to the new migration full privileges to user for these files, I always failed to write about them?  Now instead, I wonder if there is a way I can fix the corrupted film library file.  Film - I tried and failed on the double.    I tried available i-movie file to 'all' as well as the addition of the new migrated user full privileges to it.  While I was able to do it without error (it seems to take the changes) or the new migrated user or former user on the new computer can write to the file (i-film library) at this stage.

    Every article help I read says just to click on info and change the privileges for what I did.  So I'm pulling my hair out.

    Hope that I was not too confusing in the way that I want to talk about the two different accounts.

    Reset user - file property See post by Linc Davis

    You may need to restore the permissions on your user account. To do this, start on your recovery partition (hold down the command and R during startup) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In the Terminal, type: 'resetpassword' (without the), press return, and then select the admin user. You do not have to reset your password. Click the icon of your Mac hard drive at the top. In the list box below, select the user account that has problems. At the bottom of the window, you will see a box labeled restore Home Directory permissions and ACLs. Click the button to reset there. The process takes a few minutes. When you're finished, restart.

    Fix the permissions of the user
