BlackBerry smartphones dial your Blackberry from your desktop

Hello world.

I looked all over the Internet a Blackberry app that allows me to dial calls through my Blackberry using my desktop computer, while they are hooked together via the USB port. Surprisingly, it doesn't exist.

A simple application of this concept would allow me to highlight a phone number on the computer screen and then to have it pass the phone to the Blackberry to dial number. Another simple application would be to use the numeric keypad on the keyboard of my desktop computer to dial the phone number. In an advanced application, I have a system of contact management running on my desktop that allows me to make phone calls via the Blackberry by putting of the notes on my PC and then synchronize my data in the Blackberry, so that when I go to the office, I have all my data with me.

That's how the real world works.  A lot of sales and senior managers are in and out of their offices every day. When in the office, using their computer to dial through their Blackberry offers many advantages:

(1) an appeal of a client by using a line of office could mean that the customer calls back on this line of office when you are is no longer there. Outgoing calls on the Blackberry ensures that when you receive the call back, you'll be able to consider minimizing the phone tag.

(2) we will take seriously.  Call with the computer allows for a much faster cleaner composition. Composition on a computer keyboard is much easier to use the very small keys on the Blackberry.  If you have to do a lot of quick calls, do on the computer is going to be a lot better than trying to do it on your Blackberry.

(3) If you have an expensive phone system in your office, it can be very expensive to buy a PC interface for this, which allows you to compose your calls using the computer. Interface your Blackberry to manage calls solves this problem.  Better yet, nobody can apply to their boss, technicians or the bean counters to get there.

I really think that something like this would be very useful to anyone who made a lot of calls and who is in and out of the office. In other words, most Blackberry owners.

The fact that I find all the apps that composition of control to a Blackberry using desktop software may be an indication that it cannot be done. That said, it seems to me that simply put a file in a folder on the Blackberry with the phone number to dial, and then to have an application running on the Blackberry that observed for this data file and reacts him by dialing the number should be possible to do.

Truth is, I am amazed that this application is not built into the Blackberry Desktop Software that comes with the phone.  However, for anyone in the world to have created this already applications is pretty hard to believe, too.

Anyone who has a solution?

Kind regards

John

  • Establish your desktop profile / temporary

    Hello

Running Vista Ultimate.  Had problems with my media center extender connection.  Once I started the PC, it works fine.  But some time either once a day or two if I have not connected the Extender already, or once it has been connected and then turn off, I can't reconnect.  There are errors in Event Viewer indicating that the profile is already in use.

I finally decided to experiment and created a second user account in Windows (instead of Steve, this is SteveTest).  Well, if I go to this account first after the start, fine.  But if I connect to my existing account, then close the session, then log in to the new test account, it says "Preparing your desktop", then connects, then I get a message saying that it could not load my profile and uses a temporary.  I also have the same types of event messages seen as when I have problems in Media Center Extender.

If I use the Test profile first, it never locks my original profile of Steve.  I can use the original profile of Steve for a week and never have a problem with disconnecting and logging to it, even after obtaining the profile of loading issues with the Test account/profile.

It seems that maybe something in my old 'Steve' account is blocking up of some files or something in the registry and not let other accounts/load profiles, but I'm stuck in the measure where that might be, why, how to fix, or how even troubleshoot it.  Ideas?  I bet that wiping the old profile of Steve fix everything, but I would avoid it if possible, so I would actually solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Steve

Original title: laptop charge no office

Please bear with me, this is my first post and I'm not very computer literate. I have a laptop Packard Bell under Windows 7. Everything seemed fine until I turned it on the other day and after the login screen I noticed that the blue screen of windows had a message saying, preparing your desktop... it stayed for a few minutes and then he went to my office, but the screen was black and none of my usual icons were present. He has none of my usual icons in the taskbar either. My usual browser of choice is Chrome, but now there is only IE in the taskbar. I did a scan with Malwarebytes and it came with JS/Redir, I removed this and restarted the computer laptop, but had the same problem. I can't access the internet, but a strange thing is that the default fonts for things like email have been changed. Please help me get my usual workstation and familiar environment of return!

    Hello Maurice Mann

Thank you for all the time and effort that you put in trying to help me with my laptop PC problem.  I think that all the trouble which resulted from a faulty AVG!

I finally managed to uninstall this program, I started to make progress.

I finally got back on the internet by following the tips as follows: -.

Run the SFC system several times. Click Start, click all programs, and then accessories. Right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. Type or copy sfc/scannow then press ENTER. If it finds errors, but cannot fix try a couple of times again. If it still does not work, then restart.

I tried a few times and nothing happened, so I decided to make one last try and after a reboot, everything was back to normal.  I had the help of Windows and pages of back Support, my office, and all of my favorite settings and I've been on the internet Wi - fi!

Thank you once again and I hope my information helps in the future.

    Hello

    You can try the following.

    Shut down the laptop.

Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.

Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the log - it occurs first and then do the restore.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check what happens when you log in.

Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

    Kind regards
