• Exchange of TMS 3.0.1 & TMS 13.2 Cisco TMS server does not respond. Put an end.

  I recently upgraded to TMS 13.2 and installed Exchange TMS 3.0.1. Installation and Configuration worked well, but no event is synchronized to MSDS. If I look at the log file, I see the following line:

  Cisco TMS Server is not responding. Halting.

  It seems that TMS Exchange is not able to communicate with the TMS. Setup worked well, and the TMS user is Super Administrator, so I don't think it's a problem of permission.

  I have attached the journal exchange of tms with level Debug of the game.

  Any ideas?

  Using HTTPS or HTTP to communicate with the SMT server through the TMSXE service?

  Also, I would look in the Windows event logs to see if there's something interesting here. Especially check the application + TMSXE the event logs. I Don t want to join here (it's for the TAC) but if you see something that could be linked to the issue, please let us know.

  Otherwise, I recommend you get help from TAC on this since it is more appropriate for a deeper repair.

  I did a test of the configuration with ESX5 a vCenter Server 5 device.

  I could add a host, but after a short period of time (a few minutes) host all become the status "not responding".

  Here is what finally worked for me after three days:

  1. Download KB978207 stand-alone Installer for your version of windows.
  2. Open the file with winrar and dig into the file manifests for individual files.
  3. Check out them on the desk.
  4. Go to C:\Windows\winsxs\manifests
  5. Right click on each of the corresponding files > Security tab > advanced > a change in ownership and select your current user.
  6. Press apply then Ok until all windows are closed.
  7. DELETE the file that you have just taken possession of.
  8. Repeat 5 to 7 for all files listed in the journal.
  9. Copy and paste the files that you extracted the Office back in C:\Windows\winsxs\manifests
  10. Run the system update readiness tool
  11. Re-check newspapers and fade, re-raise Windows Update or SP1 standalone installer.

  I have a profile that does not allow for split tunneling for the VPN client. Yet, when a client connects, the connection statistics indicate that some traffic is listed as 'bypassed '.

  Did someone knows what this traffic would be, and it is indeed without going through the tunnel and go to the directly connected LAN?

  Here's an explantion:

  Bypassed packages - the total number of packets of data that the Client VPN do not apply because they must not be encrypted. Local ARPs and DHCP are in this category.

• REB - E911 - internal emergency number

  We have the Cisco Unified Call Manager 8.5 and Cisco Emergency Responder 8.5 in place where I work, and the work of great E911 service. My question is, is it possible to add an another for internal use 3-digit emergency number only in addition to the 911 that we must work. This emergency number would be works in the same way that the 911 number but stay within our internal network and do not reach the emergency responders outside. This number would be for emergencys managed by our internal response team.

  I'm not sure it would be possible to use the CER server for this? Does anyone do this?

  Our VAR tells us that HP and Cisco are splitting up.  We are an HP store today and 7800-H series MCS routers were a perfect fit.  Our VAR tells us now that he must go with the renamed IBM systems.  BUT I would avoid the IBM servers.  And attractive servers Cisco.  But I have been unable to determine if the Cisco UCS-C210 M1 server is certified for various applications of Unified Communications (Manager of Communications, unity, Cisco Emergency Responder, ICM, CVP, etc.).

  UCS blades are being qualified for management of the applications of the CPU now. The qualification of rack mount server is expected, specifically the C210 later this summar I think.

• Thunderbird no longer responds

  I've used TB without problem for many years. Yesterday when I launched the app that I have to enter my password (password is) then he hooked (no response).

  I'm deploying a solution of BE6K with servers of UCS series C (2) and the following virtual machines:

  1 call Manager Pub

  1 call Manager Sub

  Pub in connection of the 1 unit

  1 unit connection Sub

  Emergency responders 2

  1 unified presence

  I had a question about the placement of the VM of the unit. They are in an active/active cluster. I assume that the customer could take more than a charge that the editor but was not sure. Here's how I thought I was going to design things:

  UCS 1

  Call Manager Pub

  Unity connection Sub

  Emergency responder

  UCS 2

  Call Manager Sub

  Pub in connection of the unit

  Emergency responder

  Someone at - it recommendations for placement of VM for the more effective load balancing? I was looking through the CPU on the documentation of the UCS, but they is never were going to retail at CUC publishers and subscribers, they just show a CUC VMS on each server or blade...

  Or the alternative is acceptable, and your list so that you are not subscribed resources are perfectly fine. Do not forget that the REB also has a notion of pub/sub with being the primary and the secondary one.

  Are you planning on running on any other virtual machines or the construction of a dedicated virtual machine?

• Does not start, need more and more memory, then crashes. It is SOLVED by deleting DB, panacea.dat, foldertree.json CAUSE global messages: uknown

  As a user of Thunderbird long term (currently version 38.2.0 on Win7 x 86 US) today, I caught myself (negatively) by the following problem: at the launch at the start of Thunderbird, the window will appear last closed (and for a short while, I see my files, etc., as left behind, during the last closure of Thunderbird), but then it turns into State "Not responding" (nothing works). When we look in the Task Manager, I see that Thunderbird seizes more and more memory, before this date - after a few seconds - crashing. I really hope that for some help fast, if possible (I desperately need a solution for e-mail job well - ideally the one I had, i.e. Thunderbird with my settings).

  What I tried:
  -Uninstall Thunderbird and install it again (did not help)
  -Uninstall Thunderbird and install an older version (I tried 38.1.0, 38.0.2, and 31.8.0 - nothing has worked)
  -from Thunderbird in SafeMode (same problem)
  -from Thunderbird in safe mode of Windows (same problem)
  -from Thunderbird in offline mode (did not help)

  My main question to know how to solve this problem, includes questions such as
  ? Should I try to delete some files of Thunderbird and try again (which ones?)?
  ? Can I use a command line "tricks" to get Thunderbird started?
  Etc.

  I think I solved my problem: delete messages from global reach DB and panacea.dat foldertree.json helped - once Thunderbird started again interactively and now I can restore my data files/messages.
