  Hello world.

  I looked all over the Internet a Blackberry app that allows me to dial calls through my Blackberry using my desktop computer, while they are hooked together via the USB port. Surprisingly, it doesn't exist.

  A simple application of this concept would allow me to highlight a phone number on the computer screen and then to have it pass the phone to the Blackberry to dial number. Another simple application would be to use the numeric keypad on the keyboard of my desktop computer to dial the phone number. In an advanced application, I have a system of contact management running on my desktop that allows me to make phone calls via the Blackberry by putting of the notes on my PC and then synchronize my data in the Blackberry, so that when I go to the office, I have all my data with me.

  That's how the real world works.  A lot of sales and senior managers are in and out of their offices every day. When in the office, using their computer to dial through their Blackberry offers many advantages:

  (1) an appeal of a client by using a line of office could mean that the customer calls back on this line of office when you are is no longer there. Outgoing calls on the Blackberry ensures that when you receive the call back, you'll be able to consider minimizing the phone tag.

  (2) we will take seriously.  Call with the computer allows for a much faster cleaner composition. Composition on a computer keyboard is much easier to use the very small keys on the Blackberry.  If you have to do a lot of quick calls, do on the computer is going to be a lot better than trying to do it on your Blackberry.

  (3) If you have an expensive phone system in your office, it can be very expensive to buy a PC interface for this, which allows you to compose your calls using the computer.   Yes, I'm very new to this, even if I have had a Blackberry for almost 2 years.  So... my situation is that I can't find any help to find a "Dial Pad Screen".  I must confess I have a Palm Treo, and it was a screen of dial pad.  That is until I through a moving car after being so sick of all the crud it was day after day, after day, etc, etc, etc!   Well, you get the idea.  In any case... I would really like to know if I have to do?  Download an application of somesort, maybe?

  I'm not aware of an application that does this? If you attempt to dial a number like 1-800-COMCAST, or something like that? All you have to do is to hold down the ALT key when you form the letters and it will dial the correct number.

• BlackBerry Smartphones dial from home screen problem

  When I'm on my home screen and you want to dial a number, which is not in my contacts, I have to enter the first number twice.   I just made a few attempts to compose my home screen, and it allows me to continue to dial the whole number. Yes, I have the search box that appears when I dial from the home screen but the right to the title of the box, it shows the numbers that i entered with a green phone icon at the end of their. I've never had the problem you describe so my suggestion to you would be to make sure you have the latest version of your operating system installed, make sure that the applications you have installed on your phone do not affect the performance of your normal phone (because some applications difference on how your phone works) and in case you haven't tried yet I do a battery pull to reboot. You can restart without a traction battery, called a soft reboot, but sometimes it is best to remove the battery. It could also have something to do with the way you have your settings on your phone. Do not forget that I have never experienced this problem so these are suggestions simply vague to try to help a user of Style companions. But I'll do some research more and see if I can find an answer more useful.

  Recently, I sold my older camera and got a new 9780.

  Still using the same number, I put the same SIM card in the new device and all the setting worked successfully, with the exception of my emails.

  It says, new device detected and I followed the instructions to transfer my emails on the new phone, but the icons of the mailbox has never show on the home screen. I have 2 webmail Gmail and MSN.

  Tried to send service books, but it no longer works.

  This just started to happen.  After placing a call from Contacts or voice dialing and you need to press additional numbers, to say voice mail or password instructions, click Display keypad to find a garbled screen.

  The screen is fine, at the launch of the call directly from the keypad.  Sometimes, just when you need to enter numbers after the number is dialed.

  Yesterday all my speed dial keys stoped working, my voice command works but not the dial number, when I click on a phone number of a message and click to dial, it will not include and I have a new strange icon on the home screen

  This icon represents audio setting, either boost or accentuation of acute basis.

  On the home screen, press the call button to open the newspaper. Press the menu/action key to open the menu and choose options. Find the audio settings or during a call and you will get the options to increase the headphone audio and audio handset. Choose normal for both in order to remove the icon.

  Do a battery pull and it would solve the problem of the composition. Please provide any comments about how it happens.

• BlackBerry Smartphones display my number above the dialing key

  My phone display "My Number: unknown Number" above the number display and I want to change my real number. "I tried the 'status' in the Menu which will then show my number: unknown" and the times of 'Last call' and 'calls altogether.   1. The phone number is not filled on the map of the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM).

  Have you tried the same SIM card on another device to see if you are able to send SMS? If you have a first then make a complete backup of your device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, then back to factory setting to avoid any IT policy as a device, consult this Knowledge Base to help:

  To set the automatic numbering of the voicemail on the BlackBerry smartphone password
